Li Banfeng, Lu Qianjiao, and the Coachman cross a dark bridge to reach Elbow Mountain, guided by the Peddler's instructions. They are given special snow cream to mask their presence, though its toxic nature requires careful use. The Peddler creates a diversion while the others proceed, but they soon encounter hostile 'Three-Headed People' searching for them in the forest.

Li Banfeng used Unimpeded first, traversing all the way to the forest edge to cut off the enemy's retreat.

If you choose to fight, you must not leave anyone alive; we cannot let these people escape and report the news.

Both took their positions; Li Banfeng took the lead in striking.

No need for a Passing Glance, nor Trample Over Thousands of Rivers, do not use techniques with too much noise.

Li Banfeng hovered mid-air; with his Tang Sword horizontal, he slashed three necks at once, and a three-headed person immediately fell to the ground.

Upon hearing some sounds, Lu Qianjiao knew that Li Banfeng was in position; she threw three feather arrows with a flick of her hand, the arrows flew in three different directions, multiplying mid-air, shooting three three-headed people into sieves.

The other three-headed people in the forest noticed something was wrong; one took the copper gong from his waist, trying to signal, but Li Banfeng arrived behind him and pierced through his body with the Closing Doors and Shutting Windows boundary.

The severely wounded three-headed person had no time to retaliate, being tossed into the Portable Residence by Li Banfeng.

Five three-headed people died one after another, seeming like smooth sailing, but the remaining eight were prepared, ending the advantage of a sneak attack.

One three-headed person dashed toward Lu Qianjiao with incredible speed, likely a Wanderer.

Lu Qianjiao tossed a feather arrow, splitting into two, then four, the four arrows locked onto the three-headed person.

The feather arrows couldn't be dodged because under Lu Qianjiao's control, they would chase the person even if avoided.

Unexpectedly, the three-headed person did not dodge but charged toward the arrows.

The four arrows seemed about to hit; logically, the three-headed person would be killed, but unexpectedly, the arrow directions suddenly veered, two arrows stuck into a tree, and one almost hit the coachman.

The remaining arrow hit the chest of the three-headed person, but it carried no power, only grazing the skin.

Lu Qianjiao's prowess is deemed a Grandmaster Arrow Cultivator; this mistake was incredible because she did not understand the opponent's cultivation level.

The middle head of this three-headed person was indeed a Wanderer, with speed close to a Traveling Cultivator, but the right head was an interferer with abilities similar to a Mental Cultivator.

When Lu Qianjiao controlled the feather arrows, her thoughts suddenly went awry, causing the arrows to split only twice and veer severely off course.

In this exchange, Lu Qianjiao realized the power of the three-headed people; she jumped out from behind a tree, using an arrowhead to pierce her palm.

This was her experience dealing with Mental Cultivators, concentrating her mind through pain.

The three-headed person quickly approached Lu Qianjiao; she turned and shot another arrow.

The left head shouted: "Missed!"

The arrows split into dozens but hit none of the three-headed people.

The left head was a polymath, akin to a Literature Cultivator; he used the technique A Single Word Becomes Reality.

Lu Qianjiao was somewhat shocked; what level was this three-headed person? Could his A Single Word Becomes Reality affect Lu Qianjiao? Could his cultivation level have reached Above the Clouds?

This three-headed person's cultivation level had not reached Above the Clouds; he was a Dark Energy User, not a Cultivator, with the cultivation level maxing out at Earth Layer Seven.

The effectiveness of A Single Word Becomes Reality was entirely due to the head's focused technique; he disregarded body manipulation, stance, movement technique, footwork, distance, none of these were considered.

He didn't even consider forms of attack and defense; he focused solely on one thing: preparing the technique and releasing it at the right moment.

Having suffered two moves, Lu Qianjiao became cautious, changing positions thrice, shooting three arrows in succession; she calculated this three-headed person couldn't simultaneously interfere with all three arrows.

"Missed!"

"No Split!"

"Powerless!"

Two arrows didn't split, nor hit.

One arrow successfully split into eight but fell listlessly to the ground.

Lu Qianjiao miscalculated one step because there was more than one three-headed person here.

These three-headed people were warriors from the Outside Provinces who, when facing a strong enemy, would uniformly execute effective tactics with astonishing consistency and coordination.

Lu Qianjiao, experienced in countless battles, was genuinely struck dumb, being surrounded by eight three-headed people, each with only one head controlling the body, a Fighter or Wanderer, not at a disadvantage in physique.

The other two heads varied in profession, cooperating flawlessly with three heads, the eight three-headed people acted in sync, battling a few rounds, and Lu Qianjiao couldn't find a flaw in a short time.

Seeing the unfavorable situation, the coachman turned the carriage, preparing to retreat to the Border Line.

A generation of renowned generals was not merely a facade; unable to find a rational strategy, Lu Qianjiao went for brute force; she flicked her sleeve, releasing thousands of feather arrows.

This move had one feature; it didn't care about accuracy, just attacking. In no time, six three-headed people were turned into porcupines, collapsing one after another.

The remaining two three-headed people attempted to flee but were blocked by Li Banfeng, both entering the Portable Residence.

This group of three-headed people was dealt with, but Lu Qianjiao was significantly exhausted; she never expected eight three-headed people to force her to use this move.

Fortunately, the number of three-headed people wasn't too high; if there were one or two hundred, that move might not have worked; concentrating a hundred Literature Cultivators using A Single Word Becomes Reality, even thousands of arrows might not move.

If she couldn't even handle one or two hundred enemy troops, Lu Qianjiao would truly be tarnishing her battlefield reputation.

Retrieving the feather arrows, Lu Qianjiao sighed: "The tactics of the Outside Provinces are indeed different; I've been lax these years. I'll need to work harder on training the troops in the future."
