Morgan confronts Willow about her contraceptive use after they slept together. He states he intends to marry another woman and doesn't want children with Willow. After ordering birth control pills, Morgan secretly has them replaced with vitamins and forces Willow to take them in front of him. He then refuses to let her see her son, Joy, until she returns the next day, implying he expects more from her.

Willow Crawford returned home exhausted, and Serena Sterling was already waiting for her.

"Mommy, why are you here?" Willow walked over and hugged Serena, rubbing against her like a spoiled child.

Serena lovingly patted her head, "Willow, I’m here to see Joy. Why isn’t Joy at home?"

"Uh, Joy was taken by his daddy."

"Oh, so President Ashworth picked him up," Serena said, noticing Willow’s weary expression, "Willow, you weren’t home last night, did you stay over at President Ashworth’s place?"

Willow didn’t hide it and just nodded, "Yeah."

"Are you planning to reconcile with President Ashworth?"

"He won’t reconcile with me. He’s already about to marry that Vanessa Willowb, and he even said he hates me and won’t forgive me," Willow muttered.

Serena furrowed her brows, "Did President Ashworth do something to hurt you?"

Not wanting her mommy to worry, Willow didn’t go into details, and she denied it, "No, he wouldn’t bully me. Mommy, I’m going upstairs to take a bath."

With that, Willow went upstairs.

Serena watched Willow’s departing figure suspiciously, then called the driver in, "You drove Willow to President Ashworth’s residence last night. What happened between them?"

The driver responded immediately, "Madam, I’m not sure about the specifics. Initially, President Ashworth agreed to give custody to Miss Willow, but then he seemed to go back on his word. Last night, he forcibly kept young master Joy there and drove the eldest miss out. I saw her sitting alone outside for a long time before President Ashworth called her back in. President Ashworth is really too much."

Serena listened thoughtfully. In fact, Morgan Ashworth’s actions weren’t hard to understand; he must have done it on purpose, wanting to retaliate against Willow.

Serena knew Willow didn’t want her mother to interfere in her and Morgan Ashworth’s affairs, but if Morgan Ashworth did something extreme, she wouldn’t just stand by.

Serena instructed, "From now on, be Willow’s designated driver. If anything happens, call me immediately."

"Yes, ma’am."

...

Willow took a bath and then received a video chat from her little bundle of joy. Her heart lightened, and she quickly answered, "Joy, did daddy let you video chat with mommy?"

The little bundle pouted with a sad face on the other side, "Yes, mommy. Daddy won’t let me go home with you, only allowing me to video chat with you."

Willow didn’t want her son to get involved in adult conflicts, so she forced a smile to comfort him, "Joy, your daddy just wants you to stay with him for a few days. Don’t worry, mommy will bring you home very soon."

"Really?"

"Of course, it’s true."

The little bundle was comforted and quickly felt better. Willow chatted with him for a while before ending the call.

Her phone rang again soon after, this time it was Morgan Ashworth calling.

She had just returned home, and he was already calling her.

She didn’t dare ignore it, especially with her son in his hands, "Hello, President Ashworth, what can I do for you?"

"Willow, come over quickly."

"Where to?"

"Vanessa and I are going to take wedding photos. Come with us."

What, he’s taking wedding photos with Vanessa Willowb?

If they’re taking photos, so be it, why ask her to go along?

"President Ashworth, I’m a bit busy at the moment and it’s inconvenient for me to come over. If you’re short-staffed, I can send someone to help you."
