Huo Ziyang returned to Tianxin's side, and after a talk with her father, he revealed that their engagement had been approved. A month later, the Huo family announced the engagement, shocking many due to the age difference. The engagement banquet was held, and afterward, Ziyang took Tianxin to his home, where preparations for their wedding night were made.

With lowered eyelashes, Tianxin felt a tremor of shyness, her palms growing damp as she avoided his gaze.

"Tianxin, do you truly wish to be with me?" Ziyang inquired, his hand gently caressing her cheek before he leaned in to softly kiss her eyes.

"Brother Ziyang, I want to be with you, so much!" Tianxin confessed with closed eyes, a smile gracing her lips as her nervousness melted away with the words.

"Do you really want to be with me?" Ziyang repeated the question with utmost seriousness.

She still possessed a sliver of opportunity to reconsider; however, this moment marked the precipice of no return. Henceforth, regret would be a concept lost to her, for she was to be his wife for all of eternity.

Tianxin met his gaze, her large, unblinking eyes nodding with conviction. "Brother Ziyang, I love you. I want to be with you forever, never to be apart!" she declared.

Joy bloomed in Ziyang's heart at her heartfelt response. At last, they were united, officially, irrevocably, together.

Morning arrived.

Tianxin's eyes fluttered open, a heavy sense of sleepiness and exhaustion washing over her.

Her eyelids yearned to close again, but a profound thirst plagued her, making sleep an impossibility.

Upon opening her eyes, she found Ziyang observing her, prompting her to quickly avert her gaze, unable to meet his stare.

"Finally awake, you were sleeping like a little pig," Ziyang chuckled softly, lowering his head to offer a gentle peck on her lips.

"Brother Ziyang, I'm truly happy," Tianxin replied, her earlier shyness vanishing. She met his eyes directly as she spoke, her voice filled with mirth.

"I am happy too~" Ziyang responded, his voice warm as he affectionately rubbed her cheek.

Tianxin drifted into a sweet slumber, her dreams filled with echoes of the past, even revisiting memories of her childhood.

As a child, she had been inseparable from Brother Ziyang. She often pondered why her affection for him was so profound.

It felt truly peculiar.

Her mother had told her that from the very moment Brother Ziyang entered her life, she had developed an intense fondness for him, always seeking his company.

Could such a thing as destiny truly exist?

It seemed undeniable; she and Brother Ziyang were, in fact, destined to be together!

Following Ziyang and Tianxin's engagement, Huo Shaohua decisively relinquished all company management responsibilities to Ziyang, effectively retiring from his active role.

One might say he had anticipated this day for a considerable time. Finally free from the burdens of business, he could now dedicate his days to accompanying his wife on leisurely travels.

The sensation of being unburdened by any responsibilities was truly magnificent.

In the days that followed, he planned to embark on journeys across the globe with his wife, entrusting the management of domestic affairs to Ziyang and Tianxin.

Tianxin found herself utterly at a loss for words regarding her parents' carefree attitude, yet simultaneously, she couldn't help but feel a pang of envy for their evident bliss.

While Ziyang dedicated himself to overseeing the company's operations, Tianxin was tasked with mastering household management alongside her ongoing studies.

Fortunately, her innate intelligence and resilience proved sufficient; she adeptly navigated both her academic pursuits and the responsibilities of managing the household.

What presented the greatest challenge, however, were her two younger brothers, whose mischievousness seemed to escalate with each passing year.

During the weekends, when school was out of session, Tianxin apprehended both her brothers and made them stand in the side hall.

"Tingxuan, did you find yourself in another brawl at school? The teacher has already contacted Mother. Couldn't you strive to be a little more well-behaved?" Tianxin questioned Huo Tingxuan, holding a stick behind him.

This particular brother was undeniably incorrigible. With their parents away on their trip, any hope of tranquility had been shattered.

"What, Mother already knows?!" Huo Tingxuan exclaimed, his face contorting with worry.

He had earnestly hoped to shield his mother from such minor incidents to prevent her from fretting over him. He had never anticipated she would be informed regardless.

How could the teacher possibly overlook informing Sister or Brother Ziyang, choosing instead to reach out to Mother?

Now that Mother was aware, Father would inevitably know too, and upon their return, he was surely in for a severe scolding...

Poor him.
