Rong Si Jiao's soul separates from his body, but is captured and consumed. Meanwhile, Cui Tiq discovers that the lush Rongku Mountain is a facade created by toxic paints, causing all life on it to wither and die. The previous Rong Ku God is confirmed dead, and Cui Tiq is given the Contract Books to become the new Rong Ku God. In Wubian City, Luo Lijun grows impatient with the slow research into a medicine.

Xie Baheng said, "Yu Zhu went to prepare the herbal medicine and will be back soon."

Xie Baheng kept replying, and Luo Lijun was somewhat dissatisfied. She looked at Lang Daoshou: "Have you turned mute?"

Lang Daoshou blinked, squeezed out a sentence: "Yes, she'll be here soon."

Luo Lijun angrily shouted, "What's the use of paying you a big salary to keep you bunch of useless people? If there's no antidote within three days, find a chain to lock yourselves up and wait for prison!"

Luo Lijun walked away, and Xie Baheng slumped into a chair: "What should we do now!"

Lang Daoshou wiped his tears with his knife hands: "Still blaming me, huh?"

Xie Baheng angrily responded, "Mr. Lang, clarify your words, why blame me?"

Lang Daoshou shouted, "I have deciphered the prescription; your medical skills aren't enough to understand the medical principles and you still dare to blame me!"

Xie Baheng took out a piece of paper: "Look at the prescription you wrote: soy sauce, white sugar, vinegar! Is this a prescription?

This would be suitable for making sweet and sour crab! If you are going to botch things up like this, might as well stew me into a medicinal soup!"

Lang Daoshou cried uncontrollably: "Speak with your conscience, I have worked earnestly, whom am I deceiving?"

The argument between them grew more intense, and a scallop flapped its shell and entered the prescription.

"Ladies, brothers, stop quarreling. This remedy is too peculiar; we can't decipher it at all. If you ask me, let's stop this fruitless effort."

Lang Daoshou sobbed twice: "If we don't do it, what then? Go to prison?"

Xie Baheng waved his pincers: "We'll reason it out, why should we be imprisoned!"

Lang Daoshou spat: "Pah! Reason? Does Luo Lijun look like a reasonable person?"

Dan Yuzhu said, "Since she's unreasonable, we can't be blamed for this; let's run away."

Lang Daoshou was stunned: "Where to?"

Dan Yuzhu said, "We definitely can't go north; they won't take us in. Try going south; I have connections."

Xie Baheng lowered his head: "I've got family to worry about..."

Lang Daoshou stood up, "Sis, I'll go with you, I'll bring my whole family, I absolutely won't go to jail!"

...

Leaving Rongku Mountain, Li Banfeng called Luo Zhengnan to inquire about the whereabouts of the Peddler.

Since the last disappearance, the Peddler broke from his routine, making his whereabouts difficult to guess. Luo Zhengnan contacted several old friends, someone mentioned seeing the Peddler at Bridge Yesong.

Bridge Yesong is Li Banfeng's own territory, so he was familiar with the roads and reached the place in half a day.

After searching around Bridge Yesong, he found no sign of the Peddler, but upon inquiry, learned the Peddler had left yesterday.

Li Banfeng asked about the Peddler's next destination, but since he had changed his route, others couldn't say for sure.

Where to find him now?

Li Banfeng returned to Greenwater City, sat in the room of Xiaoyao Lodge, and gazed at the clouds in the sky.

...

In the all-white courtyard, white house, white walls, the Peddler was in the living room cleaning a burn mark on the rear wall.

The burn mark wasn't actually large, but the Peddler found it unsightly, like a black spot on a white paper, increasingly irritating.

He wiped it with soap water several times; the burnt traces became faint, yet even a slight trace bothered the Peddler.

He found some white paint from his cart, intending to thoroughly cover the burn mark, but the paint was too bright and didn't harmonize.

The paint needed adjustment.

The Peddler found other pigments and mixed them into the white paint, feeling the color matched the surroundings better, took a small brush, dipped in paint, and slowly covered the burn mark.

He repeatedly brushed it several times until no trace was visible, satisfied, tidied the flowers in the courtyard, and pushed his cart out the gate.

Walking quite far, the Peddler suddenly felt uneasy, looked back and saw a figure in the courtyard.

The Peddler pushed his cart back to the courtyard, saw Li Banfeng with a lighter, burning the ivy on the rear wall.

This was the rear wall the Peddler had just painted white, now burnt in a large patch by Li Banfeng.

The Peddler quickly extinguished the fire, asking Li Banfeng, "What are you doing here?"

Li Banfeng calmly replied, "Burning the house."

The Peddler asked again: "Why are you burning my house again?"

Li Banfeng retorted, "Isn't this Fire Wheel?"

"I'll give you Fire Wheel!" The Peddler drew a feather duster, Li Banfeng took off running, the two circled the house once, Li Banfeng disappeared, and the Peddler jumped off the cloud with his cart.

Li Banfeng was in a daze in Xiaoyao Lodge's room, when the Peddler pushed his cart and rushed in, pointed the feather duster at Li Banfeng: "Didn't I tell you, don't burn my house, why did you go again?"

Li Banfeng came to his senses, shook his head, "It wasn't me!"

"Then what's in your hand?"

Li Banfeng looked down, found he was still holding the lighter, flicking the Fire Wheel, still igniting it with clicks.

He understood something, realizing the cause of Xiaoyao Lodge catching fire previously.

"This thing is quite mysterious," Li Banfeng sighed, "I have no memory of it at all!"

"No memory? You burnt my house, how will you settle this account?" The Peddler swung the feather duster.

Li Banfeng covered his head and shouted, "Senior Brother, put down the feather duster first, I have something important to tell you, couldn't find you, so I used the Cloud Gate Skill."

"Looking for me about what?"

"I mentioned the Boundary matter before, you said it requires passing through two hundred people at once; I've managed it now."

The Peddler put down the feather duster, rolled a cigarette for Li Banfeng: "Come, Junior Brother, sit down and talk slowly, is it possible to get two hundred people through now?"
