Li Banfeng and Luo Zhengnan gather information about the gangs and the peculiar village of De Yuan, known for its numerous virtue paifangs. They decide to host a banquet for the sixteen gangs that have gathered at De Song Cliff, despite concerns about Song Demei's influence. The banquet proceeds without Li Qi, and when gang leader Luo Tongkui attempts to leave, Luo Zhengnan subtly incapacitates him, prompting a confrontation.

The Hall Master of the White Crane Gang, Jiang Jingqi, spoke up: "Brother Luo, Seventh Master has always taken good care of our gang. We've maintained very cordial relations, but we all know the rules of the road. We promised to settle matters for others, halfway backing out isn't reasonable.

I think Mr. Kui was right, since Seventh Master doesn't want to see us, he shouldn't invite us. Whatever it is, talk to our Gang Leader."

The Alliance Leader of the Sha Snake Alliance, Sha Jianfeng, took a drag of his cigarette and sneered: "Seventh Master looks down on the brothers from each hall entrance, I won't say much, my Big Fengzi is the leader of the Sha Snake Alliance. Seventh Master can't lower himself to meet us? This is disregarding us too much!

Seventh Master can manipulate the clouds and rains in Puluo State, we believe that, but we don't accept it. I can't speak for others, but we at Sha Snake Alliance won't take this lying down. Our brothers in Sha Snake Alliance are no cowards afraid of death!"

"We won't take it; our brothers aren't afraid of death!"

Everyone stood up, ready to leave the table, but Luo Zhengnan shouted: "Don't rush, food is coming."

Sha Jianfeng twisted her waist, the tight-fitting brocade cheongsam clinging to her, her waist and hip round and alluring: "Keep it for yourself, we aren't here to scrounge a meal. We're not that poor!"

Luo Zhengnan inwardly admired; the Sha Snake Alliance was a medium-level gang, not to speak of other abilities, but Big Fengzi's appearance and figure were truly impeccable.

"Sister, since you're here, at least taste the first dish before you leave. Waiter, open the pot!"

Luo Zhengnan instructed to open the pot, a young man brought over a pot, and as the lid was lifted, aroma wafted out with the steam.

Everyone looked into the pot, it contained a large bald head, with right eye covered by an eye patch.

This head belonged to Luo Tongkui from the Three Heroes Gang.

He had just gone out, and in the time it takes to smoke a cigarette, his head had already been stewing here.

Sha Jianfeng twisted her waist again and turned back to sit on the chair.

The rest all sat down too, heads lowered, saying nothing.

Luo Zhengnan lit a cigarette, gently sighed: "You all aren't familiar with Seventh Master, but listen to my advice, sometimes not seeing Seventh Master might not be a bad thing,

look at Mr. Kui, insisted on seeing Seventh Master, and here he is, in the pot now? Let's not idle around, start eating as we chat."

How to eat? Eat Luo Tongkui's head?

No one spoke, Luo Zhengnan tapped away some ashes from his cigarette and sighed: "Seems this dish isn't to your taste."

"If it's not to your taste, that's okay," Li Qi pulled a chair and sat next to Luo Zhengnan, "Pack it and send it to Shen Jinzhong."

Everyone shuddered, not knowing who this person was or when he had arrived.

The Three Heroes Gang was the largest gang; seeing how this person treated the Three Heroes Gang's Great Gold Seal Shen Jinzhong, the people present figured out his identity.

Luo Zhengnan chuckled: "Didn't you all want to see Seventh Master? Well, here he is now!"

Everyone's faces went pale, not daring to lift their heads or speak, no one dared to take one more look at Li Qi.

Li Banfeng scanned the crowd and said: "Don't be restrained, eat what you should, drink what you should. If this dish isn't to taste, I'll swap it out for you all!"

Everyone except Li Qi and Luo Zhengnan shuddered spontaneously.

Li Qi continued: "After finishing this meal, it's time to hit the road."

Everyone shuddered again, Li Banfeng laughed: "Don't misunderstand, I'm saying you should go back to your homes. You are all courageous people. Your brothers aren't afraid of death, but this doesn't mean you aren't afraid of death, isn't that right?"

Everyone lowered their heads in silence, acknowledging Li Qi's reasoning.

Li Banfeng specifically asked Sha Jianfeng: "Alliance Leader Sha, will you return tomorrow?"

"Return!" Sha Jianfeng nodded repeatedly, "No need for tomorrow, I'll go back tonight."

Li Qi praised: "Alliance Leader Sha is wise, Old Luo always compliments you, saying you're the most esteemed among Puluo State's leaders."

Luo Zhengnan's cheeks slightly flushed, Sha Jianfeng hurriedly said: "My relationship with Brother Luo runs deep, these days I won't leave, I'll have a few more drinks with Brother Luo and catch up."

That night, each gang quickly gathered manpower, packed their things, and prepared to return home.

Sha Jianfeng delegated these tasks to her subordinates, and that night, she indeed visited Old Luo to reminisce: "Brother Luo, I apologize for my impulsive nature, don't take my words to heart."

Speaking, Sha Jianfeng twisted her waist and sat on Luo Zhengnan's lap.

Luo Zhengnan sighed lightly: "I don't take it to heart, but you surely burrow your way in!"

The next morning, all the gangs, fully staffed and packed, headed to the village's west entrance, bypassed Pai Fang Road, hit the main road, and before half day's walk, reached the train station.

Song Demei stood under her father's archway, clasping her fists towards the crowd: "Brothers, I've never treated you unfairly, have I? Are you really going to abandon me?"

The Soup Porridge Gang's leader, Ma Songquan, threw his towel over his shoulder, performed a fist greeting: "Old Sister, we've encountered issues..."

"No need to explain," Song Demei sighed, "Small Ma, back when you were selling porridge on Hai Chi Ridge's street, Yaojiazhai people flipped over your stall, leaving you half dead, who vouched for you and saved you? You haven't forgotten that, have you?"

Ma Songquan heard her words, recalling the past, his nose soured, and he used the towel on his shoulder to wipe his tears.

He had once stayed with the Three Heroes Gang, reaching Second Layer cultivation level. Not wanting to live with a constantly suspended head, he left the Three Heroes Gang, set up a stall on Hai Chi Ridge's First Ridge, selling noodle soup and porridge meals, working from dawn till dusk, earning bits to support his family.
