As the Human King prepared to strike Bao’er, a sudden shift occurred when the consciousness of Qin Xiu forced its way back to take control of the body. After effortlessly neutralizing those who tried to intervene, Qin Xiu displayed terrifying command over universal power that far surpassed his predecessor. Ignoring the shock of onlookers, he focused his attention on Bao’er, revealing an unsettling agenda by offering his own blood to forcibly accelerate her evolution.

Chapter 3456 Pressure

Qin Xiu radiated an overwhelming pressure, far more terrifying than the Human King ever had. Upon the return of his original form, there was no overt bloodlust or displays of volatility. Instead, a silent, creeping dread spread outward, chilling Huangfu Jing, Lin Feng, and the others to their bones, leaving them trembling uncontrollably.

Bao’er had remained mute since Qin Xiu’s arrival. After casting a brief look toward Chaos and Han Ling’er, she consumed Qin Xiu’s blood without the slightest hesitation.

As the liquid touched her lips, the golden light radiating from her body ignited like gas meeting a spark, erupting into a roaring, intense flame.

Bathed in this brilliant, golden radiance, Bao’er began to age at an impossible speed. Her five-year-old form blurred, transforming from a child to an adolescent, and finally into a fully matured young woman. Her hair and pupils shifted into a shimmering gold, while her frame became encased in a suit of crystalline golden armor. She resembled a Valkyrie—cold, regal, and transcendent.

That golden flame seemed capable of unmaking the very laws of the universe. It was impenetrable to the eye, revealing only a high-level, golden silhouette standing amidst the void.

Bao’er extended her hand, and Chaos, who had been locked in stasis, was suddenly pulled toward her. With a flick of her wrist, she pushed him back toward the safety of Space Garden.

Qin Xiu did not interfere. He merely observed in stoic silence.

“I apologize for the wait, but we can begin our battle now.” Bao’er’s golden gaze locked onto Qin Xiu, each word falling slowly and deliberately from her lips.

Qin Xiu remained silent, hovering effortlessly in the void. He raised a single hand, a beckoning gesture that invited her to strike.

Gnashing her teeth, Bao’er decided against playing fair. She transformed her hand into a blade and unleashed a strike at Qin Xiu. The heavens and earth seemed to bend toward her gesture—it was Han Sen’s 'Under the Sky Knife'.

“Han Sen’s 'Under the Sky Knife'. Your technique is remarkably profound, yet you lack that specific essence because you are but a girl. A knife skill of such caliber is ill-suited for you.” Qin Xiu extended his hand in a dull, unassuming motion. Despite its lack of visible force, the move shattered Bao’er’s technique entirely. Forced to abandon her assault, Bao’er was compelled to switch styles.

Her blade shifted, taking on the piercing, violent nature of fangs. She launched another of Han Sen’s techniques: the 'Teeth Knife'.

“This knife skill is, admittedly, quite interesting, though it is unnecessarily cruel. It does not harmonize with your elemental power or your psyche.” With a wave of his hand, Qin Xiu dismantled the skill while it was still only half-formed.

Bao’er frantically cycled through ten different techniques, yet Qin Xiu effortlessly neutralized every single one. Most of her attacks were stifled before they could even reach their full expression.

“This technique is acceptable, yet it lacks conviction. You could be far more ruthless… This one requires more speed… You must slow down for this one…” Qin Xiu dismantled her offensive with a single hand, casually critiquing every error in her execution.

The confrontation between Qin Xiu and Bao’er felt less like a life-or-death struggle and more like a master tutoring an apprentice.

Qin Xiu purely focused on breaking her skills without launching a counter-attack. Even though Bao’er had reached the Universe-class to stand as his equal, the disparity remained vast; it was akin to a child competing against a seasoned adult.

“What is Qin Xiu attempting to do?” the Light Goddess asked, bewildered by his demeanor.

It was obvious to anyone watching that Qin Xiu was refining Bao’er’s power. Given her potential, she was the type of person who would never repeat a mistake, and by breaking her attacks without killing her, Qin Xiu was unwittingly making her stronger.

“What an arrogant, foolish man,” the Moment God remarked coldly. “He could end this conflict in an instant, yet he chooses to empower his opponent simply for the sake of winning.”

Qin Xiu’s confidence was distinct from the Human King’s, yet this brand of fearless arrogance induced a deeper sense of hopelessness and terror in the onlookers.

Crape Myrtle watched with mounting nerves. Casting a glance toward the evolution wall, he muttered to himself, “Bao’er is still just a child, and she has always relied on Han Sen. Her mental fortitude is not yet fully forged. I fear that only Han Sen, with his absolute control over his physical vessel, can stand against Qin Xiu in this state. Han Sen must hurry. A moment more, and it shall be too late.”

Bao’er had spent her life shadowing Han Sen, who had never kept secrets from her. Save for a few arts that required a ground-up cultivation, she had mastered almost everything he knew. Thus, she could wield nearly every geno art in his arsenal.

Furthermore, she could effortlessly perform the techniques known by Huangfu Jing, the others, and even the skills of the God Spirits.

Yet, before Qin Xiu, no skill mattered. Each one could be broken with a casual gesture. So far, she hadn't managed to complete a single technique, nor had she forced Qin Xiu to shift his position even slightly.

Huangfu Jing, Lin Feng, Tang Zhenliu, Qin Xuan, and the others watched in sweat-drenched silence. Seeing their own skills dismantled so thoroughly was terrifying. If Qin Xiu intended to kill her, she would have fallen long ago.

They had never imagined their own arts harbored such glaring flaws. They had long blamed their own insufficient power, only to realize now that the techniques themselves were riddled with vulnerabilities. It was a miracle of luck that they had survived this long.

Although Bao’er possessed a reservoir of millions of skills, she was rapidly running out. Despite her innate brilliance, she was growing frustrated.

Everyone had proclaimed her to be their only hope against Qin Xiu. Now that the battle was joined, she felt the true, suffocating terror of her adversary.

They were both of Universe-class status, yet Qin Xiu stood before her like a deity, seemingly impossible to defeat.

“Are you contemplating surrender? Are you not the hope of the masses? Your mother, the God Chaos Party Leader, expects you to defeat me. Your friends and kin await my death. Will you truly disappoint them?” Qin Xiu seemed to read her thoughts, and with that, he finally launched an attack.

It was his first strike, yet he mirrored what Bao’er had done moments before, executing her own techniques with perfect precision.

What truly crushed Bao’er was that when she had performed those very techniques, Qin Xiu had pulverized them instantly. Now, against his mirror-performance, she attempted to use his own methods to counter—and failed to break him.

Bao’er felt her body buckle under the immense pressure. Suppressed by Qin Xiu, she was forced to retreat, only to find there was no ground left to stand on.
