Ye Chen fought off a Tyrannosaurus to protect a savage he had befriended. Using his knowledge of the dinosaur's weakness, he blinded it with a spear and escaped on his motorcycle with the savage. Ye Chen then returned to the HiTea shop, where he was greeted by a worried Song Xiaoxiao. While waiting, Ye Chen received a system notification about completing a Worldwide Delivery order and receiving a reward.

After enduring countless trials, Ye Chen finally completed the 'Worldwide Delivery' order, anticipating a magnificent reward.

However, upon hearing the system's notification, he was utterly astonished.

A notification sound echoed within his mind.

"Congratulations to the host for completing the 'Worldwide Delivery' order. The reward is immense strength."

Ye Chen was rendered speechless by this reward.

"System, are you kidding me? I'm not becoming a mover, so what's the use of this? Can we perhaps negotiate for a different reward?" Ye Chen inquired of the system.

"Negative. System-provided rewards cannot be exchanged. If the host does not desire it, the system can retract it," the system stated flatly.

"No, no, I want it, I definitely want it," Ye Chen quickly asserted.

After all, he had risked his life to earn it; there was no reason to relinquish it.

Lately, the system had become increasingly uncooperative, leaving Ye Chen feeling somewhat exasperated.

Xiaoxiao's voice cut through Ye Chen's musings.

"Ye Chen, what are you contemplating? Why are you lost in thought?"

"Oh, it's nothing significant," Ye Chen replied swiftly.

"They're about to call our number soon," Xiaoxiao announced, shaking the ticket in her hand with a smile.

"Alright, I'll go," Ye Chen said, taking the slip and rising to head towards the pick-up counter.

Soon thereafter, Ye Chen reappeared, carrying two beverages.

"Shall we go and decide what to eat?" Ye Chen inquired, holding the drinks in his left hand and Xiaoxiao's hand in his right.

Xiaoxiao stood up, and they strolled out of the tea shop, side-by-side.

The two individuals proceeded directly towards the dining levels.

It was undeniable that it had been quite some time since his last visit, and the alterations within Wanxiang City were substantial, boasting three entire floors dedicated to diverse culinary establishments.

There were even numerous eateries Ye Chen had yet to experience, much to Xiaoxiao's equal excitement.

With such an abundance of dining choices, Ye Chen found himself unsure of where to direct them.

Ultimately, however, they settled on Korean barbecue; Ye Chen's particular fondness for meat and disdain for vegetables made barbecue a perfect fit.

Furthermore, Xiaoxiao hadn't indulged in it for a considerable period and was also craving it.

The pair arrived at the barbecue restaurant, which was already bustling with patrons. They obtained a waiting number and sat to the side.

The ticket indicated three tables were ahead of them, suggesting the wait wouldn't be excessively long; they chose not to stray far from the restaurant's entrance, preferring to remain seated.

Their apprehension stemmed from the possibility of missing their number and facing the necessity of rejoining the queue.

Indeed, after less than thirty minutes, their turn arrived.

A waiter guided the couple to a table and presented them with the menu. They proceeded to order black snowflake beef, special plum pork, pork belly, premium beef tongue, lamb New York cut, and Korean beef bibimbap.

In essence, they selected a comprehensive assortment of pork, beef, and lamb.

Xiaoxiao, meanwhile, ordered a vegetable platter and a bowl of soybean soup.

Within five minutes, the waiter began to deliver the dishes sequentially.

They opted not to have the waiter grill the food; instead, Ye Chen took it upon himself to do the cooking.

Ye Chen was mindful that the waiter was already occupied with serving duties, and requesting them to grill as well would only add to their workload.

Moreover, Ye Chen preferred not to feel rushed during his meal, believing that grilling himself would allow him to dine at his own pace.

Throughout the meal, Ye Chen exhibited exemplary gentlemanly conduct, consistently placing the grilled meat onto Xiaoxiao's plate without partaking himself.

Observing this, Xiaoxiao felt a flicker of embarrassment: "Ye Chen, you should eat as well."

"You eat first; I will partake after you are satisfied," Ye Chen responded with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Xiaoxiao nodded, a feeling of warmth spreading through her heart.

Noticing the glistening moisture in Xiaoxiao's eyes, Ye Chen promptly inquired, "Xiaoxiao, what is troubling you?"

"It's nothing, I'm simply moved by your thoughtfulness," Xiaoxiao replied, her voice slightly choked.

"Xiaoxiao, you are rather easily moved," Ye Chen remarked, his expression one of mild speechlessness.

He considered that offering the girl the grilled meat first was a perfectly ordinary gesture, not warranting such a profound emotional response.

"Ye Chen, you are forbidden from teasing me. I heard from a friend that whenever she dines with her boyfriend, he solely focuses on his own meal, neglects her, and even consumes all the choice portions, frequently leading to arguments," Xiaoxiao retorted defiance.

In reality, Ye Chen felt it was a minor gesture, but since Xiaoxiao framed it so, he promptly adopted a proud demeanor: "Xiaoxiao, you see? Now you understand how good I am, don't you?"

"Yes, Ye Chen, I truly feel fortunate," Xiaoxiao affirmed with a smile.

Her smile was particularly endearing, accentuated by the two charming dimples that appeared on her cheeks.

"Alright, Ye Chen, I am quite full now. It is my turn to grill for you," Xiaoxiao declared with a smile, dabbing her mouth with a napkin.

"There is no need. I shall manage it myself. You can occupy yourself with your phone; please wait for me briefly," Ye Chen quickly declined.

"Ye Chen, do you believe my grilling skills are inadequate?" Xiaoxiao pouted, posing the question.

Ye Chen harbored no such intention; he simply wished to spare Xiaoxiao from performing such tasks.

However, noticing the crestfallen look on Xiaoxiao’s face, Ye Chen quickly reassured her: “I am truly fortunate to have sampled the grilled meat prepared by Miss Song.”

With that, he passed the grilling tongs to Xiaoxiao.

Xiaoxiao accepted the tongs with palpable excitement; it was, in fact, her very first attempt at grilling meat.

“Oh dear! Ye Chen, I’m so sorry, I seem to have burnt this piece of meat,” Xiaoxiao exclaimed, a note of apology in her voice.

“Ah, watch out! Ye Chen, this piece is undercooked; it would be best if you didn’t eat it,” she added with concern.

The entire grilling process was an exercise in suspense; an individual with a delicate heart condition might very well have been terrified by Xiaoxiao’s culinary adventures.

Throughout Xiaoxiao’s attempts at grilling, Ye Chen’s meat was consistently either charred beyond recognition or still raw.

Observing her poor performance, Xiaoxiao grew visibly embarrassed and handed the tongs back to Ye Chen, saying: “Ye Chen, please forgive me. My grilling skills aren’t very good; perhaps you should take over.”

Ye Chen responded with a smile as he took the tongs, remarking: “Xiaoxiao, you did wonderfully for your first time grilling.”

As a young lady from a wealthy background, these sorts of tasks were not typically expected of her.

Witnessing the girl’s willingness to undertake such an effort for him, Ye Chen felt a heartwarming sensation.

How could he possibly find fault with Xiaoxiao?

Furthermore, children often thrive with encouragement; one should be careful not to damage her burgeoning confidence.

Xiaoxiao, foregoing her phone, kept her attention fixed intently on Ye Chen as he grilled the meat.

In the quiet recesses of her heart, she made a firm resolution to improve her skills for the next time, determined not to be a source of trouble for Ye Chen.

Despite Ye Chen’s considerable wealth, he was not one to squander money needlessly.

After all, frugality has long been cherished as a fundamental virtue in China.

Once the very last morsel of rice had been consumed and the plates on the table were observed to be completely empty, Ye Chen contentedly placed a hand on his stomach.

He had to admit, he had ordered a bit too much food on this occasion, leaving him feeling rather full.
