The scarred middle-aged man's impenetrable estate was blasted open by artillery. Lin Fan, accompanied by Li Zixia, led a military unit in, quickly neutralizing the guards and securing the premises. While the Earth Wolf Gang's staff attempted to destroy data, Li Zixia managed to save the server. The scarred boss escaped, likely north into the mountains or via a secret passage. Meanwhile, two FBI agents, Rachel and Roosevelt, were found and freed, astonished to learn Lin Fan had mobilized the local military.

An SUV was tearing along the rugged mountain road in a sorry panic.

Inside the car, a man in a suit was driving, Scarface Middle-aged Man sat in the passenger seat, and only two personal henchmen were in the back.

Scarface Middle-aged Man would never have imagined even in his dreams that in just one night he’d end up fleeing for his life; the man who’d always been so untouchable was now this pathetic.

Just thinking that all of this was Lin Fan’s doing made Scarface Middle-aged Man furious; he cursed nonstop all the way.

"Boss!" the man in the suit suddenly called out, cutting off the spittle-flying tirade of Scarface Middle-aged Man.

Scarface Middle-aged Man was mid-curse: "What?"

The man in the suit said, "There’s a car chasing us!"

Scarface Middle-aged Man glanced at the rearview mirror. Sure enough, far behind them a car was speeding toward them, and the distance between them was closing fast.

The pursuers were here!

Scarface Middle-aged Man’s face changed: "What the hell, how did they catch up this fast? That’s impossible. Did they find our secret route?"

He was really pissed. The fortress he was so proud of had been taken in less than half an hour, and the escape tunnel he’d bragged about had been discovered too. All of it could only be blamed on that Asia punk.

"I won’t let him off!"

Scarface Middle-aged Man yelled to the two henchmen in the back, "Take them out!"

The two henchmen nodded, grabbed their guns, then opened the doors, leaned out on either side, and fired backward.

Bang! Bang!

Bullets slammed into the hood of the car behind, sparks flying.

Lin Fan eased off the gas to dodge the bullets and said to Rachel in the passenger seat, "Can you take them out?"

Rachel said, "I’ll give it a shot."

She drew her gun from her waist, stuck her arm out the window, and fired toward the front.

Like that, the two cars—one in front, one behind—kept up the chase while trading shots. For a moment things were locked in a stalemate.

But by comparison, the car in front had way heavier firepower. If they couldn’t suppress the other side’s guns, it would spell trouble for the car behind as time went on.

Luckily Rachel was an FBI Agent after all; she had some real skills. After a round of exchanging fire—

One of Rachel’s bullets hit one of the enemies—an Eastern Europe man—who tumbled off the vehicle with his gun.

One line of fire was neutralized.

The other gunman seemed spooked and went quiet for a moment.

Seizing the chance, Rachel leaned her upper body out the window, muzzle aimed at the car ahead.

Lin Fan stomped on the gas, the vehicle lunging forward, closing the distance to the car in front again.

The fire ahead had recovered; their guy leaned out again, trying to continue the barrage.

But...

His head had just poked out.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Rachel fired three shots in quick succession, one bullet hitting him square in the center of his forehead.

Another Eastern Europe man fell from the car.

"Yes!"

Rachel pulled her upper body back into the car, face lit up with delight.

"Nice shooting." Lin Fan glanced at her and smiled.

For some reason, getting praised by Lin Fan made Rachel feel especially proud. Maybe it was because in her heart Lin Fan was already like a god; getting praise from a regular person versus from a god was obviously different—the latter filled you with a whole other kind of pride.

"Thanks," Rachel said.

While talking, Lin Fan had already closed in fast, the gap between the two cars shrinking rapidly.

Bang!

Lin Fan rammed straight into them, the front of his car slamming hard into the rear of the car ahead.

The car in front jolted violently.

"Drive faster!"

Scarface Middle-aged Man urged the man in the suit.

He was about to lose his mind.

His two henchmen had both been taken out, and their car had just been rammed, almost shaking his lungs out. When had he ever been this humiliated?

He twisted around to check.

Scarface Middle-aged Man got a clear look—behind him were that Asia kid and that female FBI Agent.

"That little bitch! If I’d known, I would’ve put a bullet in her the first chance I got!"

Scarface Middle-aged Man was fuming, and seeing Lin Fan pissed him off even more; his eyes looked like they were about to spit fire.

"Drive faster!"

Seeing Lin Fan’s car closing in for another hit, Scarface Middle-aged Man shouted at the man in the suit.

Cold sweat ran down the suited man’s face. "Boss, this is already the fastest. If I go any faster, I’m afraid I’ll lose control—the road’s too rough..."

Bang!

Before he could finish, Lin Fan’s car slammed into their rear again. The vehicle jolted violently. The man in the suit scrambled to steady it; the car almost flipped off the road.

Scarface Middle-aged Man couldn’t take it anymore. He kicked his foot over and stomped on the gas pedal himself, trying to speed up and shake off Lin Fan.

The car shot forward, and sure enough, the distance from the car behind opened up.

"Hahahaha..." Scarface Middle-aged Man laughed.

But he hadn’t been laughing for long when—

Bang!

Suddenly their car slammed into a sudden bump in the road; one of the tires blew out on the spot, and the entire vehicle instantly went out of control, crashing sideways down the slope.

The car immediately flipped, rolling down the hillside. Fortunately the slope wasn’t that high; the vehicle was wrecked, but it didn’t explode.

Up on the slope, Lin Fan brought his car to a stop.

The two of them got out, about to head down to check the situation.

Rat-tat-tat-tat...

A violent burst of gunfire sprayed up from below the slope.

The fire was too fierce; Lin Fan and Rachel had no choice but to duck behind a big rock.

They saw Scarface Middle-aged Man with his head split and bleeding, looking totally beat-up. He had just crawled out of the overturned SUV, grabbed a gun, and was firing wildly.

His fire pinned Lin Fan and Rachel down.

"I’m gonna kill you! Die!"

Scarface Middle-aged Man screamed hysterically, shooting as he advanced up the slope.

At that moment Lin Fan and Rachel were hiding behind the rock, temporarily avoiding the gunfire. As soon as he got up top and came around the side, Lin Fan and Rachel would have nowhere to run.

Scarface Middle-aged Man thought he’d seized the initiative again. Lin Fan and Rachel would never have guessed that he still had a heavy weapon in the car; with the gun in his hands, it was more than enough to send Lin Fan and Rachel home in body bags.

He climbed up the slope.

Another wild burst of fire.

He came around, but where were Lin Fan and Rachel?

Scarface Middle-aged Man froze for a beat, and his trigger finger stopped with him.

"Hey!"

Suddenly a voice came from the side.

Scarface Middle-aged Man turned his head instinctively, raising his gun to spray toward the source of the sound.

But with a whoosh, there was a sharp crack of air— a pebble shot over, slamming into his shoulder. Like a bullet, it punched clean through, the violent impact instantly destroying his entire arm.

His whole arm went limp at once, hanging uselessly at his side. No matter how he tried, he couldn’t lift it again, let alone fire.

Scarface Middle-aged Man was stunned. He tried to switch the gun to his other hand, but Lin Fan wasn’t about to give him the chance.

The second pebble was already right behind, destroying his other arm. The impact, as powerful as a bullet, knocked Scarface Middle-aged Man straight off his feet, dropping him on his ass.

Cold sweat streamed down Scarface Middle-aged Man’s face; he was pale, eyes wide in shock. He couldn’t believe it—what had disabled him were two pebbles!

Rachel was just as shocked. If she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, she would never have believed someone could throw stones with the effect of gunfire.

Then Lin Fan and Rachel stepped out from behind the rock where they’d been hiding.

Rachel said, "I’ll go check down below."

Lin Fan walked up to Scarface Middle-aged Man and simply took the gun from him.

"Don’t kill me, I’ve got money, I’ve got lots of money, all of it can be yours!" Scarface Middle-aged Man begged, his urge to live making him crumble.

But Lin Fan had already aimed the gun at him, and without even wasting a single word, pulled the trigger.
