Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 977: Primordial Lightning Dragon

Jason turned back around to watch the blue gate forming in the sky. Jason was still countering the storm using his mana, and that gave the researchers in the academy building as well as the civilians around this region a little time to escape before any fighting began, but Jason didn’t know if it would be enough. A battle between Primordials wasn’t something you could escape from at all! If Jason got into a fight here, then no one on this world would be safe!

’I need to make sure it doesn’t get out of that Gate.’

Jason’s eyes narrowed as this thought crossed his mind, and Jason tightened his hand around the Death’s Mirage and prepared himself!

ROARRR!

The Blue Gate finally formed in the sky, and Jason put a hand over his face as the gate began to suck in everything around it as it opened!

ROARR!!

A massive roar echoed from within the gate, and the moment Jason saw what was about to come through that Gate, Jason knew that he could not let it get in here! A large white dragon’s head appeared from within the Gate, and the dragon let out another massive roar that sent a flash of lightning shooting across the sky! It had been a long time since Jason last saw this bastard, but Jason could still remember this particular dragon like he had only seen it yesterday! This was the Primordial Lightning Dragon! The same Dragon that tried to kill Jason multiple times when he was fighting against Hesabeth’s Bias!

The Primordial Lightning Dragon was a Phantasmal Beast that existed within the lightning clouds of any world it found itself in! Since Jason just fought the Primordial Lightning Dragon here in the sixth domain, the Dragon had been sleeping in the lightning clouds of a distant world all this time and waiting for a reason to move again! So once the dragon felt that there was Primordial Essence somewhere close by, it immediately used the lightning clouds to transport itself here!

The dragon roared at Jason again, and Jason immediately formed a black disk under his feet and blasted off towards the dragon!

BOOM!

A massive sonic wave flew across the sky from Jason’s jump, and the lightning dragon opened its mouth and began to form a lightning ball to shoot Jason out of the sky! But Jason activated [Hands of Providence], and he sent hundreds of shadow hands forward! The hands grabbed the dragon’s head and began pushing the dragon back into the gate! The dragon growled in anger as it fought against the hands, and it roared as it tried to force itself forward through the Gate, but Jason didn’t stop! Jason put all his energy into pushing forward, and the combination of Jason’s PRIMORDIAL strength along with the suction force from the Gate was enough to make the dragon start moving back!

The dragon pointed its open mouth at Jason, and it was about to release the lightning attack, but Jason didn’t give it any time to fight back! Once Jason got close enough, he pulled his arm back and unleashed a slash that cut right through the ball of lightning!

KA-BOOM!

The massive lightning ball exploded from the impact and unleashed millions of volts of deadly electricity that spread through the air, but Jason’s charge was just enough to force the dragon to retreat, and both PRIMORDIAL beings vanished into the Blue Gate!

The user has encountered the PHANTASMAL Beast of Lightning and engaged it in combat. In order to complete this mission, the user must defeat the Primordial Lightning Dragon and prevent it from taking the Primordial Corpse in the Northern Alliance Academy.

’My King! Should we come and help you!?’

Azrael’s voice echoed through Jason’s head, and Jason narrowed his eyes up at the massive storm clouds gathering over his head. After pushing the lightning dragon in here, the dragon had retreated temporarily into the clouds, and Jason landed on a cliff attached to a large mountain high above the clouds!

Jason thought about Azrael’s request for a moment! Most of Jason’s powerful Legion subordinates were still back in L’horm since they had been busy taking care of the Jamani Mercenaries, and Azrael was also maintaining the large inter-world travel block that heh aderected! But once Azrael noticed that Jason was fighting against a Primordial, Azrael immediately wanted to leave the shield behind and come help the King! If Jason wanted them to, all the subordinates were prepared to head into the Gate and support Jason! But Jason told them not to do that!

Jason knew that he had a lot of powerful subordinates, but none of them would be useful against a beast like this!

ROARRR!

The Primordial Lightning Dragon let out a loud roar that shook the very earth under Jason’s feet, and Jason saw the massive dragon appearing from the clouds as it showed its full body for the first time ever! The dragon’s body was about three hundred feet long, with its wingspan covering even more than that! When it flapped its massive wings, an intense wind blew across the world, and lightning danced across the sky like it was some sort of higher god! Compared to the dragon’s massive size, Jason’s human size was basically tiny!

There was no way the Legion could keep up with something like this! From what Jason could feel, the Lightning Dragon was also a PRIMORDIAL Rank I, but not only did it have far more Primordial Essence, but its Essence was also a lot purer than what Jason had in his Primordial Heart! Jason’s Essence was only about twelve percent pure, but the Primordial Dragon’s Essence had to be thirty percent pure at least! This meant that the Primordial Dragon was far stronger than what Jason could handle on his own now! If the weaker members of the Legion came to support him, then they would only be a distraction!

DOON!

The Primordial Dragon suddenly unleashed the full force of its mana, and Jason crouched and blasted off the cliff he had been standing on as the storm cloud overhead grew until it was nearly a hurricane! The storm unleashed blasts of yellow lightning across the air, and one of the blasts flew straight towards where Jason had been standing and destroyed the platform! Black wings sprouted from Jason’s back, and Jason used the clouds as cover as he flew around the Primordial Lightning Dragon!

ROARR!!

The dragon roared as it flapped its massive wings and got rid of all the clouds before sending a bolt of yellow lightning straight at Jason!

[Time Dilation]!

Jason knew he couldn’t get hit by that attack, and he immediately used a skill to slow down time and quickly sped up so the lightning would miss him!

Bzzt!

Jason pulled out the Death’s Mirage and charged straight for the dragon! The dragon turned towards Jason and unleashed another bolt of lightning, but Jason dodged that one as well as he kept moving forward! The sky above the dragon darkened immediately as millions of snake-like lightning danced in the sky, and Jason looked up in shock and cursed as he felt an immense amount of power gathering in those clouds! Jason immediately stopped and activated [King’s Substitute], and he vanished and reappeared on a cliff a few miles away from the dragon!

[Rain of Lightning]!

The dragon suddenly activated an AOE skill, and millions of lightning bolts fell from the sky like rain and electrocuted everything around it! The Rook Rank subordinate that Jason had switched places with was completely destroyed by the rain of lightning that struck it from every direction!

The dragon let out another massive roar and flapped its wings as it charged straight for Jason once again!
