Ye Chen helps the old grandpa escape the dungeon. Meanwhile, Big Child and Second Child confront the Snake Spirit and Scorpion Spirit, who believe they have lured Ye Chen into a trap to refine an elixir. When a subordinate reports Ye Chen and the old grandpa's escape, the Snake Spirit becomes suspicious of a traitor within her ranks. Ye Chen and the old grandpa prepare to face the returning Snake Spirit.

The 'Big Child' and 'Second Child' followed the Snake Spirit without any apprehension of her schemes. Previously, their overconfidence in their own formidable abilities had led to an underestimation of the situation, resulting in their capture. This is the recklessness of youth...

As the Snake Spirit's voice drew nearer, Ye Chen spotted a familiar figure. 'Big Child, why is he here?' Ye Chen mused internally. He had explicitly instructed them to remain at home, yet they had inexplicably appeared. Furthermore, Ye Chen observed an orange Huluwa walking alongside 'Big Child', undoubtedly the 'Second Child'. Ye Chen felt a sense of helplessness at their unexpected arrival.

The Snake Spirit noticed Ye Chen and the elder, showing no surprise. However, the Scorpion Spirit's eyes widened. He finally grasped why the Huluwa had been unable to perceive anyone in the dungeon: there was no one there. This meant Ye Chen and the elder had successfully navigated the traps to reach this point. 'You...' the Scorpion Spirit stammered, pointing at the two, his face etched with fear. But before he could finish, the Snake Spirit intervened. Smiling at both the elder and the young ones, she said, 'You have been waiting, haven't you? Look who I've brought for you.'

'Grandpa, Big Brother, we were terribly worried,' 'Big Child' and 'Second Child' exclaimed, rushing towards the duo. The Snake Spirit then added with a smile, 'Little ones, I haven't deceived you, have I? I was merely inviting them for a drink, not imprisoning them in some dungeon as you claimed.' The elder was about to challenge the Snake Spirit's deception but was interrupted by Ye Chen. Without acknowledging the Snake Spirit, he turned to 'Big Child' and 'Second Child', asking, 'Why did you come here? I told you to wait at home, but you didn't listen.' 'Big Child' replied, his face conveying a sense of wronged grievance, 'I was worried about you and Grandpa, so I came with Second Brother. Thankfully, you are unharmed.' He then looked towards the Snake Spirit and inquired, 'Fairies, you can permit us to leave now, can't you?'

Naturally, the Snake Spirit's words were merely a pretense; she had no intention of releasing them easily. After all, allowing a tiger to return to its den always poses a threat for the future. 'Certainly, certainly, you can depart at any moment. However, shouldn't you first sample our homemade wine? If you refuse, it would seem I am neglecting you as guests. Should this matter spread, it would be exceedingly unfair to me,' the Snake Spirit stated with a feigned expression of distress.

'Very well then, I doubt you are capable of any tricks,' 'Big Child' declared, taking a seat without hesitation. Observing his elder brother sit down, 'Second Child' followed suit. Ye Chen and the elder remained standing, aware that the Snake Spirit harbored no genuine goodwill. Ye Chen, having experienced her schemes before, knew that without his preparedness, they would still be confined to the dungeon. The elder was about to caution the two Huluwa against trusting the cunning Snake Spirit, but Ye Chen held him back. If the Snake Spirit allowed them to depart, he would let the matter rest. However, if she attempted any further treachery, she would face his fierce retribution.

Seeing that everyone had taken a seat, the Snake Spirit gestured for her subordinates to present the wine and dishes to entertain the guests. The subordinates departed to fulfill the order, soon returning with the refreshments. Upon seeing the wine before them and inhaling its fragrant aroma, 'Big Child' and 'Second Child' prepared to lift their bowls for a drink. However, Ye Chen unexpectedly overturned their bowls. This sudden action startled both 'Big Child' and 'Second Child'. 'Big Brother, what are you doing?' they questioned in unison. 'This wine is poisoned. Look at the wine spilled on the ground,' Ye Chen responded, annoyance evident in his voice. He couldn't comprehend such naivety and gullibility in a Huluwa; it was no wonder they had been captured.

'Big Child' and 'Second Child' looked down and observed the hot steam rising from the spilled wine, clearly indicating it had been tampered with. 'Fairies, how dare you attempt to harm us? See how I will tear you to pieces!' 'Big Child' declared, glaring fiercely at the Snake Spirit. 'Little ones, you are far too innocent, easily deceived,' the Snake Spirit scoffed. Having been exposed publicly, the Snake Spirit saw no need to maintain her facade and revealed her true intentions. She turned to her subordinates, her voice laced with venom, pointing at Ye Chen and the others, 'Seize them all, and ensure no one escapes.' As her command echoed, the subordinates lunged towards Ye Chen and his companions. 'Courting death!'

Now enraged, 'Big Child' and 'Second Child' found the deception utterly intolerable. Utilizing their innate divine strength, 'Big Child' seized a charging fairy and hurled him upwards. The fairy rocketed into the air like a projectile before crashing heavily onto the ground, meeting an instant death. Despite possessing the 'Thousand-Mile Eye' and 'Downwind Ear', 'Second Child' lacked combat prowess. Witnessing the fairies advancing upon him, Ye Chen swiftly moved to block their path. Ye Chen employed the same tactic as 'Big Child' to deal with the approaching fairies.

Fairy subordinates were grievously injured, with some meeting instant death and others suffering broken bones.

The cave resonated with mournful cries, sending shivers down the spines of anyone who heard them.

Upon witnessing the swift defeat of her minions, the Snake Spirit was left in disbelief at the formidable power displayed by Ye Chen and Big Child.

Her shock intensified, causing her eyes to widen and her jaw to drop in astonishment.

Observing this turn of events, the Scorpion Spirit became flustered and urgently inquired, "What is our next move, my queen?"

"Next move? All you do is ask! Stop them immediately!" the Snake Spirit retorted, her voice sharp with urgency as Ye Chen and Big Child closed in on her.

She required precious moments to activate her magical artifact, but the attackers were already upon her.

Suddenly, a devious scheme illuminated her eyes, a plan forming in an instant.

She then relayed this whispered plan to the Scorpion Spirit.

What was initially a look of panic on the Scorpion Spirit's face transformed into one of pure delight upon hearing the Snake Spirit's words.

He repeatedly exclaimed, "My queen, your plan is truly brilliant!"

Second Child, having overheard their exchange, discerned the Snake Spirit's intent to target him and Grandpa.

He quickly called out, "Big Brother, hurry over here and guard Grandpa!"

Ye Chen and Big Child swiftly dispatched the remaining fairies nearby and raced towards the elder, intending to shield him alongside Second Child.

Witnessing this maneuver, the Snake Spirit's features contorted into a malicious smirk as she produced the Ruyi and began to chant an incantation.

By the time realization dawned upon them, it was regrettably a little too late.
