Morgan Ashworth orchestrated events to spend the night with Willow Crawford and their son, Joy. Willow discovered his manipulation when Joy revealed his father's plans. As they returned home, Morgan flirted with Vanessa Willowb on speakerphone, catching Willow off guard.

"Morgan, you wouldn’t be secretly dating another woman, would you?" Vanessa asked.

Morgan raised an eyebrow, "How could I? I’m just out with my son. There’s no one else in the car besides me and my son."

Willow was speechless; did she not count as a person?

"Alright then, Morgan, I’ll believe you for now. When are you coming back? Let’s have a candle-lit dinner tonight."

"I should be back tonight. I’ll call you, and I’ll have my secretary reserve us a table."

"Alright, Morgan, love you." Vanessa sent a big kiss over the phone - "mua~".

Morgan hung up the phone.

Having listened to him talk with another woman, Willow’s heart gradually calmed. After what happened last night, she was still considering how they should get along, but his meaning was clear—it was just a one-night stand.

Turns out, he really was a jerk. Yesterday, he sweet-talked his son all for the sake of one night with her.

Willow turned her head to look out the window.

A few hours later, they arrived home. Morgan opened the car door, and Willow got out with her little one.

"Let me take that," Morgan reached out to take the things from her hands.

But Willow swiftly pulled back, indifferent as she said, "President Ashworth has an evening date, I won’t trouble you."

Morgan looked at her and smiled slightly, "What, are you upset?"

"How could I be?"

"That’s best, Willow. Although we were intimate last night, it doesn’t mean anything. I won’t take responsibility, nor reconcile with you."

He continued, "We’re all adults. A night of pleasure is nothing out of the ordinary. You were happy, I was joyful—that’s enough. Just don’t say anything to my fiancée to ruin our relationship."

Willow’s heart turned cold; the slight flutter she felt for him was doused by a cold splash of water. She admitted he was special, strongly attracting her attention, and while being with him, she half-heartedly wanted his closeness.

But those feelings ended here. She glared at him, "President Ashworth, don’t worry, I won’t take last night to heart, nor will I tell your fiancée."

"That’s good," he said as he leaned over, whispering in her ear, "Remember our agreement: You can’t date anyone else. If you need something, just call me. If I have time, I’ll come over."

He was truly despicable!

"President Ashworth, go keep your fiancée company. You don’t need to bother with my affairs!" Saying so, Willow led her little one into the villa.

Morgan watched her graceful figure. He knew she was angry, and he did it on purpose. Three years ago, she abandoned him and their son, and he hated her for it.

He could never want her back, and last night was just his way of taking revenge.

Morgan drove away.

...

The next day, Willow, in the villa with her little one, saw the entertainment headlines. Morgan had a candle-lit dinner with Vanessa. Afterwards, he drove her home and spent four hours in her boudoir, leaving only at dawn.

Their scandal was sensationalized, and their marriage was suddenly back on the agenda.
