Jason successfully evacuated hundreds of thousands of Vympirs into his alternate dimension to escape the Celestial of Death. He then departed with Lamina for Lunaris, leaving their home world behind. Meanwhile, on Radagan, Priestess Riyala learned the Celestial of Death was nearing their domain and that evacuation plans were underway. However, she faced a new challenge as free dragons refused to evacuate their ancestral home, prompting Riyala to personally intervene.

"Shhhh~"

Riyala calmed the dragon down with just a sound, and the dragon shook his head a few times as his anger slowly began to fade away before he brought his head forward and allowed Riyala to pet it gently. Riyala pressed her forehead against the dragon, and she hugged it close while speaking in a calm tone.

"Calm down. We just want to help you. Something is coming. Something dangerous. If you stay here, you and your family will all be killed. We must leave for a safer world."

GRUMBLE~!

The dragon let out a deep rumbling sound from its chest, and Riyala smiled sadly as she understood. The dragon was reluctant to leave this forest because this was where it grew up and also where it was raising its children. The dragon thought that it was powerful enough to handle any enemy that came to harm its family. But Riyala knew that this was one enemy that no one could hope to defeat!

"I’m sorry, little one. But you cannot defeat this enemy. I order you as your priestess and the highest authority in your colony. Gather your family and the families of all the other dragons and prepare them to evacuate this world. No one else will enter this forest while you get ready. I swear it."

The dragon let out another low grumble in annoyance when it heard this, but now that Riyala had used her authority as the priestess, the dragon no longer had a choice but to obey. The dragon pushed Riyala’s forehead with its own to show that it was not happy, and Riyala hugged it closer and apologised for what was happening. Finally, after a few more seconds of hesitation, the dragon grunted and turned around before letting out a roar toward the other male dragons!

All the males understood what the dragon was telling them to do, and they all moved into the forest to go and prepare the females and children to leave this world behind! The soldiers behind Riyala came forward and thanked her for her help, and Riyala just told them that it was fine. Some of the soldiers were injured from the dragon’s attack, so Riyala told them to go and see the healers in the city, while the others should go and continue the evacuation procedure so they could leave as quickly as possible!

[Earth]

[Jason’s Mansion]

The Marc mansion was completely filled with people for the first time ever! Even though the mansion was large enough to accommodate more than twenty people without any issues, Jason had never had to use it to its full capacity since he and Gina were usually the only people there! But now, Jason and Gina’s families were both spending time in the mansion together. The adults all had a solemn air about them since they knew exactly what was coming for them, but the children did not really know what was going on, so they were still playing freely since they believed that they were simply on vacation!

"Are you sure we shouldn’t evacuate either? I heard that nearly sixty percent of the world already started evacuating."

Gina’s mother, Bett, spoke up in worry while sitting outside with Jason’s mother, Mira, and Mira just waved Bett’s worries away nonchalantly.

"You don’t need to worry about that. Jason said he was working on evacuating everyone else first, so we can trust him. I’m sure he’ll be here to help us if we ever need it. Besides, I don’t think this disaster will reach Earth at all."

Bett frowned slightly when she heard the sheer confidence in Mira’s tone, and Bett asked Mira how she could be so sure!

"Did you not hear what Stella said earlier? She said this disaster is like a cloud of death. The moment it touches you, you’ll die. That’s not the sort of thing anyone can stop."

Mira hummed with a small knowing smile on her face, and she shrugged and spoke with a lot of confidence!

"I just don’t think it will matter, honestly. Jason has dealt with far worse before, and he came out just fine. I do not like my son being in such dangerous situations, but he is just like his father, a very dependable person. If anyone can stop this madness, then it is him."

Bett was stunned to see the sheer confidence on Mira’s face! This wasn’t some misplaced ego or pointless boasting! Right now, Mira was showing an absolute belief in the abilities of her own son, and she was practically saying that Jason could save them even if all the odds were stacked against him! Bett couldn’t help but smile when Mira was done talking, and Bett let out a calm breath and relaxed once again. If Mira had so much confidence in her son, then Bett decided that she would also trust her son-in-law!

"Hey, don’t hog the bathroom! I need to pee!"

"Go use the one upstairs! There’s like five bathrooms in the mansion!"

"I can’t go upstairs! I’m about to burst! Mom!"

Bett heard a loud voice echo from inside the mansion, and she simply did her best to ignore her troublesome children! Jason’s mansion was the largest building that the family had ever stayed in! It was even larger than their entire barn house back in Texas! But since there were so many people in one space, it was obvious that they would get into a number of fights, and Bett had already gotten tired of splitting them up, so she decided to just let them fight until they were tired!

But all of a sudden, another loud voice called out from one of the rooms upstairs!

"STELLA!"

Both Bett and Mira looked up to see Valeria leaning out from the window while searching for Stella! Valeria saw the two mothers, and she quickly asked them if they had seen Stella!

"Dear, what is going on?"

Mira spoke up kindly. Although Mira had been surprised when she first saw Valeria, Mira had immediately known that Valeria was one of her stepchildren since she could see the resemblance between her and Richard. But Mira had been keeping a close eye on Valeria all this time because Valeria had a bad habit of trying to make bets with the other children in the house! And the bets weren’t even about things that were worthwhile! Valeria would bet to see whether a man or woman would be the first to come out of the house, or she would bet on whether the next bird that passed by would go towards the east or west! Absolutely meaningless bets!

Mira immediately knew that this poor girl had a terrible gambling problem, and Mira warned all the other children not to indulge Valeria in any of her bets!

But other than the gambling problem, Valeria was a pleasant guest and a nice person who helped out whenever she could. Valeria’s days were mostly spent staying with her unconscious brother, Harold, and waiting for him to wake up. So the fact that Valeria was screaming so much right now told Mira that something had likely happened with Harold!

Stella stepped out from the kitchen where she had been making dinner, and she wiped her hands on her apron while moving outside to look up at Valeria.

"Is everything okay, ma’am?"

Valeria immediately spoke loudly.

"You need to contact Jason! Harold just woke up, and he wants to talk to Jason about the Celestial of Death!"

Stella’s eyes widened, and she immediately nodded to say she understood! Stella went to send the message, and Valeria let out a relieved sigh as she went back inside, and she saw Harold sitting on the bed with his back against the wall.
