Queen Phina reveals the King's cruelty and her tragic love for his brother, Prince Makin, whom the King exiled. Makin returned with mercenaries, forcing the King to flee, and Phina was dragged along. Jason, bound by a world condition to speak only truth, promises to protect Phina and liberate L'horm from the King's tyranny, finding a legitimate reason to intervene.

After returning to the real world, Jason told Phina to keep their conversation a secret, and he vanished from the room and returned to meet Vanix. This time, rather than simple irritation, Jason felt a deep anger in his heart when he saw Vanix, and it took considerable effort for Jason not to kill the man. Anyone who would allow jealousy and hatred to push them to destroy their own family like Vanix didn’t deserve to live!

But Jason reined in his anger, and he spoke to Vanix calmly.

"I’ll be leaving for L’horm in a few hours to deal with this. Before we go, is there anything else you want to tell me about this situation?"

Vanix was drinking a cup of tea that he had been given by one of the Monarch Guild workers, and he responded in a hard tone!

"What more can I say about this? I already told you everything you need to know. My throne was taken from me by that usurper, and I demand it be returned to me."

Jason hummed calmly.

"Very well then. I’ll head towards L’horm to deal with this, and you will remain here on Earth until the issue is dealt with completely. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to get caught up in the middle of a battle."

Vanix frowned slightly when he heard Jason say that he would have to stay on Earth, but once Jason said that there would be a battle, Vanix’s face paled slightly, and he decided that this might be for the best. The King does not need to be on the front lines after all!

"Very well then. I will accept your gracious offer of asylum. But I implore you to leave my traitorous brother alive for me to see his despair with my own two eyes. He dares to take from me what was my birthright, and I will be the one to drive the sword through his chest for that disrespect."

Vanix raised a fist dramatically while staring at Jason with intensity, and Jason just hummed before he turned and called on a subordinate! Alpha rose from the shadows and bowed to Jason obediently, and Jason told Vanix to follow Alpha.

"She will take you to your chambers so you can freshen up and have some rest. I’ll ensure you receive news about your world as soon as possible."

Vanix nodded pompously while looking towards Alpha with interest. Even though she was basically a living soul, Alpha still had a very attractive appearance, so Vanix could appreciate her beauty. Vanix told Alpha to lead him forward, and the two of them left the room together! Jason just huffed, and he left the room to meet with Stragga and the team he had assembled!

The team that would be going with Jason was made up of three superhumans who had all reached the TITAN Rank I level. The three superhumans were part of the group that had gone with Jason into the Blue Gate, and they were all obviously excited to be going to another world for the first time! But Jason made sure to remind them that they weren’t going on an excursion. This was an important mission, and they couldn’t make any mistakes when they went out there! The superhumans all nodded as they became serious once more, and Jason finally told them to come with him.

Jason made his way towards the inter-world travel room, and he saw that Cerci and Juliet were still waiting there for him. Jason told the superhumans to get ready to leave as he went to speak to Cerci.

"Are you going to be gone for long?"

This was the only question Cerci asked, and Jason said he wouldn’t.

"It shouldn’t take more than two days to deal with this. I already have an idea of what’s going on, but I want to speak to the King’s brother and see what sort of person he is. In the meantime, keep Queen Phina away from the King and guards. If he asks about her, then come up with some excuse for her being kept separate. I’ll come for them when I need them later."

Cerci nodded, and Jason gave Juliet a short hug before he said he would be back. Jason waved the superhumans forward, and they all made their way towards the platform in the center of the room. The agent activated the rune, and the entire platform glowed with a blue light before a massive Dimensional Tear opened in the air, and the superhumans followed Jason through.

....

[An Unknown World]

[The Edge of the Primordial Expanse – Just Outside the Primordial Veil]

A Dimensional Tear opened across the air at the top of a large canyon in the middle of a massive desert of black sand, and a figure stepped out calmly. The man was wearing a full set of regal armor that made him look like a general in a powerful army, and his long white hair flowed with the dry wind and contrasted perfectly against the black sand. The man took in a long breath, and he enjoyed the smell of the cold wind flowing through the desert before he let it out calmly.

"You would’ve loved this scent, Tre’asan. If only you were still here. I wonder if you would approve of what I am doing."

A feeling of sadness seemed to come over the man for a moment as his features fell slightly, but it wasn’t long before he got rid of that feeling and his face hardened once again as he slowly floated off the ground! There was no time to feel sorry for himself right now. He had already mourned his family for long enough. This was the time for action!

This man was Sair Carysl O’thysae, a member of a distant world forgotten to both time and history, but he had given up his family name a long time ago, and now he was known only as Sicario.

Sicario flew across the black desert quickly as he made his way past the dunes and oasis before heading towards an Amazon-like forest outside the desert. This forest was made up of some of the most exotic-looking plants in existence. There were red trees with massive branches that covered miles of land in every direction. Purple trees whose roots grew along the ground like tentacles and would lash out to capture and swallow any animal that dared to come too close. Large yellow rivers that looked like they were full of poison and animals that lurked in the dark like assassins roamed the forest freely. But Sicario ignored all of that, and he made his way towards a large mountain in the distance.

The mountain towered over the forest, and it had a cave that barely received any light at all carved into its side. That cave had served as the hideout for two of the most dangerous individuals in the Primordial Expanse for the past few years, and right now, Sicario was planning to meet with them.

The moment Sicario landed on the cliff edge leading into the cave, he felt a rune activate under his feet, and in the next moment, a wave of mana washed over him like water. The mana was oppressive enough to make the powerful Sicario grunt slightly in exertion, and Sicario looked down at his hand in shock to realise that his magical power had been suppressed to barely ten percent of what it had once been!

’Not just my magic. Even my physical power.’

Sicario was shocked to realise that it wasn’t just his magic! Every single power he wielded had been suppressed to barely ten percent of what it had been just a few seconds ago, and the only ability that he still felt at its full potential was the Arcane Art floating within his body.
