Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 968: A Pest Infestation

Jaen’s face turned serious as he continued.
"Listen, the entire reason why I wanted to become the overlord in the first place was because I wanted a way to spread the [Mortal Severance] pills across the sixth domain without having to worry about our work being exploited. I needed the power to protect my academy from anyone who would want to take it from me. But I realised now that my approach was wrong. Even if I had gained the seat of the overlord, I would’ve only been delaying the inevitable. I’m afraid there is something coming for us, Jason...
"For a long time now, we’ve been keeping an eye on the Primordial Veil that surrounds the Primordial Expanse to make sure that none of the Primordial races would try coming to retrieve the dead body. We hadn’t seen anything in centuries, but recently there were reports that the Angel race of Eden sent out a delegation to investigate a tear in the Primordial Veil. The Tear was in the eastern border close to the first domain, but distance doesn’t really matter when you are talking about Primordials. It is close enough for us to believe it might be related to the Primordial Corpse."
There was a look of genuine concern on Jaen’s face, like he could already see what sort of fate would await them if a Primordial decided to come to their world, and he did not like what he was seeing at all! This was the entire reason why Jaen decided to bring Jason into this secret so soon. Jaen already knew that Jason was the strongest being in this domain, and during their conversation, Jaen also learned that Jason was wise enough to be trusted. Telling Jason about the Primordial Corpse would allow him to set the foundation for them to work together in the future while providing a new layer of protection against the Primordial that might be coming for them.
Jason turned to glance at the Primordial Corpse curiously, and he asked:
"Did you notice anything different about the corpse recently? Maybe it’s sending out a signal that can be tracked by the other Primordials."
"We thought about that as well, but lately, we’ve not recorded any signals. If it’s sending out anything, then it’s a frequency that we cannot read. I know we already had a lot to deal with regarding the Jamani, but I think we should prepare for the Primordial before anything else."
"Forget the Jamani. I’ll kill all of them if I need to. Dealing with the Primordial is more important. You said you’ve moved the corpse before, right? How soon can you move it again?"
Jaen was surprised by this question, and he wondered what Jason was planning. The previous times that they moved the Primordial Corpse from one academy to another took them more than a full year, and it took millions of gold coins to craft the runes that allowed them to seal the Primordial’s power so no one could track it!
Jason was still waiting patiently for an answer. It was obvious that Jason wanted to take the Corpse away from here to avoid any major damage to this world, but the main reason Jason wanted to move the Primordial Corpse was because he wanted to take the corpse to a higher-ranked world. L’horm was a Rank III world, so a Primordial appearing here would be able to absolutely demolish everything around it without even trying, but if Jason took the corpse to a Rank IV world, then he would be able to fight the Primordial without worrying about causing too much damage to the world around them.
Jaen finally spoke up after a few seconds.
"I don’t know if it’ll be possible to use our old method to move the corpse. We used a teleportation matrix along with sealing runes to move it across worlds until we reached our destination. But the only reason we were able to do it back then was because the Period of Lawlessness had just been coming to an end and most worlds weren’t paying any attention to us. If we tried moving it again, then there is no way we can hide the corpse from the other worlds out there. We might even be noticed by mages from parallel domains."
Jason frowned when he heard this, and he lowered his head as his mind began to run through the possibilities. Moving the Primordial Corpse was very important. If they allowed a Primordial to come to this world, then there was no chance that anything here would survive. Jason was a Primordial, and the only reason the creatures here weren’t suffering from the pressure of his mana was because Jason was holding his mana back. The Primordial coming here wouldn’t bother holding back their mana at all, and that much Primordial mana would kill everything it touches!
Jason stayed silent for a few long seconds while trying to find a solution, but Jason turned to the side sharply when he received a message from one of his subordinates!
’My king. One of the superhumans has been stabbed by a Jamani mercenary!’
Jason’s vision quickly switched using the [Eye of the King], and Jason saw one of his bishops using its [Healing Aura] to save the life of a superhuman that had been stabbed. Opposite the superhuman was a man wearing a black outfit, and the man was laughing in amusement as he turned and ran away from the scene! Jason felt something snap inside him.
’That does it. I’m going to kill every single one of them.’
Jason began walking out of the room, and Jaen spoke up quickly.
"Lord Jason! Where are you going?"
"I’ll be back soon. Just keep thinking of how we can move that corpse. I need to deal with a pest infestation."
Jason left the room, and Jaen could tell in that moment that the Jamani were not going to survive this!
....
Things had gone south faster than anyone could predict. The superhuman who had been stabbed never expected that something like that would happen, and even if he expected it, it had happened so quickly that it was impossible for him to avoid it. It all began while the superhuman was carrying out the inspection like he was ordered to. At the door leading into one of the castle rooms, the man saw a little girl that couldn’t have been older than ten. She had black hair and dark eyes, and she was sitting on the floor with a miserable look on her face, like she had gotten lost and she didn’t know how to get back to her parents.
The man walked towards the little girl with a pitying look, and he asked her what was wrong.
"Are you lost kid? Do you need help?"
The girl didn’t say anything, and she looked at the man with a distrustful look on her face. The man put his hand out towards the girl, but the girl quickly recoiled, and she moved back in fear before she stammered.
"P-Please don’t hurt me."
"I won’t hurt you, I promise. I want to help you."
The man smiled, and the girl sniffled.
"A-Are you sure you’re not a bad man? Mummy told me not to talk to bad men."
"I’m not a bad man. I’m a friend."
The man put his hand out towards the girl again, and the girl hesitated for a moment before she slowly began to reach out for it. Once the girl grabbed his hand, the man’s face lit up in a smile.
"See, I’m not a bad man."
The girl nodded with her lips widening into a smile. The man was about to ask her what her name was, but he didn’t expect the girl to suddenly put her other hand over his face and begin laughing!
