Dio learned about Hamon energy and its destructive power, discovering he could instantly recharge it through controlled breathing. He then received a Stand from an egg, only to find it was Pearl Jam.

[Pearl Jam] belongs to Tonio Trussardi, an Italian chef who was first introduced in the fourth part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, titled Diamond is Unbreakable. He is the proprietor of Trussardi Restaurant, located in the suburbs of Morioh Town.

The scenes featuring [Pearl Jam] are quite scarce, and none of them involve combat. However, for the sake of 'enhancing the gameplay experience,' the developers have included every Stand from the series.

“Are they kidding me? Just because I own a restaurant now, I get this kind of Stand?”

He was at a loss for words. Utterly disappointed, his hopes of obtaining an overpowered Stand had been dashed; he had only received ingredients for cooking.

Clinging to a sliver of hope, Dio decided to examine [Pearl Jam]'s properties while discreetly lighting a cigarette…

Destructive Power: E

An E rank! He nearly fainted upon seeing this. The lowest possible value indicated that this Stand possessed virtually no offensive capabilities…

Speed: C

This attribute reflects the Stand's agility and reaction time. For a melee-oriented Stand, this is a reasonably high evaluation. It can be improved through consistent training.

Range: B

The maximum distance between the Stand and its user. The scale is as follows: E is 2 meters, D is 5 meters, C is 10 meters, B is 20 meters, and A is 50 meters.

Important Note! This parameter was established by the game's developers and does not, in any way, represent the original character from the series.

Persistence: A

This determines the maximum duration the Stand can remain materialized. A higher value signifies less Hamon energy consumption required to maintain its manifestation, and vice versa.

Precision: E

This indicates the Stand's accuracy and the effectiveness of its abilities on designated targets. Stands of the automatic type are typically assessed at Rank D or below, with rare exceptions.

Growth: C

This measures the Stand's potential, the utilization of its abilities and powers, and its capacity for overall improvement. The rank decreases as the user becomes more proficient with their Stand.

Special Abilities:

Diet – The capability to heal ailments by consuming a specific dish. The more delectable the dish, the more potent its curative effects.

“What on earth!”

He extinguished his cigarette and let out a sigh.

Having finished scrutinizing [Pearl Jam]'s attributes, Dio completely lost all hope. Surviving with mere tomatoes was out of the question. He either needed to acquire the next Stand as swiftly as possible or master Hamon at an accelerated pace.

The sole piece of positive news was that his Stand was exceptional. Even if [Pearl Jam] were attacked or damaged, there would be no repercussions for him. After all, his Stand was one of the 'food ingredients,' so it would logically be chopped up and cooked with other components!

Even if he were to utilize [Pearl Jam] as an ingredient, Dio could still summon another [Pearl Jam] since it was a colony Stand. Its A-rated Persistence meant an extremely low Hamon consumption rate. For a 'new player' like him, this was immensely beneficial, given his limited Hamon energy reserves. The maximum range of 20 meters from the user was also quite convenient!

“It seems the entity responsible for sending me here intends for me to become a master chef!” Dio, resigned to his fate, equipped [Pearl Jam] to his Stand slot and channeled his Hamon energy to summon these ‘tiny tomatoes.’

“Hey! Hey!”

With a cost of 10 Hamon energy, he summoned several ‘small tomatoes.’ These little entities flitted back and forth around Dio, inquisitively calling out to him and emitting peculiar chuckles.

“So, the Hamon consumption rate for one [Pearl Jam] is equivalent to the recovery rate from the breathing technique. As expected of A-level sustainability,” Dio mused. He attempted to summon three more [Pearl Jam] units, and the per-second consumption rate escalated to 4. His remaining 60 points of Hamon energy would only sustain this for 20 seconds.

“I’m pathetically weak!”

Dio, who promptly dismissed the Stand, had a sudden realization. While he had indeed been granted a special power, it did not automatically translate to immediate strength! He needed to grow stronger incrementally.

Taking a deep breath, he then noticed the most prominent ‘golden’ sign on the game interface!

Friendship Pool: Single draw costs one hundred Friendship Points. Ten free draws are available every 24 hours.

Golden Pool: Requires one gold bar per draw.

He was aware of this feature but could only utilize the Friendship Pool at the moment.

As one of the programmers who developed this game, Dio knew that the Friendship Pool was exclusively for impecunious players unwilling to spend real money. Consequently, the pool's contents were predominantly subpar. Only a handful of Stands resided within the Friendship Pool, and they were as weak as [Pearl Jam], boasting an abysmal draw rate of approximately one in a thousand.

To be precise, it represented merely ten out of a thousand total items within the pool!

Well, perhaps after a few hundred draws, a player might finally obtain a Stand from the Friendship Pool. Otherwise, it wouldn't be offered as a free incentive.

And clearly, a powerful Stand is associated with the Golden Pool. Naturally, players must spend actual money to access this feature.

According to the game's mechanics, friendship points can be accumulated through battles with friends, making it a relatively straightforward process.

However, the question remains whether this system translates to the current world. He struggles to even conceive how one might 'add another person' as a friend in real life. The only individual he's aware of thus far is Wiljos. What would he even say? “Hey, man! Let us fight together! To deepen our bond!”?

It's an absurd notion, to say the least.

As for the Golden Pools that specifically require a golden bar...

The very mention of a gold bar as a requirement leaves him perplexed. For instance, which specific gold bar is needed!?

Is it ten grams?

Fifty grams?

Or perhaps a hundred-gram gold bar?

Another issue arises: even if he were to somehow acquire the gold bars, how would the transaction even occur? Is it an automated process where, upon clicking draw, the gold bar he holds simply vanishes, or is there a more complex mechanism at play?

Because whether he desires it or not, he understands that engaging with the Golden Pool is essential for his survival in this world.

Meanwhile, others who find themselves transported to different worlds, much like himself, are granted formidable abilities. He, on the other hand, feels utterly helpless. Both his parents are gone, and his own power is somewhat difficult to wield effectively. It seems to be one insurmountable problem after another.

“To hell with it, I'll find something to eat first. This body of mine hasn't consumed anything yet. Even if the sustenance available here is unfamiliar, I have no other option, I suppose. It's certainly better than succumbing to starvation!”

As the sole Stand user within this Marvel Universe, and the only one possessing an edible Stand, he can scarcely comprehend the logistics of consuming it.
