Ethan Barnes finished handling his business affairs late at night. He left the study and entered the master bedroom.

The room was illuminated with a dim yellow light, and Celeste Linden along with Danielle were already asleep.

He wasn’t sure whether it was the figures on the bed or the soft lighting that softened his handsome features. He stepped forward, looked at the mother and daughter, and then went into the bathroom to shower.
