Willow Crawford tried on a wedding dress at Morgan Ashworth's request. He seemed moved and almost kissed her, but his fiancée, Vanessa Willowb, witnessed it. Enraged, Vanessa accused Willow of being a homewrecker and threatened to break off the engagement before storming off. Morgan then blamed Willow for the situation and threatened her son's custody if his wedding wasn't completed. Distraught and exhausted, Willow changed out of the dress. Later, she woke to find news that Morgan had set a wedding date.

Next week is an auspicious day, and Morgan Ashworth is going to marry Vanessa Willowb next week.

Willow Crawford froze upon seeing the news. She knew he was going to marry Vanessa Willowb, but she hadn’t expected it to be this soon.

Willow Crawford sat on the bed, heartbroken, unable to pinpoint exactly where the sadness was coming from, just overwhelmingly sad.

He’s going to marry another woman.

Willow Crawford lay back on the bed, covering herself with the quilt.

For several consecutive days, Morgan Ashworth hadn’t called her. She video chatted with her little boy every day, who was unaware of his father’s upcoming wedding, happy during his video calls with mommy.

Looking at her son’s innocent and adorable little face, Willow Crawford felt even more heartbroken.

Usually, Morgan Ashworth would contact her, giving her a hard time, but when there was no news from him for several days, Willow Crawford felt like something was missing in her heart.

What is he doing now? He must be busy with wedding preparations, right?

In a blink of an eye, it was the night before the wedding, and Willow Crawford hadn’t reached out to Morgan Ashworth, but that night she received a call from him.

The night before the wedding, he called her.

Willow Crawford thought for a moment and then pressed the button to answer, "Hello, President Ashworth."

"Where are you now?" His voice carried a hint of fatigue.

"I’m at home."

"Then come downstairs, I’m outside your building."

What?

Willow Crawford stood at the window, opened the curtain, and looked downstairs, indeed seeing a bulletproof luxury car parked on the lawn.

The lights in the car were on, and she could see him sitting in the driver’s seat, his fingers stained with a cigarette.

Willow Crawford’s heart skipped a beat, then she refused, "President Ashworth, if you have something to say, just say it over the phone. I’ve already slept, it’s inconvenient to come down."

Morgan Ashworth snorted lightly over the phone, "What, are you afraid I’ll eat you?"

"No... President Ashworth, you’re getting married tomorrow. It’s inappropriate for us to meet now. Your future bride will surely misunderstand if she finds out."

"Willow Crawford, I’ll wait for you. Hurry up and come down." He impatiently hung up the phone.

Willow Crawford felt that this man was really domineering. She said she didn’t want to go down, and she drew the curtains and lay back in bed.

But she couldn’t sleep no matter how hard she tried. Tossing and turning, Willow Crawford got up, put on a coat, and went out the door.

She walked to the car and knocked on the driver’s window.

Morgan Ashworth lowered the car window, his cold black eyes resting on her, taking a smoky draw, "Why did you come down, not afraid I’ll eat you anymore?"

Willow Crawford tightened the coat around her, "President Ashworth, what do you want to say to me? I think... we can’t maintain this kind of relationship anymore, it’s not right."

"What relationship?" He curved his lips, asking nonchalantly.

Willow Crawford frowned, "The relationship of frequent contact, and..."

Also the relationship of sleeping together.

"I’ve thought about it. You’re getting married tomorrow. As per our previous agreement, let me have our son. You can rest assured, I’ve promised you, I absolutely won’t date anyone, I’ll raise our son."

"From now on, let’s not contact each other except when necessary. Let’s not appear in each other’s lives anymore."

Willow Crawford poured out her heart’s words honestly. She earnestly didn’t want him to appear in her life again, stirring her emotions.

Now she’s increasingly led by her emotions because of him, and seeing him marry Vanessa Willowb makes her even sadder. She doesn’t like this side of herself.
