Yet the Valkan had vanished already, materializing behind to body-slam Farlow flying! He crashed into a tree trunk, and Gina charged as the beast parted its jaws, unveiling inner blue glow! A swirling blue energy vortex built at its maw, Farlow's eyes bulging as the Valkan abruptly fired!

Right as the Valkan launched its blast, Gina hammered its flank with a mighty wind gust, veering the shot off-target; Farlow stared wide-eyed while the beam obliterated the forest next to him!

Farlow gripped the Elven Royal treasure [Wind Shear], heirloom of Arandelle's kings for over ten thousand years! It siphoned the wielder's wind energy, expelling it as a vibrating wind layer encasing the blade in ultra-sharp form! Forged from rare Virite metal! Virite conducted magic superbly yet stood as one of the Primordial Expanse's hardest, impossible to hone! Instead of futile sharpening, they crafted the blunt sword, empowering it to generate its edge via the user's magic! As the Expanse's premier metal, the Virite blade symbolized glory and dominance for the Elven Royal family!

[Wind Shear] in right hand, Farlow barreled at the Valkan, left parrying its claw assault! Three wind blades the beast hurled, but Farlow dodged them gracefully, dropping low and charging on! Seeing ranged hits fail, the Valkan rushed and pounced—but Farlow predicted it, wind-propelling himself skyward! He twisted between its razor claws, then swung [Wind Shear]!

Slash!

Pain seared as Farlow's blade sliced deep into the Valkan's left flank, drawing a wrathful roar! Shock hit the beast—scratching its hide took exceptional arms! Forest's top Spirit and TITAN Rank I monster, it shrugged off most weapons! Energy flared behind it; whirling, it spotted Gina crouched on a tree branch, ready to leap! Palms outward, colossal spinning wind blades gripped, she launched at the airborne foe with sonic-boom force!

Gina blazed through the sky beyond the Valkan's dodge, her wind blade ripping into neck and shoulder for a brutal gash amplifying its screams! Landing a hundred meters off, she spun to check for a kill—but eyes narrowed in dismay as the Valkan stood firm! Neck and shoulder bore huge rends from her hit, stomach slashed by Farlow, yet it endured!

Astonished by so many gashes in mere moments, the Valkan reeled! Farlow's wound shocked it plenty, but Gina's strike was utterly unforeseen!
