Zuo Wugang and Qiu Zhiheng discuss the unusual cultivation methods of those Above the Clouds. Meanwhile, Tan Jinxiao attempts to intimidate shopkeepers, but his plans are thwarted when a granny suddenly appears, claiming he wounded her. Tan Jinxiao denies it, but the situation escalates as Zuo Wugang and Qiu Zhiheng intervene.

The onlookers had their mouths wide open, unable to say anything, because the scene was just too lively.

On the second floor of the restaurant, Lu Yuanxin said to Qiu Zhiheng: “Uncle Qiu, the insects are in position.”

Qiu Zhiheng’s veins bulged, his pupils filled with blood, and he stared intently at Tan Jinxiao.

The two sides were far apart, and Qiu Zhiheng forcibly used his technique, with drops of blood flowing from the corners of his eyes.

At such a distance, it would be futile to use the Lust Cultivation Technique on Tan Jinxiao.

But using the Lust Cultivation Technique on the insects was effective.

A swarm of flies became excited, clinging to Tan Jinxiao’s back and sucking vigorously.

The immature flies immediately swelled up, fiercely gnawing at Tan Jinxiao’s back.

Tan Jinxiao sensed something was wrong, his back felt a little itchy. Just as he was about to check his golden armor, a Swearing Woman grabbed him: “You wicked scoundrel, cursed by heaven, cut into pieces, you harmed my son and now harm me. You’ll fry in the oil pot in the Palace of Darkness for ten thousand years, never able to be reborn!”

Tan Jinxiao was still arguing when Lu Yuanxin whistled, and Zuo Wugang stabbed Tan Jinxiao in the back.

The knife plunged in, and fresh blood flowed out.

“Ouch!” Tan Jinxiao exclaimed, “Why did you attack?”

Zuo Wugang said: “Didn’t you say it yourself, to let me gamble with knives? Whoever yells first loses. You just shouted, which means you lost!”

Tan Jinxiao retorted angrily: “You attacked without warning, that’s against the rules.”

Zuo Wugang replied: “Everyone heard clearly, the rules were set by you. If you can’t handle it, who can you blame?”

As the two argued, Qiu Zhiheng said to Lu Yuanxin: “Release the second wave of insects.”

Lu Yuanxin released the second wave of insects, this time not flies, but scorpions, the highly venomous scorpions he had carefully bred.

Qiu Zhiheng’s veins bulged again, using the Lust Cultivation Technique on the scorpions.

The scorpions, affected by the technique, darted forward.

They didn’t rush at Tan Jinxiao, but at several burly men on the carriage.

The furious scorpions clawed and bit, even injecting venom, and in less than a minute, the burly men couldn’t stand it.

The Swearing Woman was still crying: “Oh my son, my son, why did you… how did you awaken?”

The matter was exposed, and the burly men scrambled and tumbled off the carriage, fleeing in all directions.

Even the “corpses” ran, completely exposing the truth.

Tan Jinxiao nodded slightly: “Alright, I admit it, it’s a mess.”

Without saying another word, Tan Jinxiao left.

The onlookers slowly realized that Tan Jinxiao was in the wrong, and staying any longer would only cost him more cultivation.

The Swearing Woman clutched her stomach wound and cried out in agony: “My son!”

Zuo Wugang supported the Swearing Woman: “Old lady, don’t be upset, come to my restaurant and rest. I’ll find a doctor for you!”

…

Back in the restaurant, Zuo Wugang let out a long sigh: “This matter is finally over, I should have stabbed him a few more times, getting away with just one stab was too lenient.”

Qiu Zhiheng wiped the blood from the corner of his eyes: “It’s useless, Above the Clouds’ life is tough, a few more stabs wouldn’t count as serious injury,

This isn’t over, hooligans aren’t that easy to deal with, and the ones from Above the Clouds are even harder to handle, we’ll be dealing with him for a long time!”

Zuo Wugang sighed: “In Greenwater City, it’s rare to see such hooligans.”

Qiu Zhiheng nodded: “Not only rare in Greenwater City, but in all of Puluo State, Three-Head Fork is really a different place.”

The group tidied up the restaurant, preparing to open for business the next day, when Dumpling rushed to the restaurant: “Big Brother Qiu, something happened at the stone quarry, I just went to the pharmacy, couldn’t find the Seventh Master, so I came here to find you…”

Qiu Zhiheng asked: “What’s wrong?”

“Two patrol officers came to the stone quarry, insisting that we cease operations.”

Zuo Wugang said: “Don’t worry, I’ll go take a look.”

Qiu Zhiheng stopped Zuo Wugang: “Isn’t Oil Peach at the stone quarry? What did she say?”

“She said she’s unfamiliar with the place and thinks letting the Seventh Master handle it would be better.”

Qiu Zhiheng lowered his face: “Nonsense! Oil Peach has traveled the Jianghu, spent considerable time by the Eldest Sister He’s side, she’s been through a lot, and can’t handle two patrol officers at Three-Head Fork?”

Dumpling didn’t know how to explain: “Big Brother Qiu, Oil Peach said the patrol officers at Three-Head Fork are different.”

“Since you know they’re different, think of different ways to counter them, if it really doesn’t work, use deadly force, and only come to me when all else fails!”

After sending off Dumpling, Chuanzi arrived: “Master Qiu, the pawnshop in East Stone Village was robbed, a dozen bandits took off with a lot of goods, valued at over ten thousand Ocean Dollars.”

Zuo Wugang was ready to head to the pawnshop, but Qiu Zhiheng stopped him again, since the pawnshop was Chuanzi’s own business.

“You should directly invite Kui Bafang and Qin Tianjiu, Kui Bafang is skilled at finding people, Qin Tianjiu has been through hardships in the Three Heroes Gang, the two of them know how to deal with bandits,

Make sure to remember, even though they’re our people, you must not shortchange their reward.”

After sending off Chuanzi, Zuo Wugang said: “Head Qiu, you’re being a bit unreasonable, the Seventh Master isn’t here, these people come to us for help, we ought to at least check it out.”

“Check it out?” Qiu Zhiheng chuckled, “You can barely keep an eye on your own business, and you still have the mind to look after others?”

“Why bother calculating this? We’re all our own people, aren’t we all here for the Seventh Master?”

“We’re not here for Old Qi, we’re here to benefit ourselves,” Qiu Zhiheng stood on the second floor of the restaurant, looking into the distance, “Old Zuo, you know, back then the Lu Family also wanted to start a business in Three-Head Fork, having a venture there is no easy feat,

Old Qi planted the tree, we came over to pick the fruits, if we can’t hold onto the fruits in our hands and look for Old Qi every time there’s trouble, how is Old Qi going to handle his own affairs?”
