Starting as the President of a Billionaire Group Chapter 1664: Standing Up for You

Chapter 1664: Chapter 1998: Standing Up for You

The girl heard Ye Chen say he wanted to help and replied, “It’s Hualong Trading Co., Ltd.”

Ye Chen was taken aback.

What a coincidence? Isn’t this the company of Chen Fa that I dined with last time?

Ye Chen nodded and said, “I know the boss of that company, I’ll take you to seek justice.”

“Ah, really?” The girl looked worshipful and thrilled.

After all, who wouldn’t want to stay in a big city like Modu? The reason for leaving is truly no alternative.

The girl looked at Ye Chen in delight.

Ye Chen also seriously looked at the girl and said, “But before we go, you need to tell me if the manager really stole your design plan.”

The girl said, “I guarantee, the manager stole my plan.”

She even raised her hand and swore.

Ye Chen nodded.

He had to make sure what the girl said was true; if she deceived him, it would create a blunder.

“Then that’s settled, let’s go.”

Ye Chen waved his hand and said to other tenants paying rent, “Everyone, I have to leave first, I’ll come back for the rent later.”

With that, Ye Chen picked up a sack and left.

The tenants heard Ye Chen was leaving to help another tenant find a job, naturally, they had no objection.

Many here are workers and share empathy for the girl’s situation.

They certainly don’t want their peers to be bullied.

Ye Chen took the girl and got into the car.

In the car, Ye Chen chatted with the girl, only to discover her name was Huang Nan.

Twenty minutes later, Ye Chen drove to the Hualong Trading Company.

The receptionist asked, “Sir, may I know the reason for your visit?”

Ye Chen said, “My surname is Ye, I just had dinner with your boss yesterday, call your boss to see if he’s in.”

The receptionist gave Ye Chen a suspicious look.

“You just had dinner with the boss?”

The receptionist also remembered the boss indeed mentioned having dinner with a very important guest yesterday.

And the boss was very attentive to that guest.

Could it be the guest in front of her?

Thinking of this, the receptionist quickly dialed the boss’s number.

Soon, the call was disconnected, and the receptionist said, “Mr. Ye, the boss said he’d be here shortly.”

“Alright.”

After a while, there was a thumping sound by the staircase, Chen Fa hurriedly ran over, dragging his plump body.

Even the secretary behind him couldn’t keep up with his pace.

Chen Fa saw Ye Chen, both surprised and happy.

He never expected that Ye Chen would come.

With a enthusiastic expression, he said, “Mr. Ye, why did you come? You can give me a call in advance next time, and I’ll send a car to pick you up.”

Ye Chen said blandly, “Oh, sorry, I threw away your business card.”

…

Chen Fa almost burst into tears on the spot after hearing this.

Boss, can you be a bit more subtle with your words; this is slightly hurting.

The girl beside also froze.

Talking to the boss like this, is he not afraid of offending people?

But what intrigued the girl was that the boss seemed not at all angry.

What’s going on here?

In the girl’s memory, the boss had a very bad temper.

And often scolded people.

Chen Fa warmly said, “Mr. Ye, come, let’s go to my office and sit for a while.”

Ye Chen shook his head and said, “I’d better not; I have to deliver food later.”

Upon hearing Ye Chen’s words, Chen Fa was stunned.

He looked dazed, feeling like he might have misheard.

Even the secretary beside him looked at Ye Chen with a face of shock.

Chen Fa quickly wiped his sweat and said, “Mr. Ye, is there something you came here for this time?”

Ye Chen pointed to the girl beside and said, “She’s my tenant. Today she came crying to cancel her lease, saying she was fired by your company, but I don’t want her to cancel, so I came.”

Chen Fa felt as if countless grass mud horses were galloping in his heart.

A tenant canceling the lease, you as a boss come all this way, this is too fierce.

When I was starting my business, why didn’t I encounter such a good landlord?

Chen Fa wiped his sweat and said, “No problem, Miss Huang Nan can immediately reinstate her position, and her salary will double.”

Ye Chen shook his head and said, “No, that’s not the point. The point is my tenant said her marketing plan was stolen by executives at your company, and the manager then falsely accused her, forcing her to leave the company.”

Upon hearing Ye Chen’s words, Chen Fa’s face turned a bit grim.

With this said, things are changing.

This is not a matter of favors, but a management mess in his company.

Chen Fa looked at Huang Nan and said, “Is this true?”

Huang Nan nodded, “Yes, I can swear, that plan is truly mine.”

Ye Chen said, “The truth of the matter, I believe you can investigate.”

Chen Fa nodded and said, “Mr. Ye, don’t worry, I’ve personally addressed this matter, and will investigate thoroughly. If this is true, I will strictly deal with it.”

“No, if this is true, I’ll promote Huang Nan to be the manager.”

Ye Chen was very satisfied with this outcome.

Chen Fa said, “Mr. Ye, why don’t you go to our office and sit for a while? I’ll immediately launch an investigation, and results should be out soon.”

Ye Chen nodded and entered Chen Fa’s office.

Chen Fa personally went to start the investigation, while the secretary attended beside him.

Soon, the company was in a flurry of activity.

The investigation results came out quickly.

At this moment, Huang Nan looked excitedly at Ye Chen, her eyes full of admiration.

She even took a photo of Ye Chen’s profile sneakily and posted it on her social media circle.

“Landlord boss is so powerful, he actually helped me seek justice personally.”

Soon, Huang Nan’s friends gave a bunch of likes.

“Wow, is your landlord boss that amazing? Quickly introduce him to me.”

“Love it, love it, I’m totally in love with this landlord boss, he’s my type.”

“Though wearing a mask, no doubt, definitely a male god.”

Huang Nan looked at her friends asking for Ye Chen’s contact information on social media and said:

“Humph, you girls want to snatch my landlord boss too, I won’t tell you!”

“By the way, was there any effect when the landlord boss went?”

“Certainly effective, our boss has personally gone to investigate.”

“Landlord boss is too amazing.”

…

About ten minutes later, Chen Fa returned covered in sweat.

“Mr. Ye, the investigation results are out.”

“Miss Huang was completely right, it was the manager who stole Miss Huang’s plan and found reasons to dismiss her, and this matter is related to the deputy general manager.”

At this point, Chen Fa was very angry, as this matter involved the deputy general manager.

This suggests he failed in checking personnel.

Chen Fa said, “Mr. Ye, rest assured, I’ve already dismissed two people, and Miss Huang will be promoted to manager immediately. Since her plan was stolen by the manager, it shows she has the capability to be a manager.”
