Strongest Necromancer Of Heaven's Gate Chapter 1226 After Story: Fishing Trip With The In-Laws
Eiko let out a cheerful hum while she, Fei Fei, and Dim Dim clutched small fishing poles.
The trio of mischief-makers sat on Lux's right, with the Half-Elf gripping his own fishing rod.
A full month had passed since their adventure on Earth, and the three had thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
Lux had brought them to amusement parks, shown them movies, let them play games, and indulged in all sorts of fun activities they could imagine.
Luna served as their guide, leading them to spots she'd always longed to visit. Yet, she'd been unable to before due to the deep sorrow from losing her beloved grandparents and sister.
Every few days, Lux headed back to Elysium to check that everything remained trouble-free in his absence.
That's when King Azza located him and extended an invitation for a fishing outing, which the Half-Elf happily agreed to. On his left sat King Azza himself, with Keoza positioned next to the Dragon King.
Beside Keoza was Aina's father, King Victor.
They all held fishing poles in their grasps.
The group perched on a seaside cliff, gazing out over the waves. Three hundred meters off, the women lounged on picnic blankets, engaged in lively chatter.
None suspected that this fishing excursion was originally meant to turn Lux into fish bait, making him vanish in a supposed accident.
At least, that had been the scheme back then.
This spot teemed with Empyrean-Ranked Sea Monsters, where any Low Ranker could swiftly end up as monster chow. However, the Half-Elf was no longer that frail pushover from before. Now, Empyrean-Ranked beasts served as his meals, so he figured this trip was his fathers-in-law's way to strengthen their family ties.
The two Dragon Kings wore inscrutable expressions, as the Dwarf King puzzled over his inclusion in this outing.
Just the three little rascals appeared thrilled by their debut fishing adventure, eagerly anticipating their first catches.
Meanwhile, Deimos, Argonaut, and Empyrean-Ranked Sea Monsters had all fled the vicinity upon detecting the mighty auras of these fishermen come to hunt them.
Only the lesser monsters, too naive to gauge true power levels, lingered behind.
One such creature chomped Eiko's bait and yanked fiercely, aiming to drag the Baby Slime off the cliff for a tasty starter.
Yet, to its shock, the Baby Slime held firm without moving an inch.
"Ei!" Eiko exclaimed upon sensing the bite, spinning around to reel in hard, hauling a two-meter Rank 5 Sea Trout onto solid ground.
Of course, a Rank 5 Monster wouldn't perish so simply on land. It could easily flop back into the ocean, reclaiming its watery domain.
But before it managed that, the three excited kids piled on, slamming into it with playful zeal over Eiko's prize.
"Eiko, Fei Fei, Dim Dim, don't play with your food," Lux remarked, eyeing the hapless Sea Trout pinned beneath the rowdy trio.
"Pa!" Eiko cried out, delivering a sharp slap to the Sea Trout's face.
"Wei!" Fei Fei responded, blasting a fireball onto the fish's fins. "Dim Dim!" Dim Dim cheered gleefully, bouncing repeatedly on the Sea Trout's back and snapping its bones.
Ten minutes afterward, Ali and Ari grilled up the Sea Trout for the group's lunch.
Eiko, Fei Fei, and Dim Dim resumed their fishing poles with heightened enthusiasm, keen to snag more fish for all to savor.
"Father, thanks for asking me along on this fishing trip," Lux said to King Azza, whose face remained stoically blank.
"Mmm," King Azza grunted. "Fishing outings are nice now and then."
King Azza realized that had the Half-Elf been weaker, this trip's outcome might have drastically differed. But post the clash with Daniel, the Half-Elf's might had soared to true Pseudo-God status.
Lux could claim Godhood whenever he chose, yet he held back, opting to stay among the mortals of Solais and Elysium.
In essence, no elite Sea Monsters in Elysium dared eye the Half-Elf as prey anymore.
A mere look from him could snap their soul's link to their flesh, leaving soulless husks behind.
Even Elysium's mightiest, the current Dragon King, stood vulnerable to the Half-Elf's Death powers.
Should Lux desire immortality, it was within reach, for Death posed no peril to him now.
"Father, Valerie mentioned wanting a dozen kids," Lux shared. "I'm delighted, but could you persuade her that so many might harm her health? Four seems ideal to me—what's your view?"
"Four works well," King Azza agreed with a nod. "Leave it to me; I'll speak with her soon."
"Thanks, Father." Lux nodded back.
Keoza, overhearing nearby, posed a question to Lux.
"And what of Aurelia?" Keoza inquired. "Has she shared how many children she desires?"
Lux nodded. "Aurelia wants two. With so many kids in my future, she feels more isn't needed."
"I see," Keoza responded. "I eagerly await my first grandkid."
"I'm every bit as thrilled, Father." Lux grinned.
He understood the bravery Aurelia summoned to advance their bond and bear his offspring.
Honestly, the Half-Elf wondered if her words stemmed from the aphrodisiac's sway or rivalry with Valerie.
But upon seeking her assurance, she confirmed clear-headedness despite the drug's influence. Though it fueled her, Aurelia chose to embrace that fateful step, resulting in her pregnancy.
Dragons rarely conceived.
Centuries might pass without offspring, so discovering Lux's child within her filled her with joy.
That day, Lux, King Azza, Keoza, and King Victor caught zero fish, merely conversing amiably.
Solely Eiko, Fei Fei, and Dim Dim provided the catch their group feasted on during this inaugural fishing jaunt.
Though it deviated from the Dragon Kings' initial intent, they deemed the outing worthwhile.
With their daughters bearing his heirs, the two Dragon Kings queried Lux on the wedding date.
Lux felt it was high time to wed his beloveds, so he sought the Dragon Kings' input on the optimal day.
As a grand affair, they settled on half a year hence, allowing ample preparation for the venue and invitations to key figures across Solais and Elysium.
