SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 675 Yay! Adventure time with hubby!

Behind her stood John, her husband and Damon’s brother, looking like a defeated NPC who had surrendered his will to live long ago. He opened and closed his mouth repeatedly, eventually offering Damon a look of pure helplessness that clearly signaled: "She has been screaming since the moment we departed."
Damon merely blinked in response. Georgina remained where she was, tapping her foot impatiently; her face was a mask of entitlement, demanding both an explanation and a sincere apology with interest.
The surrounding crowd shifted uneasily, glancing back and forth. Everyone was well aware of Damon's reputation and could hardly believe someone possessed the audacity to address him with such disrespect.
Fortunately, before Damon was forced to respond, his mother stepped in. "Georgina, be quiet and mind your manners. Get over here right now." The ranting woman froze instantly, her finger still pointed at Damon and her mouth hanging open.
Damon’s mother marched forward, seizing Georgina by the wrist and dragging her back with the undeniable authority of a matriarch who had raised two monsters and still possessed the strength to rule her home.
"How many times must I tell you," she reprimanded her, "that you are not to yell at others without understanding the situation first?"
Georgina tried to find her voice to argue, but she suddenly went rigid. Erin’s lethal stare was fixed upon her, sending a sharp chill down her spine. Without another word, Georgina fell silent.
Having handled the situation, Damon’s mother finally released her.
Damon let out a sigh and turned his attention to the assembled group. "Well, as my sister-in-law was trying to put it," he remarked with dry humor, "I do wish to apologize to all of you. You are aware of recent events, and I believe it is vital that you stay out of sight for a while, at least until the situation stabilizes."
A heavy silence fell over the listeners. Damon went on, "There is a strong possibility—honestly, a certainty—that a B rank is hunting me. I refuse to take risks with your lives. This is only for a few days. Once the light faction is preoccupied with the abyss again, you can likely return to the mainland. Until then… what do you think about a special training location?"
"My Lord… please pardon my intrusion…" Kaelthorn was the first to speak. "If a B rank is involved…" He trembled, unable to finish his thought. "Then even the Crimson Mountains might not provide enough safety."
Damon gave a nod of acknowledgment. He was fully aware of the stakes. Anyone who had played Earth Online with any seriousness knew that B ranks were incredibly rare. They represented the peak of power in this world, the hidden titans who maintained a fragile global balance.
Even deep within these very Crimson Mountains, a B-rank ancestor resided.
However, that fact was irrelevant. That ancient vampire had no ties to Damon and no reason to shield him. He might not even know Damon existed. Damon’s struggles were his own to bear.
"I am aware…" Damon said, a faint smile touching his lips. "Which is why I am not relying on his protection. I am not relying on anyone." He raised an arm, pointing toward the dark, vast horizon stretching beyond the peaks. "Actually, there is another reason I gathered you here."
His expression turned sharp. "The wilderness." Every head turned instinctively toward the view.
That region was an ancient, untouched expanse that dominated the dark faction continent. It was a place of forests that swallowed the horizon, mountain ranges vibrating with mana storms, and valleys that could bury entire legions. It was a land where even the sun seemed hesitant to shine.
It was the one territory where even the mighty B-ranks feared to tread.
Letting the silence hang for a moment, Damon spoke softly. "The wilderness is the only location on this map that makes a B-rank think twice."
"My lord… You aren't suggesting we enter, are you?" Damon kept his eyes on the distant wilds. "Not the whole thing. We aren't going into the deep zones; I have no desire to die." He then smirked. "Just the outskirts."
Riven gasped in shock. "B-but… the outskirts are crawling with C-rank beasts!"
"C-rank territories," another voice whispered in fear.
"And the anomalies…" Ellora added, her brow furrowed with worry.
"And the opportunities," Damon countered. "Rare medicinal herbs, cracks leading to ancient dungeons, wild mana pools, and an abundance of evolution stones. These are the things you need to truly grow powerful." He turned back to face them fully.
"I know the game only launched a few days ago, but I sense that things are about to shift. I am referring to the hidden families. Perhaps some of you know more about this than I do." Damon directed a specific look toward Phoenix and Blood Wraith.
"When that moment arrives… we must be ready. Then there is the system event. How many of you received an invite?"
Only a few looked puzzled, specifically Kate and his family members. The rest of the group consisted of individuals who were exceptional in their own right; judging by their expressions, they had already secured their tokens for the system event.
Damon grinned. "Then what is the delay? Shall we begin our training?" Without a shred of hesitation, he activated a Blood Gate, opening a path directly to the edge of the wilderness.
Aurora was the first to react, looking as delighted as if she had been invited to a grand ball. "Yay! An adventure with my hubby! Finally!" She hurried toward the portal, blowing a kiss to Damon before stepping through. "I'll see you on the other side, darling."
Damon smiled. "Stay close once we pass through. The outskirts are manageable, but they are far from safe. Between mana storms, hibernating beast kings, and corrupted zones… we must remain together."
With that, Damon turned and entered the Blood Gate. He had gathered them and laid out the facts, but he had no intention of forcing their hand. They were adults capable of weighing the risks for themselves.
Those who wished to follow were free to step through the portal. If they had other plans, he would not hold it against them. This was especially true for someone like Arya, whose ties to him were minimal. He wouldn't mind if the young alchemist decided to return to the blood hall; she wasn't built for the front lines and was likely buried in her soul medicine research anyway.
