Alidus demonstrates the formidable power of the Garuda's beast form, surprising onlookers. Later, the saintess and others who received relics, and trained under a singular, exceptionally talented individual, prepare to fight. The strongest relic user, Old Man Lancelot, faces a swordsman who desperately attacks, only for Lancelot to effortlessly dodge every blow.

This time, it didn’t seem like Old Man Lancelot would dodge these attacks.

It wasn’t that he couldn’t dodge these attacks even though he was completely surrounded. As long as he was willing, he could have slipped through the gaps in the attack to escape.

However, it seemed like he was thinking something else as he pulled out his sword.

This was the first time that Old Man Lancelot was actually taking out his sword, so everyone immediately paid attention to him.

Only they were disappointed when they saw that he didn’t actually use the power of his sword.

Instead of drawing on the power of his relic, he used his sword alone to guide the wind blades around him. The way that he moved was almost as if he was performing some kind of sword dance.

However, it was all done with purpose as he directed all of the wind blades around him into the ground.

It didn’t matter how powerful the wind blades were, they were all directed right into the ground and created marks there. In the end, it was almost like a painting appeared around Old Man Lancelot with how many marks there were in the ground.

In the end, no one was able to see the power of Old Man Lancelot’s relic.

Those that had sharp eyes could see that the only reason he had even drew the sword was because he needed the toughness of the sword to guide the wind blades.

Those wind blades were still created with divine energy in the end, so it wasn’t as if a normal sword would have been enough to guide them. It was only a relic that was made of divine energy as well that was hard enough to guide these wind blades.

"Ha, ha, ha."

One side was panting after exerting himself like that and the other side was just standing without even taking a deep breath after performing that sword dance.

"It’s over."

That was the one thought that was on everyone’s mind when they saw this, but it wasn’t as if they were wrong about this.

It was clear that Old Man Lancelot had the sword relic user on the ropes.

But he didn’t allow the sword relic user to give up.

When the sword relic user was about to surrender, Old Man Lancelot suddenly stepped forward to release a slash that made him swallow those words. After all, the killing intent that Old Man Lancelot released had pressured him into using his sword to block.

Right before the swords could clash, Old Man Lancelot seemed to bring his sword back and pivoted on his heel. There was a twirl that came from him as he moved past the sword that the sword relic user raised.

When the sword relic user reacted, he found that Old Man Lancelot was already behind him and swinging his sword. It was already too late for him to stop it, so all he could do was raise the wind around him to take it.

"Pa!"

However, there was no slash that came.

It was a slap from the face of the sword aimed at his butt.

"You!" The sword relic user was naturally angered by the fact that he had been treated like this and all thoughts of surrendering went out of his mind. Even if he lost, he wasn’t going to let himself be humiliated like this.

So at the very least, he was going to get some revenge for this.

It was just that no matter how the sword relic user tried, he wasn’t able to achieve this.

Every swing of his sword was danced around by Old Man Lancelot.

Old Man Lancelot had never even used the power of his relic, he just used his sword technique alone to dodge every attack that came at him.

"Stop losing yourself and focus."

The sword relic user was taken aback when he heard this, but he was still consumed with rage at this point. It was hard for him to calm himself down when he was being humiliated like this.

So in the end, he continued swinging his sword around wildly like that for a while.

But once he started tiring, that was when his mind also slowly started to calm down and he was looking at the scene around him with a more objective mind.

When he did this, he could tell that there was something strange about the marks that were around him.

"This pattern..."

There was a lull in the attacks that the sword relic user released, but that didn’t mean that he became weaker. Rather, it was as if he was figuring something out with the way that his sword swings changed.

However, none of that mattered as Old Man Lancelot easily dodged every single wind blade that came out at him.

The only change was that he had to use his sword to guide the wind blades more.

After a while, the sword relic user completely came to a stop.

This time, Old Man Lancelot didn’t force him to keep fighting.

All of a sudden, the sword relic user bowed his head and said, "Thank you for your guidance."

Old Man Lancelot gave a simple nod and gave a soft grunt of acknowledgement.

It had been clear to everyone that had been watching that Old Man Lancelot had been training the sword relic user. But the fact that he was doing something like this was still surprising to say the least.

"He’s relaxed enough that he could actually teach someone during a fight?"

"Is this just the level of the strongest relic user?"

"No, even before he was the strongest relic user, he was already the strongest knight on the continent."

Everything that he had done had shown the crowd just how powerful he was and he hadn’t even used the power of his relic yet.

In the minds of the crowd, Old Man Lancelot had already become the favourite to win this tournament.
