After making grave mistakes, the Huo family guardians were expelled and stripped of their titles. Huo Shaohua resigned as head of the family, and his wife was severely punished. Tianxin, also suffering from her injuries, woke up in pain and tried to find Ziyang, but was confronted by her father. She then discovered her mother was gravely ill and apologized for their family's suffering.

She had merely anticipated punishment for herself and Brother Yang, but failed to realize her parents would also face repercussions due to her actions.

Her lack of filial piety was stark; she only considered her own needs, neglecting her parents.

Tian Xingyun, roused from her sleep by Tianxin’s sobs, slowly opened her eyes to see her daughter kneeling by the bedside.

"Mom is alright, get up quickly. Stop crying," Tian Xingyun said, propping herself up with one arm.

Hearing her mother's voice, Tianxin immediately rose to assist her.

Seated by the bed, Tianxin wept, "Mom, I'm so sorry..."

It was her fault for dragging her mother down, especially considering her mother's already fragile health.

Now, her mother’s health would undoubtedly decline further due to the punishment she had incurred.

She was truly unfilial!

"I'm fine, why are you crying?" Tian Xingyun asked with a faint smile, reaching out to wipe her daughter's tears.

The silly girl had cried so much these past few days; her beautiful eyes were red, swollen, and bloodshot, her complexion terribly haggard.

"Mom, did they punish you?" Tianxin inquired, her voice trembling with apprehension.

"That's all in the past now. Everything is fine," Tian Xingyun replied with a reassuring smile.

From this moment on, the affairs of the Huo Clan would no longer concern them – what a relief!

She didn't have to worry about the children getting hurt; her and Shaohua's well-being was secondary.

As long as the children were safe.

"Fine!?" Tianxin questioned, bewildered, unable to grasp her mother's meaning.

"No one will stand in the way of you being with Ziyang. Don't worry," Tian Xingyun stated with a smile that was both happy and tinged with weakness.

A burning pain radiated from her back, and her fingers ached.

The task of copying the family rules countless times had left her fingers incredibly sore.

"Really?!" Tianxin gasped, her eyes widening, tears welling up again. Was what her mother said truly the case?

"Of course it's true! Mom would never lie to you!" Tian Xingyun nodded emphatically.

"Mom, you aren't lying to me, are you?!" Tianxin cried out in sheer excitement, seeking confirmation again, disbelieving.

She had braced herself for family punishment, yet now her mother assured her everything was fine.

Could this genuinely be true?

"I'm not lying to you."

"Thank you, Mom!" Tianxin sobbed tears of joy, leaning against the bedside.

She finally released all her pent-up worries and fears.

She had lived in constant fear.

"Don't celebrate just yet!" Huo Shaohua announced coldly as he entered.

"What are you doing?" Tian Xingyun's brow furrowed.

"Dad..." Tianxin looked up, her eyes swimming with tears.

"I will not permit you to be with Ziyang!"

"Dad!" Tianxin exclaimed, jumping to her feet. The joy she had felt moments before evaporated, replaced by a chilling despair.

Her father still refused to accept Brother Yang, still opposed their union.

"Ziyang has already been expelled from the Huo Family. Don't even think about seeing him again in your life!"

"Dad, what did you do to Brother Yang?!" Tianxin uttered in shock, her eyes wide with panic as she grabbed her father's arm.

Had something happened to Brother Yang?

Yes, it must have; she hadn't seen him for two or three days.

There had been no news of him, and when she asked Sister Ping, she remained silent.

Her father’s words about exiling Brother Yang confirmed her dire suspicions!

Despite Tianxin’s persistent questioning, Huo Shaohua refused to disclose Ziyang's whereabouts.

Tian Xingyun also had no idea where Ziyang was and, despite her desire to help her daughter, felt utterly powerless.

Huo Shaohua, fearing his wife might relent and tell Tianxin, had deliberately kept her uninformed.

Tianxin found herself confined to her room once more, her protests and struggles futile.

Consumed by worry for Ziyang, she paced her room in anxious tears.

Pacing frantically, her gaze landed on the balcony, and a smile touched her lips.

She had devised a plan!
