Li Qi visited Boss Lu to inquire about a mark left on Du Wenming that reappeared at Flower Fairy Mansion. Boss Lu confirmed the mark was still present and was not connected to Li Qi. Later, Ling Miaosheng visited Boss Lu's bookstore seeking musical scores to study with new acquaintances, but suddenly fell ill before leaving. Ling Miaosheng then prepared to meet Yang Shaofeng and Cai Weiming, who are revealed to be Bai He and Bai Wusong, and their follower Bai Xinseng.

"Gentlemen, why have you come so early today?"

Bai Wusong clasped his fists and said, "Mr. Ling, today we are here to bid you farewell."

Ling Miaosheng was taken aback; he had a special connection with Bai Wusong, spending time every day studying music together. Hearing Bai Wusong say he was leaving, Ling Miaosheng found it hard to accept.

"Are you in a hurry to leave because there are shortcomings in my hospitality?"

Bai Wusong took out an envelope from his bosom: "To have found a true friend in my life is my good fortune, and to have received Mr. Ling's assistance in my destitute times is truly a blessing. Please accept this small token, for the expenses of our stay here over this time."

Ling Miaosheng took the envelope and saw it was stuffed with a thick wad of banknotes: "Gentlemen, this embarrasses me. Three meals a day, simple tea and humble food, how could I calculate against you?"

"The kindness you've shown, I do not know how to repay. If you refuse to accept this small token, my heart will not be at ease."

Bai Wusong sincerely wished to give, but Ling Miaosheng was adamantly unwilling to accept: "Could you please tell me where you are headed, so that I know where to find you in the future?"

Bai Wusong considered for a moment before deciding to speak the truth: "At this point, keeping secrets would truly be a disservice to your hospitality,

so I shall speak frankly: My real name is not Yang Shaofeng, nor is my disciple's name Cai Weiming. I am Bai Wusong, and we belong to the White Crane Gang."

Ling Miaosheng knew of the White Crane Gang, which was a gang of Body Cultivators. The name Bai Wusong sounded familiar, but having traveled to the Inner Amikan Country, his memory was impaired, and he could not recall who Bai Wusong was.

"Are you planning to return to the gang?"

Bai Xinseng replied with his head lowered, "I wish we could return to the gang."

Bai Xinseng seemed reluctant to leave Greenwater City.

Bai Wusong glared at Bai Xinseng and said to Ling Miaosheng, "If I may be honest, we don't plan to return to the gang; we intend to make a trip to Sheqiao Village.

Surely Boss Ling knows the origins of the White Crane Gang. I am a Reincarnated Body Cultivator, and my disciple is a Transformed Body Cultivator. Since the day I joined, I've held the belief that all Body Cultivators under heaven are our brethren.

The other day, I learned that Mr. Qi had settled a group of our brethren in Sheqiao Village. These brethren have endured suffering at Three-Head Fork, and I wish to help them. Otherwise, I wouldn't have..."

Having spoken halfway, Bai Wusong paused.

He truly wanted to help the Three-Headed People at Three-Head Fork; he secluded himself to find a method to break the boundary, otherwise, he wouldn't have collided with the boundary.

This was not something to elaborate on. Bai Wusong sighed and said, "I know I am not highly capable, but when I arrive at Sheqiao Village, I'll do my best to contribute whatever I can, even if it means doing menial labor; I am willing."

Ling Miaosheng quietly admired him. Having traveled to many places, both the Puluo State and Outside Provinces, he seldom encountered someone like Bai Wusong.

Not to mention, how many Body Cultivators in this world can regard the Three-Headed People as their brethren?

Ling Miaosheng said, "I have dealings with Mr. Qi as well; why not let me accompany you to Sheqiao Village and introduce you to Mr. Qi."

Bai Wusong shook his head and replied, "There's no need to trouble you, sir; we don't require introductions. At the phonograph shop, we have already met Mr. Qi.

Mr. Qi knowing there are people like us is sufficient; we are going to Sheqiao Village not to intrude, but to earnestly contribute."

Ling Miaosheng smiled and said, "My connection with Mr. Qi is not shallow either; I also wish to lend a hand at Sheqiao Village, so let's depart today."

"But what about the business here..."

"The business is taken care of, don't worry about that."

Ling Miaosheng had his luggage prepared; once everything was packed and the vehicle ready, just as he was about to step outside, he suddenly felt a dull ache beneath his ribs, followed by a wave of fatigue that almost caused him to collapse.

Bai Wusong noticed Ling Miaosheng's pale face and sweat-soaked brow and asked, "Sir, what's happening to you?"

Ling Miaosheng shook his head and responded, "Nothing serious, perhaps it's just the humidity these few days, always feeling... "

Seeing Ling Miaosheng struggling even to speak, Bai Wusong promptly helped him sit down: "I have some knowledge of medicine; if you trust me, let me check your pulse."

After checking the pulse, Bai He pondered for a long time before asking Ling Miaosheng, "Did you perhaps sustain an internal injury?"

Internal injury?

Ling Miaosheng contemplated for a long time before a memory suddenly flashed in his mind.

"I have indeed been injured..." Ling Miaosheng recalled the injury under his rib, and the scene where someone treated him. He was gravely injured, lying on the ground, and an Amikan person carried him back from the battlefield.

But he couldn't remember how exactly he got injured.

Bai Xinseng didn't want to go to Sheqiao Village; he truly wanted to stay in Greenwater City. Seeing Ling Miaosheng injured, Bai Xinseng quickly said, "My family head's medical skills are excellent, especially in acupuncture. Let him treat you, and with a month of care, the internal injury will surely heal."

Ling Miaosheng looked at Bai Wusong, who already owed Ling Miaosheng a favor and certainly couldn't refuse.

"I haven't practiced acupuncture for years; it may have been neglected, but if Mr. Ling trusts me..."

"I trust you!" Ling Miaosheng said, clasping his fists, "I rely on you, sir."

"Not at all, not at all." Bai He instructed Bai Xinseng to prepare for the acupuncture.

Ling Miaosheng asked, "I'm a bit afraid of pain; could you play some music for me while performing acupuncture?"

Bai He nodded and said, "That won't be an issue."

Ling Miaosheng wasn't truly afraid of pain; he remembered something important and wanted to recover his memory through the records.

Once everything was ready, Bai He began the acupuncture, and Bai Xinseng placed the first record on the phonograph. The melody was soothing and melodious, while Bai He's needlework was steady.
