Seeing Zhang Yuan walk over, Ye Chen smiled and stood up to introduce them.

"Zhang Yuan, this is my girlfriend, Su Wanyi."

Su Wanyi wasn’t pretentious at all and smiled as she said,

Upon hearing this, Zhang Yuan nodded happily.

This brought her and Su Wanyi even closer, as if they were sisters.

"Zhang Yuan, just as Ye Chen and I were about to dine here, join us. Consider it a celebration of you joining the company."

Su Wanyi said with a smile.

Before Zhang Yuan could answer, she called over the waiter and ordered a few dishes.

The three of them had a very enjoyable meal.

Su Wanyi’s face was now beaming with a smile, unlike her earlier troubled expression.

Ye Chen indeed helped her out a lot; he didn’t expect to hire a secretary so quickly, and such a capable one too.

After the meal, the three of them parted ways.

Ye Chen and Su Wanyi decided to wander around the mall. With the secretary issue resolved, Su Wanyi was now in the mood for shopping.

"What little girlfriend, you’re totally wronging me. Zhang Yuan and I are just regular friends. I just sympathized with her, being a girl alone in Modu."

He wouldn’t explain to Su Wanyi if she misunderstood his relations with other women.

But Zhang Yuan was different since she was going to work in Su Wanyi’s company from now on.

They continued shopping for a while longer. Su Wanyi, once she started shopping, couldn’t stop herself.

Poor Ye Chen ended up carrying bags full in both hands.
