Luo Qingtong playfully embraces a fox cub that unexpectedly jumps into her arms. The servants offer her the use of a hot spring. Luo Qingtong decides to bathe, bringing the fox cub along with her. Once inside the hot spring, she removes her outer garments and enters the water.

Luo Qingtong reveled in the soothing warmth of the natural hot spring, a deep sense of contentment washing over her. As her gaze drifted downwards, she noticed the small fox nestled in her arms gazing at her with a vacant stare, which immediately brought a smile to her face.

"What are you looking at?" she inquired, gently tapping its tiny nose.

"Have you never seen a beauty like me before?" Luo Qingtong asked with a soft chuckle.

Completely at ease, she found herself playfully teasing the little creature for once.

She didn't anticipate any reaction, yet the little fox simply nodded its head with a blank expression.

"Hahaha! Did Ye Qianming teach you that? To just nod no matter what I ask?" Luo Qingtong watched the little fox, its entire body damp and appearing like a tiny, sodden scrap, and couldn't help but laugh as she began to bathe it.

The fox's body instantly tensed.

Luo Qingtong's hands moved over its small form, cleansing and scrubbing.

Had it not been for the vivid and alluring scene unfolding before his eyes, Ye Qianming might not have given it much thought. However, his body was now alight with a burning heat.

Yet, trapped in the form of a small, fluffy fox, Ye Qianming was utterly powerless against Luo Qingtong.

Internally frustrated, he struggled to suppress the surging heat consuming him.

Subtly, within Ye Qianming's body, waves of intense heat flowed with each breath, being gradually absorbed and neutralized.

Unbeknownst to him, the little fox form Ye Qianming currently inhabited began to increase slightly in size.

This was due to a portion of the Demon Fox Essence Blood, which he had taken from the Sky Demon Fox, being partially dissolved.

Once this Essence Blood was fully integrated and refined, and his life force successfully extended, the Demon Fox Blood Curse that afflicted Ye Qianming would be rendered completely ineffective, allowing him to regain his human form.

Following the partial assimilation of the Demon Fox Essence Blood within his body, Ye Qianming felt a wave of weakness wash over him. He slumped listlessly in Luo Qingtong's embrace.

Observing its weakened state, Luo Qingtong promptly enveloped it entirely in her dry outer robe, wiped away the moisture, and then placed it on the edge of the hot spring, letting it lean against her.

"Hm? That’s strange, why do I feel like you've gotten a bit bigger?" Luo Qingtong peered at Ye Qianming, now bundled like a sphere, a hint of puzzlement in her eyes.

Was she imagining it?

Even if it had genuinely grown slightly, it wasn't something that warranted significant attention.

The small creatures in this Otherworld were, after all, quite different from those she was accustomed to.

Furthermore, this Little Silver Fox had been a gift from Ye Qianming himself. It was possible it possessed an unusual lineage; who could say for sure.

With these thoughts, Luo Qingtong dismissed the matter.

She lingered in the hot spring for a while longer before rising, putting on her outer robe, and carrying the Little Silver Fox back with her.

Upon returning to her room, Luo Qingtong shed her damp garments and donned the sleepwear she wore at night.

She settled onto the bed, her gaze falling upon the Little Silver Fox she had placed on the bedding.

The creature appeared to have regained some of its vitality. Its ears drooped with dejection as it lowered its head, seemingly engrossed in some unknown activity. Its tiny paws were vigorously pawing at something on the bedding, prying loose the threads of a once-pristine silk quilt.

Witnessing its antics, Luo Qingtong felt no frustration, only profound amusement.

The little companion's emotions seemed remarkably human-like.

Its current behavior was akin to someone silently sulking.

Recalling the earlier incident where she had playfully dangled a grasshopper before it, Luo Qingtong couldn't help but chuckle.

Could it be brooding over its inability to resist that small temptation and maintain its resolve?

The thought brought another wave of laughter to Luo Qingtong's lips.
