Ye Chen, after a brief misunderstanding with the system and a moment of embarrassment, returns to the Huluwa to get directions to the spirits' lair. He sets off on his motorcycle, facing a long and arduous journey. Upon finally reaching the mountain, Ye Chen forcefully enters the spirits' hideout, confronting the Snake Spirit and Scorpion Spirit. The Snake Spirit attempts to deceive Ye Chen, luring him in with false hospitality and a plan to drug him, but Ye Chen sees through her ruse.

The minion presented the drugged wine, exchanging a knowing glance with the Snake Spirit.

Ye Chen scoffed inwardly, thinking, 'Playing such petty games before me? I mastered these tricks before you were even born.'

"Little brother, do try this exquisite wine quickly," the Snake Spirit urged with a smirk.

Ye Chen nodded, retrieved the goblet from the table, tilted his head back, and drained the contents in one swift motion.

Witnessing this, a malicious grin spread across the Snake Spirit's features; she was certain Ye Chen had fallen into her trap.

After all, her subordinates had already been instructed to lace the wine beforehand, meticulously preparing it for Ye Chen's consumption.

Once Ye Chen was incapacitated, she planned to have him confined with Huluwa's grandpa, thereby setting a perfect snare for the Huluwa children to stumble into, one by one.

Shortly after Ye Chen finished the wine, a wave of dizziness washed over him. He glared, pointing a trembling finger at the Snake Spirit seated above, and stammered, "You, you, you actually put something in the—"

Before he could utter another word, Ye Chen collapsed onto the table. Despite his minions' frantic attempts to rouse him, he remained unresponsive.

The Snake Spirit gazed at Ye Chen slumped on the table, her face contorting into a wicked smile.

"Kid, you're far too naive. You genuinely thought you could contend with your auntie? Do you even grasp your own limitations?" the Snake Spirit taunted, hands planted firmly on her hips.

"Madam is truly astute—you apprehended this brat without incurring a single casualty."

"Men, carry this brat away and confine him with that old man."

In accordance with her command, several Fairies stepped forward, hoisted Ye Chen's limp body, and proceeded towards the dungeon.

Unbeknownst to them, Ye Chen was fully cognizant of the entire charade; he was merely feigning unconsciousness.

With his formidable abilities, Ye Chen could have easily subdued both the Snake Spirit and the Scorpion Spirit at that very moment.

The primary reason he refrained was the Snake Spirit's profound cunning; the exact location where Huluwa's grandpa was being held was undoubtedly well-concealed.

Once he ascertained the location, Ye Chen could then initiate his plan; neither the Snake Spirit nor the Scorpion Spirit posed any genuine threat to him.

Precisely as Ye Chen had anticipated, the holding area was exceptionally hidden, fortified with intricate traps and fraught with peril.

At this instant, Ye Chen silently congratulated himself for not rushing in blindly, as doing so would have undoubtedly resulted in his injury.

Meanwhile, the Snake Spirit addressed her subordinates, "That brat in the yellow robe was undoubtedly the Third Child. Hasten to disseminate the news of the Third Child's capture; my intention is to lure the remaining six brats here as well."

"Your Majesty's wisdom is unparalleled," the Scorpion Spirit chimed in obsequiously from the side.

"Cease your flattery and move aside. Should you falter with panic again the next time something occurs, I shall confine you with the others," the Snake Spirit retorted sharply, fixing the Scorpion Spirit with a glare.

"Y-yes, yes, Madam is absolutely correct to reprimand me. I shall exercise greater caution henceforth and refrain from such behavior," the Scorpion Spirit replied, head bowed.

The Snake Spirit's minions promptly executed her orders, broadcasting the news of Ye Chen's capture, which coincidentally reached the Second Child.

The Second Child, blessed with the Thousand-Mile Eye and Downwind Ear, possessed the ability to perceive what others could not and discern what others could not hear.

"Oh no, this is dire, truly dire!" the Second Child exclaimed loudly as he swung precariously on the gourd vine.

The Big Child, hearing his brother's alarm, immediately inquired, "Second Brother, what has transpired?"

He sensed that his second brother had either witnessed or overheard something significant.

"Big Brother, that food-delivery big brother has been captured," the Second Child reported grimly.

"Sigh, I had a premonition. He was no match for that Snake Spirit. I shall depart immediately to rescue him and Grandpa." As the Big Child spoke, he prepared to depart.

At that precise moment, the orange gourd detached from the vine and plummeted to the ground, transforming into a young boy identical to the Big Child, distinguished only by the orange gourd adorning his head and the matching orange attire he wore.

"Big Brother, I shall accompany you," the Second Child declared, grasping the Big Child's hand.

He then glanced upwards at the five remaining gourds on the vine and announced, "Brothers, remain here at home. Big Brother and I will rescue Grandpa and that fellow, and we shall return promptly."

With their pronouncement made, the two brothers hurried towards the Fairies' cavern.

By the time they arrived at the cave's entrance, Ye Chen had already been transported to the dungeons.

He observed the elderly man lying bound on the ground, recognizing him as the grandpa the Huluwa children had spoken of.

Upon seeing Ye Chen, the old man's heart ached. He approached the seemingly unconscious Ye Chen and inquired, "Child, what has happened to you?"

"Old man, we've brought you a companion so you won't feel lonely in here," one of the subordinates quipped with a chuckle.

Despite hearing them, Ye Chen remained still, feigning unconsciousness. He understood it wasn't the opportune moment to reveal his true state.

"This brat practically walked right into our trap. Locked in here, he won't be able to escape even if he had wings," one of Snake Spirit's men remarked to the Fairy beside him as he secured the heavy door.

Due to the remote location, riddled with intricate mechanisms and hidden traps, gaining access was exceedingly difficult. Consequently, no additional guards were deemed necessary.

Once the Snake Spirit's men had departed, the old man began to call out urgently, "Child, child, wake up, please hurry and wake up."

At that very moment, Ye Chen's eyes fluttered open. He responded with a smile, "Grandpa, I'm alright. I was merely toying with those Fairies just now."

Witnessing Ye Chen awaken, the worried lines on the old man's face smoothed out, replaced by a warm smile.

"You're unharmed, that's wonderful, truly wonderful," he said, a smile gracing his lips.

His gaze then fell upon Ye Chen, and he inquired, "Child, why were you apprehended and brought to this place?"

"I came to rescue you. I gave my word to the Huluwa kids that I would get you out of this confinement," Ye Chen replied with a grin.

"Rescue me? But you've been imprisoned yourself—how are we to escape? Moreover, this place is laden with traps; one misstep could cost you your life," Grandpa voiced his concerns with a frown.

"Grandpa, please don't fret. I deliberately allowed them to lock me up so that I could ascertain your exact location," Ye Chen explained swiftly.

Upon hearing Ye Chen's words, Grandpa seemed to grasp the situation, a look of guilt crossing his features. "Child, you have truly endured hardship for my sake."

Before Ye Chen could respond, Grandpa anxiously continued, "Are the Huluwa kids all safe and sound?"

"They are doing well, have no worries," Ye Chen assured him with a smile.

"Mm, that's good, that's truly good," Grandpa nodded in relief.

He understood the paramount importance of the Huluwa kids' safety. They were destined to liberate the common folk, the only ones capable of eradicating the Fairies and ending the people's suffering.

"Alright, Grandpa, this is hardly a place to linger. We have no time to waste; we must make our escape swiftly," Ye Chen stated calmly.

Observing the heavy iron chains that bound the old man, Ye Chen gently applied pressure with his hand. With a sharp crack, the chains snapped.

The broken chains cascaded off Grandpa's body, allowing him to finally stretch freely—a sensation he hadn't experienced in a long time.

Ye Chen then effortlessly broke the iron padlock on the door and swung it open. He hoisted Grandpa onto his back and proceeded to walk out with remarkable ease.

When Grandpa first laid eyes on Ye Chen, he harbored doubts about the young man's ability to truly rescue him.

However, witnessing the unfolding events, Grandpa was utterly astonished. His jaw dropped in shock—it was evident that Ye Chen was far from an ordinary individual.
