Starting as the President of a Billionaire Group Chapter 1659: Memorizing the Résumé

Chapter 1659: Chapter 1993: Memorizing the Résumé

Lin Shiyin was so aggrieved that she was about to cry.

“I really know Mr. Ye, it’s up to you whether you believe it or not.”

“Really?”

Seeing Lin Shiyin’s expression, Chen Fa hesitated for a moment.

Although he thought that a charity association staff member had a very small chance of knowing Mr. Ye.

After all, Ye Chen is a world-level big shot, how could he know someone ordinary like Lin Shiyin?

But right now, he’s most anxious because he has no way to get to know Mr. Ye Chen.

What if this is a chance?

Alright, let’s see.

If it’s true, it’s an unexpected surprise.

If it’s fake.

A cold glint flashed in Chen Fa’s eyes.

“Alright, we’ll meet at the Four Bays Hotel tomorrow. You don’t need to pay, I’ll host.”

Zhang Fa said half-believingly, “You get Mr. Ye to come, and if you manage that, I’ll immediately donate five million to your association.”

“Really?” Lin Shiyin said happily.

At this moment, hearing that there might be a turning point, Lin Shiyin was very happy.

At the same time, Lin Shiyin was also very nervous inside.

Although things have been half-successful, President Zhang had stated that if she deceives him, she has to bear responsibility.

If it’s discovered that Ye Chen is a fake, the consequences would probably be very dire.

“Will this work?”

At this moment, Lin Shiyin was also uncertain.

Lin Shiyin, worried, said, “Ye Chen, maybe forget it, I don’t want you to be legally pursued because of me.”

Ye Chen smiled, “You have so little faith in me. If I say it’s okay, it definitely is. Don’t worry.”

Ye Chen smiled as he said, “Tell me, what should I wear to go?”

Lin Shiyin thought for a moment and said, “Of course you need to wear a suit. You have to look like Mr. Ye to pass off successfully.”

Saying this, Lin Shiyin took Ye Chen to the mall.

Ye Chen was amused and annoyed.

Originally, he was just playing himself, but now he’s being made to dress up as himself.

What’s going on!

After a meticulous makeover, Ye Chen walked out of the fitting room.

Now, Ye Chen’s appearance was really impressive.

Even Lin Shiyin was mesmerized the moment she saw Ye Chen.

Ye Chen was really handsome, practically like a domineering CEO.

The next day, Ye Chen found Lin Shiyin.

Seeing Ye Chen’s attire, Lin Shiyin was dumbfounded.

“Ye Chen, where’s the outfit I prepared for you yesterday?”

Ye Chen said, “I think that outfit didn’t suit me.”

Lin Shiyin was speechless.

That outfit was unsuitable, but this one is?

Ye Chen’s clothes were far too casual.

T-shirt, sneakers, just like a college student.

Not at all like a domineering CEO.

Ye Chen said, “I feel Mr. Ye is very low-key, so the more ordinary the outfit, the more it should resemble him.”

Lin Shiyin looked at the time. It was too late for Ye Chen to go back and change; they might as well give this a try.

Lin Shiyin still felt that Ye Chen’s outfit was unreliable.

In Lin Shiyin’s mind, rich people should be dressed in suits and have ties.

Ye Chen was equally speechless about Lin Shiyin’s view.

“What do you think a CEO should be like?”

Lin Shiyin blinked her eyes.

Should be wearing a suit, with a tie, and it should include a gold watch. Overall, it should be a display of wealth.

Ye Chen patted Lin Shiyin’s shoulder.

“Girl, you’ve watched too many idol dramas.”

“Do you have some misunderstanding about rich people?”

“Actually, the richer people are, the more low-key they should be.”

Ye Chen chuckled and said, “Many top-tier rich people dress very low-key. For them, as long as they’re comfortable, that’s enough, because at their level, they don’t need brand names to prove anything.”

Lin Shiyin rolled her eyes at Ye Chen and said, “Hmph, I think you’re just lazy.”

Ye Chen tapped Lin Shiyin’s head lightly and said, “Rest assured, I won’t let you down.”

Lin Shiyin shook her head helplessly.

She had a feeling that with Ye Chen’s outfit, people would surely doubt his identity.

Now, even President Chen wouldn’t be convinced seeing him, and Lin Shiyin herself was not confident.

“Also, you need to memorize Mr. Ye’s resume.”

Lin Shiyin was doing her utmost to ensure Ye Chen could pass.

Looking at the thick resume, Ye Chen was speechless.

“Wait, where did you find all this?”

“Downloaded from LM’s website, and some were gathered from online searches.”

Actually, these resumes were concocted by Golden Shield Company, and many parts were fake.

Ye Chen looked at his resume, feeling bewildered.

Lin Shiyin said, “If you don’t seriously memorize Mr. Ye’s resume, you’ll expose yourself upon meeting him!”

Ye Chen: “…”

Ye Chen never thought he’d have to memorize his own resume one day.

Most importantly, much of the content in this resume was fake.

Sigh, how frustrating.

Ye Chen said, “Honestly, there’s no need to memorize the resume.”

Lin Shiyin replied seriously, “Of course you have to memorize it, go on, study it thoroughly.”

In the taxi, Ye Chen looked at the dense pages of the resume with some headache.

Damn, most of the content in this resume is bogus.

After reading this supposed resume, Ye Chen even started doubting whether he was Mr. Ye.

What Niutang University, I’ve never studied abroad. Since when did I graduate with a PhD from Niutang University?

This resume is a total mess.

The resume even includes his work experiences.

What Angel Investment Company, what fund manager?

Ye Chen had no clue what those were.

The resume even says Ye Chen won the national ballroom dance championship, fencing championship, and the golf tour championship.

Damn, is this really me?

Ye Chen didn’t even know he was so amazing.

After looking at it for a long time, Ye Chen couldn’t bear it anymore.

Lin Shiyin earnestly asked, “Did you memorize all the contents inside?”

Ye Chen replied seriously, “Of course I’ve memorized it.”

Lin Shiyin looked at Ye Chen with suspicion, “Really, Mr. Ye’s resume is quite long.”

Ye Chen said, “Anyway, it’s all made up.”

Lin Shiyin was shocked looking at Ye Chen, “What do you mean made up?”

Ye Chen chuckled and said, “Don’t worry, I have a photographic memory.”

“Then let me ask questions.”

“First question, which university did Mr. Ye attend?”

“Modu University of Technology.”

Lin Shiyin listened to the answer speechlessly, “That’s your university, the person actually went to Niutang University.”

Ye Chen was speechless.

Clearly, he gave the correct answer.

“Please tell me, what’s your advisor’s name at Niutang University?”

Ye Chen was speechless.

These people even forged it this accurately?

“Lopez.”

Lin Shiyin replied, “No, it’s Allens.”

Ye Chen was very speechless, this resume is overly detailed.

Lin Shiyin urgently asked, “Did you even look at the resume!”
