Jason and Agiel faced the Celestial of Death, a childlike entity who saw the Celestial Hunt as a game. To survive, Jason agreed to play with the boy, hoping to understand him better for a potential future attack. Meanwhile, the Celestial Cloud stopped advancing, buying time for evacuations. However, alarming news emerged of worlds vanishing without a trace.

Although the situation in the first domain seemed serious, Kalum couldn’t pay much attention to it since his mind was completely preoccupied with the Celestial of Death and whether or not Jason and Agiel could stop it. Eventually, the council decided that they would send out a task force of their strongest soldiers to try and find out what was happening. The task force would only go and observe to see if there was any correlation between the three worlds that vanished, and they would try to find out who was responsible for it!

That piece of news had faded into the background for Kalum just as quickly as it had come, and Kalum didn’t seem to care about what they would find over there. But the next piece of news that appeared had shocked Kalum far more than the disappearance of the worlds!

Angel Mik’hael, the brother of Angel Rak’hael, had been attacked during his expedition towards the Primordial Veil. Everyone in Mik’hael’s army was killed, and Mik’hael was currently in a coma! This was one of the most shocking pieces of news Kalum had ever heard in his life! Everyone in the Primordial Expanse knew just how powerful Mik’hael was! He was one of the most famous warriors from the Period of Lawlessness, and it was nearly impossible for anyone to stand up to his might! If not for his rash and unpredictable nature, he would’ve been on the Council of Overlords as well! But that unpredictable and rash nature had actually made Mik’hael even stronger, so how could someone like him end up being put in a coma!?

There were no witnesses to the battle that occurred, so there was no one who could tell them who was responsible for this, but the fact that the battle occurred around the Primordial Veil told the Council members that this might be the work of Primordials who were trying to break through the Veil! Angel Rak’hael had been absolutely devastated by her brother’s state, and she had immediately set up an armed force made up of some of the strongest soldiers in the Angel race and headed straight for the region of the Primordial Veil where she believed her brother had been attacked! But when she arrived there, Rak’hael was stunned to realise that the Primordial Veil was completely fine! There was no tear, and no PRIMORDIALs had broken through the veil. Rak’hael went to the world where the Angels had been attacked, and it was obvious that a massive battle had taken place there. The entire world had been ravaged with the scars of war, and there were billions of people who had been killed!

Rak’hael realised in that moment that her brother hadn’t been attacked by someone from the Primordial Zone. He had been attacked by something in the Primordial Expanse! Was there anyone in the Primordial Expanse with the power to cause so much damage to her brother? What sort of monster could do something like this!?

That news had shaken the Primordial Expanse for multiple days, and even Kalum had been very tense for a long time as he waited to see if there would be any sort of reaction from the Primordial Veil. But after a few days passed with nothing happening, Kalum had turned his attention back towards the Celestial Cloud, and he continued to watch and see if Jason and Agiel would return. At this point, close to three weeks had passed in the real world, and Rak’hael hadn’t been to any of the Council meetings because she was busy taking care of her brother. Although the Angels had some of the most potent healing spells in the entire Primordial Expanse, none of them seemed to be working on Mik’hael, and he was still unconscious even now.

But finally, after close to three weeks without any reaction from the Celestial Cloud, Kalum got news that something new was happening! The Celestial Cloud had begun moving again!

.....

[Within the Celestial Cloud]

[A Few Days After Jason Met the Celestial of Death]

Time within the Celestial Cloud moved very differently compared to the time in the real world. For the people outside, it seemed like three long weeks had passed since Jason and Agiel went into the cloud, but for Jason and Agiel, it had only been a few days since they entered the cloud and encountered the Celestial of Death. But for now, Jason and Agiel had no idea of how long they had actually spent inside here, and they were instead focused on trying to understand the strange little boy that turned out to be the Celestial of Death himself.

Things had started off very strangely at first. The boy had asked to play a game called ’house’ where each person was meant to pick out a region as their house and defend it from the other two people. But after Jason and Agiel told the boy that they couldn’t leave each other’s side, the boy understood, and he instead brought up a new game where they had to try guessing various numbers based on questions that they asked one another! It was such a normal thing for Jason to do, and Jason actually began to wonder if there was some sort of trick being played on them! It seemed as though the boy was making them put their guard down by pretending to play games, but Jason knew that this theory didn’t make sense.

Everything that the boy did was absolutely normal, and there was no deceit at all in his actions! After the first two days inside the cloud, Agiel became very exhausted since she hadn’t slept for more than three days at that point, so she needed to put her head down for a while. Jason was sitting beside Agiel and watched her sleep with her head on his lap, and the little boy had been floating around and asking Jason random questions about where he was from and who he was!

Jason answered the questions easily enough, and he told the boy the story of his life. The boy became very obsessed with hearing about Jason’s journey across the Primordial Expanse, and Jason actually had to give the boy every detail before he was satisfied.

In turn, Jason asked the little boy to tell him his own story, and the boy spoke up with an air of excitement around him! The boy started off by telling Jason that he was trying to find his mom and dad! The boy had been separated from them a while ago, and since they lived in the first domain, he was making his way over there so he could reunite with them! After that, the boy told Jason about the dark cloud that had been growing out of his body all this time and following him around. The boy came from a world where their hair was part of their magic, and Jason figured that the boy’s Celestial magic must’ve interfered with his innate magic to create this Celestial Cloud.

’So that’s what this is. It isn’t a cloud. It’s magical hair. Is that why he can control it so well?’

Jason had this thought with narrowed eyes, and Jason listened attentively as the little boy spoke about how bored he was all alone in here, and how anytime he tried to invite somebody inside the cloud to come and play with him, the person would end up lifeless!

Jason realised in that moment that this little boy, who was treated as a disaster by the entire Primordial Expanse, didn’t even know that he was a disaster. The boy just believed he was a normal kid moving around to look for his parents, and he had no idea that his power was causing the deaths!
