Ye Chen heard his phone ringing and glanced at it, surprised to see it was Tian Tian calling.

He wondered to himself, didn’t the Two People just finish a call, why is she calling again.

Ye Chen picked up, but before he could speak, Tian Tian’s anxious voice came through.

"Ye Chen, my dad’s locked me up, hurry over and save me."

"Tian Tian, slow down, I didn’t quite catch that just now."

Ye Chen frowned as he spoke.

Tian Tian had really been talking a bit too fast just now, and Ye Chen hadn’t had time to react.

"Ye Chen, just come to my place, I can’t get out of the house right now."

Tian Tian said gloomily.

"Tian Tian, what’s your address?"

Ye Chen asked.

"Building 16, Bibo Garden."

Tian Tian replied.

After Ye Chen finished, he hung up. He didn’t head out right away, but instead called his former delivery coworker.

"Little Zhou, it’s Brother Chen."

Little Zhou, who was in the middle of a delivery, hurriedly said after hearing that.

"Brother Chen, we haven’t talked in forever, I’ve really missed you. What made you think of calling me today?"

Little Zhou was an honest kid; whatever he thought, he said.

"Oh, here’s the thing, I need you to do me a favor."

Ye Chen got straight to the point.

"Brother Chen, just say it."

"Help me find out who’s in charge of deliveries in the Bibo Garden area."

"Brother Chen, what are you asking that for?"

Funny enough, Little Zhou was currently responsible for deliveries in that exact area.

"Nothing much. Just ask around and then call me back. I’ll treat you to a meal later."

Ye Chen said as he was about to hang up.

At that moment, Little Zhou spoke up.

"Brother Chen, I’m the one delivering to that area right now."

"Perfect. Where are you, Little Zhou? I’ll come find you right now."

When Ye Chen heard that, he felt it was too much of a coincidence. He’d been planning to have Little Zhou ask around.

He hadn’t expected it to end up being much simpler than that.

"Brother Chen, I’m on the way to Bibo Garden right now."

Little Zhou replied.

"Okay, find a spot near there to wait for me. We’ll talk when we meet."

After Ye Chen hung up, he hurriedly got dressed and drove toward Bibo Garden.

He knew that a place like Bibo Garden was definitely where rich people lived, and the security guards there were usually quite sharp-eyed.

Someone like Little Zhou on an electric scooter would definitely be stopped.

After driving for a while, Ye Chen reached the area near Bibo Garden and dialed Little Zhou.

"Little Zhou, where are you?"

"Brother Chen, I’m right across the road from the complex."

Little Zhou waved toward Ye Chen as he spoke.

He’d just seen a very flashy sports car driving this way and guessed in his mind that it might be Ye Chen’s car.

Sure enough, he’d guessed right.

Ye Chen parked on the roadside and walked over to Little Zhou.

"Little Zhou, give me the deliveries for this area."

Little Zhou looked at Ye Chen with a puzzled expression and asked.

"Brother Chen, what do you want the deliveries for this complex for?"

"Classified."

Ye Chen put a finger to his lips in a shushing gesture.

Since Ye Chen didn’t want to say, Little Zhou was too embarrassed to ask again and could only hand over the two packages.

Ye Chen looked at the two packages and let out a long breath of relief. Thankfully there were only two—if there were more, he’d have to deliver to a bunch of households.

"Alright, I’ll handle things here. You go deliver to the other complexes. I’ll treat you to a meal later."

Ye Chen said to Little Zhou.

"Okay, Brother Chen."

After speaking, Little Zhou rode off on his scooter.

Ye Chen took the two packages and got back into his car.

He glanced at them and couldn’t help smiling, because one of them was Tian Tian’s.

This worked out perfectly—he could go straight in and check out the situation.

Ye Chen drove into the complex; the security guards saw the sports car and didn’t even ask anything, just waved him through.

After parking, Ye Chen got out with the packages. After he delivered one of them, he headed toward the building where Tian Tian lived.

He pressed the doorbell, and the door was opened by a man in a black suit.

"What are you doing here? Get out of here."

The bodyguard said bluntly.

"Hello, I’m the deliveryman. There’s a package for Miss Yang here, I need her to sign for it in person."

Ye Chen said with a smile.

Just then, another bodyguard brought Tian Tian downstairs.

When Tian Tian saw Ye Chen, she kept a straight face.

Afraid of arousing the bodyguards’ suspicion, the Two People pretended not to know each other.

Tian Tian opened the package, glanced at it, and said.

"Could you come inside with me for a moment? Something seems wrong with this package."

Ye Chen understood instantly and followed Tian Tian inside.

Since the bodyguards were standing watch at the door, they couldn’t really hear what Ye Chen and Tian Tian were talking about.

"Tian Tian, your house is really something—there are even two bodyguards posted at the door. I’m guessing your dad’s terrified someone will sneak in and steal the family treasure."

Ye Chen joked.

"Ye Chen, don’t tease me. Right now I’m like a bird in a cage, I’ve lost my freedom, you have to save me."

Tian Tian said with a pitiful look.

Then she seemed to think of something and looked at Ye Chen, asking.

"Weren’t you doing food delivery? How come you’re doing packages now? Oh, I’m so dumb, I should’ve just ordered takeout earlier, then you could’ve come."

"Miss, this is me coming up with a plan to rescue you. Besides, how am I supposed to get you out if I come as a food delivery guy?"

Ye Chen rolled his eyes at Tian Tian.

"I don’t care, anyway you have to get me out. I don’t want to be stuck at home like this forever."

While Ye Chen and Tian Tian were chatting, one of the bodyguards kept a very wary eye on them.

He said to his partner.

"Why is that delivery guy talking to Miss in there for so long? Something’s not right, is it?"

The other bodyguard glared at him and said.

"What could be wrong? Besides, Miss asked for it. You can’t exactly stop her, can you? Don’t forget our job is just to watch over Miss. Everything else has nothing to do with us. As long as Miss doesn’t step out that door, it’s fine. Who she talks to is none of our business."

The bodyguard nodded, agreeing with him.

After all, Tian Tian was the Yang Family’s young lady. Even if she’d had a falling-out with her father and got grounded.

Once father and daughter made up, she’d still be the high-and-mighty young miss. If she ever complained about the bodyguards in front of her father, the Two People would definitely lose their jobs.

Ye Chen also noticed the bodyguards’ looks and said to Tian Tian.

"Miss Yang, how about this—whatever’s wrong, you can sort it out with the seller."

After speaking, Ye Chen walked toward the door and nodded to the two bodyguards.
