Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 928: Unexpected Visitors
"Grit your teeth. This is going to burn."
Jason slammed his palm into Valaha’s chest, and Valaha grunted in pain as a rune began to carve itself into his body! Multiple chains snaked their way around Valaha’s chest and pierced through his skin before wrapping around his heart in a tight grip! This was the same [Binding Chain] rune that Jason had put on Cercei a long time ago, and now that Jason had used it on Valaha as well, Jason had ensured Valaha’s eternal loyalty.
....
Jason returned to Radagan after he was done dealing with Valaha, and he saw that Riyala had prepared a feast of roasted salamander for him. Jason had sent a few Rook Rank subordinates with Valaha to get the information that he needed, and Jason planned to look into the Jamani group later to see what sort of organisation they really were. In truth, Jason had actually been looking forward to getting something like this. Most of Jason’s knowledge about the Primordial Expanse came from Cercei and the system, and even though they could tell Jason a lot, there were still many things hidden in the shadows that Jason didn’t know about. The information Jason had gotten from the Machina was also lacking since Rubik didn’t bother investigating any mercenary organisations.
Jason needed someone who could help him keep an eye out for enemies that don’t reveal themselves easily, and if Jason had to choose, then he knew that the Drakan Mercenaries were the right choice. The Drakan were popular enough that Jason had heard about them before, and even though they weren’t the strongest mercenary group, they still had enough influence to be regarded as one of the largest groups in the Primordial Expanse. Having them under his thumb would give him an advantage that money couldn’t buy.
"You look really satisfied. Did your meeting go well?"
Riyala easily noticed the look on Jason’s face, and Jason hummed and told Riyala that the meeting went really well.
"It was a mercenary looking to strike a deal with me. I think we both got what we needed."
"Oh? I actually heard there was a mercenary group blocking the Tirani pathway leading to the seventh domain. Do you think they’re related?"
"Most likely. Were they preventing you from moving your dragonstone?"
Riyala nodded.
"Yes. The transporters had to use a different path that’s a bit longer to ensure the product gets to Hesabeth safely."
Jason frowned once he heard this, and Jason immediately knew that the Drakan were responsible for this. Jason felt a bit of anger rising through his body towards the Drakan, but Jason decided to let this one go for now, and he told Riyala that she didn’t have to worry about that anymore.
"I’ve dealt with the mercenaries, so you don’t need to worry about them. You can use the Tirani pathway anytime you want."
Riyala smiled happily, and she leaned forward and gave Jason a kiss.
"Thanks, baby."
The rest of breakfast was spent talking about random things they were planning to do that day, as well as what they would be doing in the future. Jason already told Riyala about the white-haired Mind Arts user and how dangerous he was, and Jason made her promise to escape if she ever came face to face with him. Riyala promised easily, and she told Jason to be careful with a worried look on her face.
"I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with powers like that. I know you can handle him just fine, but please be safe."
Jason nodded.
"I will."
After spending time with Riyala, Jason had taken a few more hours to go and meet with the King and other nobles of Radagan who had been looking forward to seeing him. Jason was a Radagan ambassador, so it would’ve been a bit rude for him to leave without at least saying hello. The King made Jason’s visit into a grand spectacle and welcomed him with rows of guards and soldiers, while announcing a feat for all the nobles! But Riyala managed to calm things down quickly enough, and she made sure that the nobles didn’t take up too much of Jason’s time since Jason had to leave. It took about an hour for Jason to finish with his greetings, and once he was done, he said goodbye to Riyala and finally left Radagan.

[Monarch Guild Branch in Riverdale]
Jason arrived in Riverdale without any prior warning, and he appeared in a large transportation room through the interworld travel rune. The room was filled with multiple Gaia and Monarch guild agents who were all working on logistics plans for the first shipment of Aqualith that they would be sending out soon, and everyone in the room paused in shock when they saw Jason appearing in their midst!
"Lord Jason!"
"It’s the Overlord!"
All the agents immediately began to murmur amongst themselves, and Jason raised his hand in greeting as he walked out of the transporter and began making his way into the main guild building. Jason passed a few more agents who quickly moved away from his path and bowed respectfully once they saw him, and Jason just waved nonchalantly to tell them to get on with their day! Jason was currently heading towards Juliet’s office since he wanted to ask her about the gate raids and how quickly the superhumans were growing. But Jason was surprised when he sensed Juliet running towards his direction from around the corner!
Jason turned the corner and caught Juliet before she could crash into him, and Jason furrowed his brow when he saw Juliet’s disheveled and panicked state! Juliet looked like she had run a marathon to reach him as quickly as possible, and Jason’s mind began to spin with many possible scenarios that would make Juliet look so tense!
"Whoa, relax. Try to breathe and tell me what’s going on. Did another city get attacked?"
Jason asked this question worriedly, but Juliet shook her head, and she looked even more panicked as she finally spoke.
"I-It’s not an attack. There... there are visitors who came this morning looking for you. They looked really important, and when we asked them for their identity, they said they were your extended family. Your stepmothers and half-siblings."
Jason blinked in shock, and he immediately asked Juliet where they were!
"We called Gina, and she recognized one of them as someone you met on your travels. Someone named Bethsha. Gina told us to bring them to the mansion. I think she’s receiving them now."
Gina was staying in Jason’s mansion along with his mother and sisters. Since Jason’s mansion was the most protected place in the world, they all decided that it would be the best place to stay until the problem with the Machina was fully dealt with. Jason thanked Juliet for her help, and he told her to wait for him to contact her later before he suddenly vanished in a [King’s Substitute].
....
[The Marc Mansion]
The past few hours had been some of the most nerve-wracking of Gina’s young life! Gina woke up this morning feeling happy since she knew that Jason would be coming back today. Gina’s belly was slowly starting to show since it was nearing four months into her pregnancy, and both Stella and Mira no longer allowed Gina to do any sort of work around the house. Stella had taken over the house chores, and Mira spent almost every second of the day doting on Gina like Gina was a little kitten that needed to be taken care of all the time! Gina loved Mira for always being there for her, but sometimes she could get suffocated by Mira’s constant pestering, and Gina couldn’t wait for Jason to return since he was the one person she really wanted to spend time with right now.
