Land arrives at a manor and encounters Walter, who seems to be celebrating. Meanwhile, Lynn leads his troops through the mountains towards Manor Castle, contemplating the strategic benefits of improved infrastructure and the logistical challenges of long marches. He sends a messenger ahead to prepare food for the soldiers upon their arrival.

Winning a large-scale war isn't solely dependent on military might; it also hinges on the reserves, supply, and effective management of provisions.

Upon considering this, Lynn found himself increasingly grateful for the substantial farm he had previously established within his territory, investing considerable manpower and resources into its construction.

Within his domain, there were no other advanced methods for transporting goods.

For the movement of soldiers or for engaging in combat, warhorses were an absolute necessity!

However, Lynn mused, the Southern Border Land was a distant destination.

Wasn't this remote location a form of protection for his territory?

Whether facing the ongoing conflict with the Imperial Authority or dealing with Marquis Mark Ducas, any force intending to dispatch troops to Kakasong City, proceed to Morgan Town, and then reach his lands would be compelled to advance independently, incurring significant logistical burdens for provisions!

Lynn's gaze shifted, surveying the ranks behind him.

Despite the demanding orders, his 3,800 soldiers were engaged in a high-intensity march. Under the flickering torchlight, their faces showed no signs of fatigue or weariness; instead, they were alight with excitement and eager anticipation.

Lynn recognized this eagerness; these soldiers yearned for battle!

They craved the opportunity to transform their identities and elevate their social standing through warfare, as prior to their recruitment, they had been nothing more than peasants or free individuals subjected to oppression and mistreatment.

Many of them, and indeed their fathers and grandfathers before them, had lived lives as mere free people, for peasants seldom saw their descendants inherit anything.

Consequently, compared to other soldiers, they desired war even more intensely!

Lynn suspected they might even face death on the battlefield without hesitation, precisely because he, their Lord, had already meticulously planned for their well-being.

This was particularly true for the 800 Pan Rock Iron Guards, who had only recently arrived in his territory. They urgently needed a crucible of battle to demonstrate their prowess and validate their loyalty to Lynn.

Lynn turned his attention to Rose, issuing an instruction: "Rose, order the soldiers to increase their marching pace and reach the Manor Castle as swiftly as possible."

Rose, positioned by his side, responded promptly, "Yes, Master!"

As Rose relayed the command to the nearby messenger soldiers, one after another, they galloped towards the marching columns behind.

Shouts of instruction continuously echoed throughout the ranks. Due to the limitations of the narrow, muddy, and stony road, the troop's formation was constrained. Cavalry could only proceed four abreast, while infantry marched ten abreast. Nevertheless, the marching column remained lengthy, stretching at least 200-300 meters.

For the troops at the rear to receive the Lord's directives, the most rudimentary methods of relaying information had to be employed.

Lynn flicked his reins, causing Mo Ying to whinny and quicken its stride, charging into the darkness ahead. Red, Rose, and a contingent of cavalry followed closely.

Ahead of the marching troops, a vanguard of over a hundred light cavalry scouted the path. Lynn felt no concern about the possibility of an ambush.

Behind, the heavy cavalry, heavy infantry, and archers all accelerated their pace, advancing forward. Where they passed, waves of dust billowed up.

Amidst the disciplined march of the soldier's army, the night gradually receded, and on the distant eastern horizon, the first faint hints of dawn began to appear.

Slowly, the dawn transformed into a golden hue, bathing the slowly drifting clouds. The once-translucent white clouds were instantly stained with a radiant golden color.

As the sky brightened, the dimness of the land was dispelled, and the soldiers' marching pace and speed grew increasingly brisk.

Perhaps fueled by the soldiers' palpable excitement, Lynn's original estimate was that they would reach the Manor Castle by nightfall. However, by mid-afternoon, they could already discern in the distance the sight of a massive Manor Castle standing amidst the now-harvested fields.

A flicker of satisfaction gleamed in Lynn's eyes. After nearly a day and night of marching, they were finally nearing the Manor Castle!

Seated atop his horse, Lynn glanced back at the soldiers and loudly instructed, "Enter the Manor Castle and have a meal to rest!"

The messengers, upon hearing Lynn's command, immediately pulled on their reins and turned their horses around. Repeating his words, they dashed back towards the rear.

"Lord's command: Enter the Manor Castle!"

"Have a meal, rest, and recuperate!"

A continuous echo of these repeated shouts resonated from behind, immediately met by the soldiers' orderly and resounding response.

"Thank the Lord!"

Witnessing this spirited and vigorous troop, Lynn couldn't help but nod approvingly.

Retracting his gaze, he flicked his reins once more, urging Mo Ying forward towards the Manor Castle ahead. Red and some guards followed immediately.

Rose hesitated for a few moments but ultimately chose to remain with the main troop. As the Lord, Lynn could undoubtedly lead the guards into the Manor Castle to make the necessary arrangements for the tasks ahead.

However, as the Commander leading these brave soldiers, the responsibility of overseeing them fell squarely upon his shoulders. Observing the soldiers, clad in gleaming armor meticulously forged within his own territory, standing in disciplined ranks upon the formidable castle ramparts. The expansive city gates lay open, revealing a perfectly organized contingent positioned at the very entrance. Lynn wasted no time, urging Mo Ying onward, their path set directly towards the grand Manor Castle.
