Supremacy Games Chapter 1: Ruins Exploration Gone Wrong!

"MY ASS IS ON FIRE!"

"MY BUTT-HOLE IS BURNING!!!"

"F*CK, MAKE IT STOP PLEASE!!"

With a distorted face drenched in tears and snot, Felix gripped his rear tightly while thrashing on the ground. A crimson trail smeared the floor behind him, leaking from his anus.

His agonizing wails reverberated endlessly through a massive chamber. The floor was paved with tiles inlaid with vibrant gemstones, and the amber-colored walls shimmered under the artificial glow of milky-white gems fixed to the ceiling.

The radiance from these stones illuminated the hall in vivid detail, exposing every corner.

Standing tall at the corners of the hall were statues of soldiers, each clutching a unique weapon in one hand. Their other forearms were wrapped in purple chains, held with a desperate, life-clutching grip.

These four violet chains converged on a small platform positioned at the dead center of the room.

The chains held it so securely that it remained suspended in mid-air without any other support!

Floating gently above the platform was a colorless, fist-sized flame that flickered like liquid water. Beneath it, two motionless bodies lay on the floor.

In truth, only one was a fresh corpse; the other had already been reduced to a charred skeleton.

Slam!

Felix’s frantic rolling came to a sudden halt as he smashed into the corpse. Had his vision not been blurred by his sobbing, he would have realized he had just collided with Kathy.

She was his fellow clan member who had joined this ruins exploration mission, hunting for natural treasures and resources to advance her bloodline path. Now, she lay there cold, one of her eyes violently gouged out from the socket.

Moments earlier, her eye had been struck by a needle of colorless fire launched by the entity atop the platform.

In a desperate bid to stop the infernal torment it caused, she had dug out her own eye. Her current state was a gruesome testament to the fact that her efforts had failed miserably.

On the bright side, at least she didn't share the fate of Felix, who was currently screaming like a little girl who just had her candy snatched away.

Though his pained shrieks sounded pathetic, Felix was entirely justified—his butt-hole had just been pierced by that same flame needle!

Unable to endure the agony any longer, he let out one final cry and passed out, his eyes rolling back into his head.

To comprehend how he ended up in this nightmare, one must look back at the events of the past week.

...

Seven days prior, the clan’s exploration team detected massive energy readings coming from a nearby ruined planet. They were heading home after a successful mission, but upon seeing those signals, there was no way they would simply pass them by.

They altered their trajectory and headed straight for the planet.

Upon landing, they discovered the source of the signals deep beneath a magnificent, ruined city, half of which was swallowed by the earth.

Like any veteran explorers, they felt this was their lucky day. They had stumbled upon a deserted metropolis that likely belonged to one of the universe's superior races. The sheer grandeur of the ruins, even in their decayed state, supported this theory.

Rather than reporting the find to the clan as per protocol, greed took hold. They voted to keep the discovery to themselves and explore the ruins.

However, the city was so vast it would take years to search even half of it. Consequently, the captain ordered them to split into three-person teams.

Felix, Kathy, and Jayden—who was now the scorched skeleton—formed a group to scout the city's western sector.

Predictably, the first day yielded nothing of value for Felix’s party. Still, they persisted, searching for a path leading underground in hopes of being the first to reach the energy source.

The second day was equally fruitless.

The third day brought the same disappointment, as did the fourth. By the fifth day, fatigue began to set in. On the sixth day, just as they were losing heart, Jayden discovered a two-meter-wide hole hidden beneath the rubble of a collapsed building while he was taking a bathroom break.

Instead of alerting his team, he decided to scout the tunnel alone. First come, first served, right?

Unfortunately, he didn't find ancient legacies or treasures. Instead, he found a long, dim passage leading into the unknown. Terrified by the darkness, he crawled back out to get Felix and Kathy.

The eerie, gloomy path had scared him senseless, and he lacked the courage to walk it alone.

After hearing the news, Felix decided they shouldn't tell the others and should keep the find for themselves.

Who could blame him? The crew had at least 54 bloodliners, all competing for the best loot.

Felix, being among the weakest in the group, wasn't foolish enough to trade such an advantage for a mere pat on the back. Jayden felt the same way. Kathy was hesitant about going in with just the three of them, but Felix’s persuasive words eventually calmed her fears.

They trekked for twelve straight hours before finally seeing a glimmer of golden light at the end of the tunnel. Had their bodies not been strengthened by bloodline integration, they would have collapsed from exhaustion halfway through.

They raced toward the light with greedy expressions. But once they reached the end and saw the source of the glow, they stood frozen in disbelief.

Before them stood a massive, broken gate crafted entirely from Heron Amber Stones. This was one of the rarest luxury materials in the universe, only found in the outer cores of planets under specific, extreme conditions.

This priceless stone, usually found only by sheer luck, had been used to build a gate 50 meters high. Its width and depth were equally staggering.

They were stunned into silence, questioning their own sanity.

This sight confirmed their theory: the city belonged to an ancient superior race.

They knew such races were far beyond humanity in every aspect—strength, culture, wealth, and technology. There was no comparison.

This realization didn't make them feel inferior; it made them ecstatic! Whatever lay behind that gate was bound to be the ultimate prize.

They hurried toward a small gap at the base of the shattered gate, a hole no bigger than a rat's burrow.

Felix dropped to his stomach and crawled through the dirt and dust, his eyes gleaming with excitement. Kathy and Jayden followed close behind.

After dusting themselves off, they looked up and gasped at the sight of the hall, the floating platform held by purple chains, and the stone soldiers.

However, the real shock was the colorless flame that looked like a sphere of water. It flickered just enough to reveal its true nature. None of them had ever seen such a bizarre flame before.

They knew they had hit the jackpot. A flame this strange had to be a natural treasure, likely for fire-element users.

Even though none of them possessed the fire element, they could sell it for an astronomical amount of Supremacy Coins in the Universal Virtual Reality (UVR).

They exchanged wary glances. There was only one flame, but three of them.

Trusting someone else to keep the flame in their spatial card wasn't an option. They were clan mates, but they weren't close friends.

Suddenly, Felix bolted for the platform! Ignoring his teammates' angry glares, he forced them into a race.

But then, he subtly slowed down, letting the other two overtake him. They didn't find his lack of speed suspicious, assuming he was just exhausted from the long trek.

Felix continued to decelerate until he stopped completely, retreating toward the hole they had crawled through.

If the other two hadn't been so fixated on the flame, they would have noticed his desertion.

"Oh, fresh souls to possess? Not bad."

Suddenly, an angelic, sweet voice echoed in their minds—a voice so enticing it could make the devil himself lower his guard.

Kathy and Jayden, being closest to the flame spirit, immediately spun around to run toward Felix. They didn't care who had spoken; their instincts screamed at them to get away.

Unfortunately, once they entered the flame spirit’s domain and disturbed her, their fates were sealed.

Phew! Phew!

Two needles of colorless fire shot out at light speed. One pierced Jayden’s ear; the other struck Kathy’s eye.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!"

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"

Before Felix could process what was happening, the hall was filled with the most agonizing screams he had ever heard.

He watched in horror as his teammates thrashed around like fish in a net.

His legs felt like lead, preventing him from moving. He watched as Kathy desperately used her fingers to dig into her eye socket, trying to remove the needle. She ended up pulling out her own eye, her hand drenched in blood.

She didn't seem to care about the eye; she just kept begging for the pain to stop. No one came to help. With two final whimpers, she fell silent forever.

"Tsk, she couldn't even survive the first stage of possession."

Confused by the rapid escalation, Felix looked away from Kathy’s body toward Jayden, who had just spoken!

Stunned, he locked eyes with Jayden and knew instantly that something else was inhabiting that body. But as Jayden opened his mouth to speak again, his body began to combust. His limbs turned to ash first, followed by his torso and head.

All that remained was a blackened skeleton.

"Sh*t! Another failure. I’m sick of this place. Twenty million years of imprisonment is enough! I've had it!" The flame spirit cursed inside Felix’s mind, snapping him out of his shock.

"Boy, you better not let me down too," she said coldly.

Felix didn't waste a second. He dropped to the floor and tried to crawl back into the hole to escape this hellhole.

He didn't even think about fighting. After seeing the speed of those needles, he knew his bloodline abilities were useless. He figured if he got into the tunnel, his head would be protected from the needles targeting his vitals and brain.

"Do you think your predecessors didn't try that?" She laughed like a maniac. "I might fail to sync our souls, but at least I’ll add another butt-hole virginity to my collection."

"Thank you for the gift," she added sincerely.

Terrified, Felix tried to roll over to protect his rear, but the hole was too narrow for such a move.

"Wait! Let's talk about this!!" he pleaded, his voice cracking as he tried to scramble to the other side.

Unfortunately, just as his upper body entered the hole, leaving his lower half exposed, the spirit flame said with satisfaction, "Perfection. Exactly as it should be."

"Noooooo!!!" he screamed, feeling like a target.

Phew!

The needle struck his anus with the precision of a professional dart player hitting a bullseye.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

"MY ASS IS MELTING!!"

"I'M SORRY FOR WAKING YOU! PLEASE LET ME GO!!"

A chorus of screams and pleas filled the hall and the dark tunnel. Felix tried to move to alleviate the pain, but the tight space made it impossible.

He crawled backward, face in the dirt, hands clutching his backside.

Once he was back in the open hall, he began rolling toward Kathy’s corpse, leaving a long trail of blood behind him.

He rolled until he finally lost consciousness.

....

Inside Felix's sea of consciousness...

The colorless flame began to take the form of a woman with wavy, shoulder-length crimson hair that sparkled like crystals.

Her yellowish eyes glowed with the intensity of stars. She had perfectly arched black eyebrows, a straight nose, and full, sensual red lips.

These features belonged to a flawless face on an hourglass figure with a perfect chest and rear.

Anyone seeing her would agree her beauty rivaled that of the universe itself, regardless of race.

However, the image was ruined when she began touching herself while laughing hysterically.

"FINALLY! After twenty million years and millions of failed attempts, I’ve found a soul that matches mine perfectly!"

"I, Asna, Origin of Law, am finally going to be free!"

She quickly composed herself. 'I must seize control of this soul, even if I have to sacrifice my laws. I can't let this slip away!'

Her form began to dissolve into a mist, spreading across the sea of consciousness.

But just as she prepared to ignite the mist and take over, a voice filled with rage and shame boomed through the space: "Over my dead body, you old hag!"

The previously calm sea of consciousness erupted, waves crashing against the surrounding walls.

The roar of the sea filled the area as the waves hammered against the soul barrier, attempting to destroy it.

Asna realized what Felix was doing and screamed in horror, "Stop! You fool! Are you trying to erase yourself forever?!"

She tried to reason with him. "Stop! If I destroy your consciousness, you can be reborn or revived later. But if you detonate your soul, I won't die with you!"

Felix, traumatized by his experience, wasn't listening. "I’d rather be reborn as a void creature than let you win."

"THIS IS FOR MY BUTT-HOLE VIRGINITY!" he yelled one last time as his soul barrier began to cave in.

Crash! Crash!

"You lunatic!!" Asna shrieked. Then, her expression turned just as crazed.

'I won't lose this chance. I’ll start the soul merge now. If he’s destroyed, I’ll be erased too since our souls will be linked. It’s not the freedom I wanted, but it’s better than another second in this cage.'

Moments later, the merge was complete. She sighed in relief and waited for the end with a calm smile.

Back in the hall…

An explosion equivalent to an old-world nuclear bomb erupted, destroying... well, only Jayden’s bones and Kathy’s body. The hall itself remained completely untouched.

...

At the moment of the blast, near the core of the galaxy...

A massive eye, the size of a planet, opened silently. Its pupil was a void, reflecting no light.

It looked toward the explosion and thought, 'Has something happened to my prison?'

The entity created a mirror to view everything that had transpired since the ship arrived at the ruins.

'Interesting. That witch finally found a soul compatible enough to host her spirit.'

He burst into laughter upon seeing Felix detonate himself over his lost dignity.
