Tianxin's mother confronts her daughter, striking her for the first time and reminding her of her Huo family responsibilities. Tianxin pleads to not be separated from Ziyang, but her mother insists she must inherit the family legacy regardless. Her mother then forcibly takes her home, revealing she had Ziyang kept away to let Tianxin calm down, while Ziyang and Ziqian are confronted by her mother's bodyguards.

Ziyang paid no mind to their words and prepared to depart, his only wish being to see Tianxin briefly.

He remained unaware of the outcome of her conversation with the lady, but given Tianxin’s volatile nature, he was certain an argument had ensued.

She was still young, prone to fiery outbursts, and lacked self-control, yet she yearned to be with him with all her heart.

The lady’s current stance was a clear opposition to their union, and Tianxin was bound to react emotionally.

His concern for her grew, and he felt an urgent need to see her in person!

"Ziyang, don’t make this difficult for us, brothers!" Two men moved to intercept Ziyang.

"I have no desire to clash with you," Ziyang stated icily.

"Nor do we wish to fight you. Please don’t complicate matters for us; do not disobey the lady’s decree!"

Ziyang remained silent. He took a step forward, but the two men blocked his path once more.

"Ziyang! Don’t push us to engage in combat!"

"Then let’s fight!" Ziyang retorted with a cold growl. They posed no fear to him!

As the two men clenched their fists, poised for a fight, Ziqian stepped in, placing a hand on each of their shoulders.

"Allow Ziyang to see the young miss. Whatever the repercussions, we two brothers shall shoulder them entirely; we will not implicate you in this!"

"Ziqian, it’s not merely about implicating others. Ziyang must not see the young miss at this juncture. If the master discovers this, you are aware of the inevitable consequences!"

"I am not afraid!" Ziyang declared.

Tian Xingyun escorted Tianxin home, confined her to her room, and confiscated her mobile phone.

She was strictly forbidden from leaving her chamber, let alone making contact with Ziyang!

Tianxin dared not cause a scene upon returning home, fearing that her father’s discovery would lead to even graver repercussions.

Weeping in her room, consumed by distress, she had no idea how Brother Yang was faring.

She eventually drifted into a dazed sleep, only awakening to the sound of a knock on her door.

Rubbing her sore eyes, which were more swollen from her sleep, she felt a profound sense of despair.

With a heavy heart, she climbed out of bed, foregoing slippers, and walked to the door.

Upon opening it, she turned and walked away, knowing without looking that it was undoubtedly her mother.

She turned away, her eyes half-closed, only to be encircled by an arm around her waist as she heard the door click shut.

Startled, she paused, then her eyes widened. She turned back abruptly, a mixture of anxiety and excitement coursing through her.

Seeing that it was Ziyang, tears of overwhelming joy streamed down her face as she flung herself into his embrace.

"Brother Yang!" she cried out sorrowfully, clutching his clothing with a vice-like grip.

"No more tears!" Ziyang said, his voice laden with sadness, holding her tightly and gently stroking her hair.

"Brother Yang, I thought you no longer wanted me…" Tianxin sobbed, clinging to him.

She was terrified he would vanish, afraid he would be gone again!

"I won’t, I swear I won’t leave Tianxin!"

"Then why did you disappear today? Why did you abandon me!" Tianxin looked up at him, her large eyes red and brimming with tears.

"My dearest Tianxin, please cease your crying. Your beautiful, large eyes will become sore." Ziyang reached out to wipe away her tears, his heart aching intensely at the sight of her swollen eyes.

A deep, bone-chilling pain resonated through every joint in his body…

He lowered his head and tenderly kissed her eyes. Tianxin closed her eyes, her delicate eyelashes quivering.

Ziyang’s ears twitched almost imperceptibly as he reluctantly pulled away from her lips.

"Tianxin, I must depart. I gave the lady my word that I could only remain for a few minutes!"

"No! You cannot leave! You must not go!" Tianxin anxiously stamped her feet, her voice hoarse and low.

She leaped onto him, wrapping her legs around his waist and clinging to his clothes with all her might.

"No foolishness, now is not the time for recklessness, do you comprehend? We must approach this situation calmly and rationally. Only then can we be together, understand?" Ziyang spoke, pressing his forehead against hers as he gently explained.

"Brother Yang, I will not surrender, even if it means my very life!" Tianxin cried, her tears blurring her vision.
