Qin Xiu pushes Bao'er to her absolute limits through brutal combat, aiming to prove that even a perfected Bao'er cannot defeat him. After Bao'er evolves and unleashes her own universe-level power, a devastating clash ensues that erases everything between them. Despite reaching her full, intended potential, Bao'er fails to overcome Qin Xiu's overwhelming strength, leaving Chaos and Tai Yi to realize that the long-awaited battle has reached a hopeless conclusion.

“What exactly is Crape Myrtle waiting for?” Tai Yi asked, his brow furrowing. “Bao’er is clearly outmatched by Qin Xiu. If we do not trigger the universe reboot right now, we will lose any chance to do so later.”

Inside the geno hall, the Light Goddess and the Moment God—two of the primary twelve Annihilation-class God Spirits—were equally confounded. None of them could fathom the reason for Crape Myrtle’s hesitation.

“Mister, this is truly our final window,” the Light Goddess urged. “While Bao’er still holds him back, we have the opportunity to reboot the universe and begin anew.”

“Wait a bit longer,” Crape Myrtle commanded, silencing her.

“Mister, what could you possibly be waiting for?” the Moment God questioned.

She understood that Crape Myrtle was anticipating a specific development, yet she could not imagine what could possibly turn the tide against Qin Xiu.

If they failed to act while Bao’er delayed him, and Qin Xiu reached his full potential, a universal reboot would become impossible. “I am waiting for hope,” Crape Myrtle murmured. Despite his words, a flicker of anxiety clouded his gaze. Han Sen had yet to breach the wall and appear. Furthermore, Bao’er was losing. The Light Goddess was right; if they delayed indefinitely and Bao’er fell, Han Sen’s window of hope would vanish as well, leaving them with no chance of salvation.

Though his heart wavered, Crape Myrtle remained resolute in his decision to wait. He was unwilling to initiate the reboot prematurely.

He understood that a reboot would inflict catastrophic damage, and more importantly, it might prove ineffective against Qin Xiu. The Light Goddess had more to say, but suddenly, the sound of shattering gold rang out. Bao’er’s battle armor fractured completely. Streams of toxic, purple Qi poured from the fissures, seeping into her skin like vipers. Her expression turned ghastly pale as she gritted her teeth. Despite her efforts to flare with golden light, she could not escape the suppression of the purple Qi.

“Genes define the starting point of an existence, but they never dictate where it ends. It is a simple truth, yet so few comprehend it. Chaos, surely you agree?” Qin Xiu stared at Chaos, who had ripped through space to arrive.

Chaos surveyed Bao’er with sorrow and addressed Qin Xiu, “You win. We have been defeated! Our past claims were wrong. Is this the satisfaction you wanted? You must release Bao’er. She bears no personal grudge against you. If you despise the world so much, kill me instead. Leave her out of this!”

Qin Xiu ignored her plea. His gaze shifted to the geno hall as he coldly stated, “I am the reincarnation of Human Alpha, but reincarnation is merely that—a rebirth. I am Qin Xiu. I am not Human Alpha. While the memories of the Human King incline me toward action, it does not mean I share his desire to destroy Bao’er.”

“Does that mean you will let her go?” Chaos asked, a glimmer of relief touching her voice.

“Whether she is released or not is of no consequence to her,” Qin Xiu replied.

“What are you implying?” Chaos’s face paled.

“It means that everything will eventually reset,” Qin Xiu declared. “You, me, her, and even my little sister, Wan’er.” Ignoring the confusion in Chaos’s eyes, he approached the geno tablet. “Geno tablet, bring me Wan’er,” he whispered while standing beneath the artifact.

The geno tablet pulsed, manifesting a shadow. Out stepped the black-haired Wan’er.

She rested within a crystal coffin, appearing as if she were in a deep, peaceful slumber. Her eyes were shut tightly, and her eyebrows were furrowed in a subtle, eternal frown, as though she were lost in a complex dream. Qin Xiu touched the crystal, shattering it into fragments, and caught Wan’er as she fell into his embrace.

“Wan’er, peace will find us soon. You will remain the sweet, beautiful Wan’er you have always been. This entire world is nothing but a dream.” As he spoke, his body erupted with a violet radiance that merged with the light of the geno tablet, illuminating the cosmos like a scorching sun hung in an empty sky.

The purple glow smothered both the geno universe and the universe of kingdoms. The entire expanse was swallowed by this hue. The light carried a piercing, ethereal energy; even the distant geno hall was drenched in violet, transforming into a ghost-like temple. Everything—from jade walls to solid metal—was crystallized into amethyst. The world had become a haunting, beautiful, and chilling purple purgatory.

“What is happening? My power…” someone shrieked, realization dawning as they felt their strength bleeding away into the ether.

Even the Break World creatures suffered, their power draining with alarming speed in direct proportion to their strength, forming rivers of violet essence that flowed toward the space tablet. It was the same for the God Spirits in the holy halls. The denizens of Space Garden were powerless to halt the depletion.

Bao’er, too, shed her light, which flowed like a purple sea toward the geno tablet. Rivers, mountains, planets, and stars were all being emptied of their energy. The universe let out an agonized cry.

“What is he doing? This mimics the authority of a reboot, yet it is somehow different…” The Light Goddess shivered, sensing her own divine essence evaporating.

Crape Myrtle smiled bitterly. “He truly intends to pull the reset cord. He wants to wind the universe all the way back to before the moment Qin Wan’er was born, and before he himself ever received the Blood-Pulse.”

“That is impossible! Not even a true God Spirit can reverse time and space,” the Moment God argued. As a master of time, she knew the concept was mere fantasy, even for the gods.

In theory, the time axis existed, but real reversal was impossible. Events were set in stone; one could only wipe clean what had occurred. “If someone could travel back, they would only be witnessing echoes of the past, not truly rewriting existence.”

Crape Myrtle looked at Bao’er and countered, “It isn’t strictly impossible. The reboot mechanism holds the authority to erase space-time, but it only affects the universe’s structure, not the inhabitants. They are simply swept away by the change. However, if one were powerful enough to negate everything affecting every individual creature while simultaneously initiating a universal reboot, the theoretical reversal of time and space would be achieved.”

“But that would require erasing an infinite number of causal links! The scale is incomprehensible!” The Moment God’s face turned white as she stared at the violet madness.

“Qin Xiu forced Bao’er to evolve to her ultimate mode specifically to harness this energy,” Crape Myrtle said, his voice heavy. “And it isn't just her power he is taking—he is consuming all of ours as well.”
