Clang!!
The heavy ship ran aground on the shore, and the deafening clash of metal echoed, instantly turning the atmosphere of Ghost Wind Port into one of chilling murder.
Scarlet gazes converged on the ship’s deck, waiting for their prey to appear.
They bared their teeth, restless and eager.
Chis, being the leader, squinted his eyes, gazing eerily at the ship, not lacking in anger.
Such brazen arrival without hiding or avoidance, to Chis, was practically a provocative humiliation!
He was already impatiently longing to drink blood to vent his anger.
On the deck of the ship, which fell silent after docking on the shore, under countless focused gazes, a young man’s silhouette finally emerged.
Unarmed, lean, he stood proudly on the deck, looking at the vampires without a trace of fear on his face.
It seemed he was not the prize these vampires could take; rather, these vampires were nothing in his eyes.
Chis glared at Ye Xuan coldly and spoke in a chilly voice, "Are you Ye Xuan?"
Ye Xuan nodded calmly, "I am."
"You brat!" Chis snarled, "Knowing that the vampire tribe won’t let you go, yet you dare to appear so boldly to save Lisa, you are seeking death!"
"Oh, really?" Ye Xuan smiled, "Two nights ago, a batch of vampires said the same harsh words to me, and shortly thereafter, they were all dead."
"Do you think all members of the vampire tribe are as weak as Zate?" Chis coldly laughed, "Kid, you are too naive; you will soon know just how terrifying the vampire race is!"
Ye Xuan’s eyes drooped as he smiled silently.
The vampires, a powerful race from the Western World, with a heritage spanning thousands of years, could even contend with the Hidden Dragon, naturally very formidable.
Yet, a race being terrifying does not mean this batch of people in front of him is terrifying.
Chis sensed the disdain in Ye Xuan’s gaze, his anger instantly mounting.
He was about to give a direct order.
The phone beside suddenly rang.
Upon close inspection, it was a call from Edward’s personal protector.
Chis skeptically frowned, then answered the phone, "Lord Gru, what are your orders?"
A voice came from the other end, "The Clan Leader has ordered that Ye Xuan is still of use to him. If the seven protectors encounter him, just cripple him, but don’t take his life!"
With that, the call was abruptly ended.
Chis was stunned for quite a while, not grasping what Edward was planning.
But now, Edward was the Clan Leader of the vampire tribe, and Chis had always been one of Edward’s trusted confidants, so naturally, he had no choice but to comply with the order.
Only feeling somewhat reluctant.
This arrogant lad, displaying such disdain for Chis, and today, he still couldn’t kill this boy!
"Capture him first, afterward, definitely request from the Clan Leader, after he’s done using this person, to hand him over to me for slaughter!"
Chis chanted silently to himself, then said sternly, "The Clan Leader orders that the man on the deck cannot be killed yet, cripple him and capture him!"
Upon hearing this, the vampires hungry for blood were all stunned, losing much enthusiasm.
They wanted to drink blood.
And on the deck, Ye Xuan couldn’t help but frown.
Edward doesn’t want to kill him temporarily? Is he trying to use him to lure out the hidden Lisa?
Really quite interesting...
"Although you can’t kill, drinking his blood is still fine!" Chis said sinisterly watching Ye Xuan, "And there’s a woman on board, heh heh... brothers, don’t hold back!"
Instantly, nearly a thousand vampires were once again charged with excitement.
Chis didn’t want to linger, shouted commandingly, "Do it!"
"Heh heh heh..."
Sinister vampire laughter echoed wildly, accompanied by a series of mournful breaking wind sounds.
One humanoid blood bat after another, like a swarm of locusts, rushed towards the west of the ship, the laughter sharp and chilling, with bloodthirsty fangs.
Ye Xuan squinted his eyes, remaining still in response.
Bang bang bang!
A series of dull explosions kept echoing; the vampires, with absolute numerical superiority, seemed no different from ants in front of Ye Xuan, and in an instant, dozens of vampires exploded into clusters of blood mist in the air.
Sweeping everything before him.
Just like the scene at Hell Beach, Ye Xuan alone once again played the unrivaled War God, letting no matter how ferociously the opponent rushed, unable to touch him at all.
Chis, yet to act, felt stunned.
This young man from Yan Country’s Mortal World, so young, how could his qigong cultivation be so profound?
With such prowess, even among Hidden Dragons, he would likely be a formidable figure, right?
This was illogical!
As Chis came to his senses, Ye Xuan had already subdued hundreds of vampires barehanded.
The remaining vampires, witnessing their kind so easily destroyed by that young man, showed fear on their faces, no longer daring to act rashly, even starting to retreat cautiously.
Chis was furious, "Bastards! What are you doing? You are noble vampires; how can you be frightened by a mere human?"
Chis had barely finished speaking.
Suddenly feeling terrified, the hairs on his entire body had already stood on end.
Chis was shocked, looking up suddenly, seeing Ye Xuan, who had just been standing on the deck, now in front of him, showing a harmless smile.
This smile instinctively made Chis feel chills, as if Ye Xuan was the bloodthirsty, savage vampire, and he was the insignificant human!
Ye Xuan looked at Chis lightly, smiled and said, "Thanks to your vile Clan Leader for temporarily not wanting to kill me, but... I probably don’t need you to be so courteous, what do you think?"
Mockery.
This was outright mockery!
Chis clenched his teeth, bared his sharp white fangs, without any warning, directly launched his most powerful and rapid attack at Ye Xuan.
However.
Even Chis.
Couldn’t even graze Ye Xuan’s hair.
Boom!
A dull yet deafening explosion echoed, and Chis was reduced to a cloud of blood mist, his white remains scattered all over.
While Ye Xuan appeared hundred meters away, unscathed by the blood mist in the air.
The remaining vampires at Ghost Wind Port, witnessing this scene, were all horrified, their pupils brimming with terrified sparkles.
They wanted to flee.
But Ye Xuan didn’t give them the chance.
The scattered stones at their feet were now like lethal bullets, crazily traversing the area.
Thump thump thump!
Dire, chaotic, yet rhythmically penetrating sounds echoed continuously.
In just half a minute.
The guardian vampires of Ghost Wind Port, nearly a thousand in number, were utterly defeated, corpses littered everywhere, with no survivors.
