"So this ’five-star’ restaurant. You’re saying it is the best in your kingdom?"

Fiona spoke up with a curious tone as she turned to Mira, and Mira laughed lightly as she told Fiona that their country wasn’t a kingdom.

"We’re a democracy, not a monarchy. But yes, the restaurant is one of the best in the country."

"And how do they determine that?"

Fiona tilted her head in curiosity as she asked this, and Mira paused for a moment as she thought about whether or not she should say anything about how restaurants get their stars, but Mira decided it was better to just tell Fiona, and she spoke:

"A car tire company goes around various restaurants and rates them based on how good their service is."

Fiona immediately blinked in suspicion when she heard this. Fiona already knew what a car was, and she knew what a tire was, but she was trying desperately to find the relationship between a car, tires, and food. How in the world was a car tire company judging the best places to eat in a country?

Mira noticed the confusion on Fiona’s face, and she spent the next few minutes explaining the concept of Michelin stars and how they came to be. By the time Mira was finishing her explanation, Fiona looked absolutely fascinated!

"You humans come up with the most convoluted concepts."

Mira and Betsha both laughed at Fiona’s words, and Jason watched them for a moment before he turned to Gina as she spoke through their mental link.

’I wish Riyala and Hesbeath were here too.’

Jason hummed with a small smile. Jason had actually wanted to invite Riyala and Hesbeath for the meal, but the two of them were currently in the middle of their first trade deal, and they needed to be there for when the product arrives. Riyala had already been really worried about this trade deal, and she didn’t want to do anything else until she was sure that it was successful, and Hesbeath said that her closest advisor was making sure she didn’t go anywhere since she had missed a lot of work during her time in Morive’s paradise.

Hesbeath’s bias usually allowed her kingdom to prosper no matter what, but in order for her bias to work, Hesbeath had to be present in the world. So Hesbeath had to stay back and make sure the trade deals were finished before she left again.

’Don’t worry, we’ll see them when they aren’t so busy. Haven’t you three been planning an outing recently?’

Gina’s face bloomed happily when Jason said this, and she nodded quickly! Hesbeath, Gina, and Riyala have been sending messages back and forth between themselves using Jason’s subordinates, and they were all planning a vacation together! Gina and Jason would be getting married at the end of this month, and right after that, Gina would start to really prepare for when the baby gets here, so this was also going to be like a baby shower!

’Hesbeath wants all of us to come to her world for the vacation. There’s this town with a large private hot spring in the mountains, and she says she’ll rent out the entire town for us. Riyala is bringing some of the female soldiers from her world, and they said I can bring any of my female friends too. It’ll be really fun.’

Jason smiled, and he leaned down to kiss Gina’s excited smile. Jason was glad that his three girls were getting along so well. After hearing everything about his father’s first wife and all the trouble she caused, Jason knew that family problems could arise at any moment for the most unknown reasons. All it would take was one bad moment between his wives for the entire family dynamics to be thrown into disarray! But Jason also knew that his girls wouldn’t end up like his father’s wives. Jason’s father’s first wife was chosen for him by Jason’s grandfather, and that was the reason why she was so different from all the other wives. Even the message that Richard had sent to Jason through the [Book of the Apocalypse] spoke about how Jason needed to be careful while choosing his wives so they don’t end up like his stepmothers!

Jason knew that Gina was the one who held the most love in his heart, and that meant she was the only person who could cause the most problems if she ever became jealous or vengeful. But Jason knew Gina better than anyone, and he was sure she wouldn’t become like his father’s first wife. If Gina had any worries, she would definitely speak to him first!

’This is good! Since your women will be away, we can finally continue with your training! You’ve been neglecting my instructions recently and spending all your time having intercourse like an animal! You young children these days are far too vigorous!’

Esdath’s voice suddenly echoed through Jason’s mind, and Jason told the old bastard to shut up! Esdath had already been suggesting a trip to the Eastern Mountains for a long time now to try and finally unlock Jason’s Qi Element. Apparently, Jason’s Qi training wouldn’t be complete without him acquiring a technique and unlocking his element, and the best place to do those two things was at the Eastern Mountains in Esdath’s world for cultivation!

The major reason why Jason hadn’t gone on that journey yet was because he was just far too busy, so now that he would be getting some time away from his girls and his duties, Esdath wanted to take advantage of that! Jason didn’t mind going to Esdath’s world, but Jason didn’t know if he would have the time for something like that. There was just way too much going on around this domain, and Jason wanted to deal with all of that before taking a trip into another domain.

Jason shook his head, and he decided he would think about that some other time! Right now, Jason was trying to spend some time with his family before his stepmothers had to go back to their own worlds, and Jason wasn’t going to let thoughts of training or duty distract him!

The limousine pulled into a lavish street that had multiple high-class buildings on either side. Up in the distance, the bright lights of the Seraphina restaurant lit up the night sky! There was a long red carpet lined outside the building with multiple chauffeurs directing the incoming guests on where to go, but the moment one of the chauffeurs saw the limousine with an ’M’ logo coming towards them, they quickly signaled to everyone that the Marc family had arrived!

"Get into position. Move all guest cars out of the way and get into positions now."

The head chauffeur brought his hand up and spoke into a mic attached to his wrist with an anxious look on his face! The other chauffeurs immediately began to move, and they formed a straight line on either side of the red carpet! The other guests who were trying to enter the restaurant were being led away from the red carpet, and many of them decided to stay back and see who exactly it was that the chauffeurs were going so crazy for! By the time their eyes landed on the ’M’ logo on the car, they all felt their eyes widen!

’It’s Monarch! This belongs to the Marc family!’

"Jason Marc is here!?"

"Hold on, let’s not go in yet; I want to see him!"

The rich patrons were slowly starting to form a crowd in front of the restaurant, and the only thing that stopped them from screaming and cheering wildly was the fact that they were members of high society!
