Master Huiming imparts a second cultivation method to Fang Cheng, the "Great Brightness Meditation," which focuses on inner purity and mental cultivation. Fang Cheng accepts the scriptures and promises to try the method. Cheng Jiashu jokes with the Master about favoritism, and Master Huiming inquires about Cheng Jiashu's improved mental state. Master Huiming then recognizes Fang Cheng's martial arts prowess and learns he studied under Ma Jianguo. Fang Cheng offers his assistance to the temple should any trouble arise. After politely declining a vegetarian meal, Fang Cheng and Cheng Jiashu depart.

Below the ocean surface, a ten-thousand-meter abyss.

According to common sense, sunlight reaching here would have long been completely swallowed by the seawater.

All around is only absolute darkness and dead silence, even the traces of soft-bodied creatures are rare.

Yet, in this cemetery-like sea area, today a radiant light blossoms.

This light illuminates the dim seawater, making it transparently bright.

It’s as if a Great Sun has fallen into the abyss, nurturing abundant vitality amidst extreme cold.

Fang Cheng, bare-chested, legs crossed, quietly floats in the seawater.

He wears no diving equipment, nor does he rely on any technological devices.

Seemingly relying solely on his pure physical body, he withstands the heavy pressure of ten thousand tons of seawater.

A brilliant golden light rises from his body, appearing particularly dazzling in the darkness.

The golden light extends outward, propping up an invisible barrier, abruptly isolating the heavy seawater outside.

Unlike usual, today Fang Cheng does not deploy a Domain, nor does he use True Qi to maintain the pressure balance inside and outside his body.

He holds his breath in concentration, silently operating the "Great Brightness Meditation" mental method taught by Master Huiming.

As the Cultivation Technique circulates, a light like a lamp flame lights up at the center of his brow.

The light continuously expands outward, silent and unnoticed, flowing over his forehead, nose bridge, and face...

Illuminating his entire body, coating his limbs and bones with a layer of gold.

Fang Cheng glows with a soft and bright radiance, like a gilded statue sitting quietly in the deep sea.

This light is vastly different from the roaring, destructive flames in battle.

It is extremely gentle and serene, without a hint of flickering flame.

Up close, Fang Cheng’s body resembles a hanging glass lamp at the bottom of the sea, emitting a purely clear light.

Under this layer of light, not only does his skin appear crystal clear, but even his internal organs, meridians, and blood vessels vaguely show a golden flow.

Buzz—

Accompanied by a mesmerizing low hum, substantial golden ripples spread layer by layer from Fang Cheng, expanding into the dim water around him.

A few peculiar deep-sea soft-bodied creatures, drawn by the light source, drag their long tentacles over, gently circling around Fang Cheng.

They feel no sense of danger, only that this light emits an incredibly tranquil aura, making them instinctively want to approach.

The originally dark and cold abyss thus gains a touch more vitality.

Fang Cheng pays no mind to the seabed creatures gathering from the outside, his mind has already descended into the Inner World.

The sky is dim, the sea of clouds rolls like undulating waves.

Yet above the vast sea of clouds, there’s a completely different Light Domain.

At the source of this brightness, Fang Cheng sits cross-legged in the air.

His eyes are slightly closed, hands forming a Dharma Seal, like a Golden Buddha sitting at the center of the Great Sun.

As his lips gently move, a low, Great Brightness Mantra chants forth from his mouth.

The syllables, like thunder, resonate high in the sky, echoing endlessly.

The blazing sun shaped by True Self Consciousness, under the blessing of Great Brightness Zen, bursts with extraordinary phenomena.

The exploding firelight on the Great Sun’s edge quietly gathers, forming a circle of flame-bearing Dharma Aspect around the perimeter.

Seemingly guided by the Dharma Aspect, thousands of golden rays instantly penetrate the sea of clouds, intertwining with the pouring dense spirit rain.

The crystal-clear raindrops, penetrated by sunlight, refract countless brilliant halos, cascading gracefully over the vast mountains and rivers.

If closely examined, the light cast by this golden blazing sun is significantly different from usual.

It almost completely sheds the scorching intent burning all things, gaining a power of purifying the Divine Soul.

Because these falling strands of golden light are the pure Wish Power that Fang Cheng has accumulated over more than half a year.

In other words, after cultivating Great Brightness Meditation, Fang Cheng can freely convert the True Sun Fire into the form of "Buddha’s Light".

The light illuminates the world, and the rain washes the earth.

Moist mist vaporizes from the wet soil in lush white clouds.

A vibrant rainbow bridge rises from the ground, spanning over undulating mountain ridges and the flying eaves of great halls, finally landing in the moss-covered courtyard of Gufeng Temple.

This dazzling sun shower unexpectedly breaks the isolated Barrier, pattering down, drenching the shoulders of the monks.

The rainwater, infused with vast Wish Power and Buddha’s Light, repeatedly rinses their illusory soul bodies.

The profound karma entangling them for two thousand years shows signs of dissolution under this utterly pure power.

The lifeless aura surrounding them, like ice and snow meeting the warm sun of early spring, transforms into wisps of black smoke, gradually rising and dissipating.

In the courtyard, the monks’ sweeping movements gradually slow.

Inside the grand hall, the monotonous sound of wooden fish beating also noticeably pauses.

Unanimously, they halt in their tracks, slightly tilting their heads, welcoming the descending light rain from the sky.

Though the confusion deep in their eyes has yet to fully fade, the stiff, wooden expressions have already relaxed somewhat, faintly showing the liveliness of the living.

Dozens of withered remnants stand quietly, bathing in the rain, indulging in the long-missed Buddha’s Light.

They greedily absorb this pure Wish Power, a faint golden hue emerging on their body surfaces, their outlines becoming increasingly solid.

High in the clouds, Fang Cheng observes the scene below.

He can clearly perceive the subtle changes occurring within Gufeng Temple.
