The ones that had been completely fooled by the trap building didn’t let themselves be depressed for too long.

After all, this was a rare chance for them to explore these ruins and they didn’t want to waste it by feeling sorry for themselves.

If they had time to feel sorry for themselves, they had time to explore these ruins and find things that were actually useful.

If anything, they actually felt more motivated because they hadn’t been able to find anything. It was the feeling of wanting to make up for their failures with success.

As for the sect masters and elders who had been bragging about their disciples, the only thing that they could do was fall silent.

When things had reached this point, there really wasn’t a single thing that could be said that could bring things back. So the only thing that they could do was just watch until the disciples did something amazing again.

It was a good thing that there was another commotion that quickly drew everyone’s attention.

This time, it was impossible for them to mistake this place for something else since there were treasures that were even coming out of this building. Though it wasn’t as if they were able to grab the treasures that came out of the building.

There were these barriers that were around these treasures that made sure that they could only see and not touch the treasures.

In a way, it was almost as if they were being taunted by this building with these treasures.

But since there were these treasures that were being displayed, it wasn’t as if there was anyone that would be ignoring this building. They would want to grab whatever was inside of that building for themselves.

Which was why there were many disciples that came forward to challenge this trial.

It was just that none of them expected the format of the trial.

"It’s not just a single topic, it’s countless topics that they’re drawing on."

"No, if you look closely, you can see that it’s always related to the treasure that they’re trying to claim."

"It seems like each treasure is testing the ones that want to claim it to see if they’re worthy."

It wasn’t the disciples that had figured this out, it was the sect masters and elders who had been watching the entire time that figured it out. It was only normal for these bystanders to figure it out this easily.

They were just watching and didn’t face any of the pressure that came from the traps.

It was always easy for people that just watched to comment on those who actually took action.

Still, it wasn’t as if they were saying this for no reason.

The only reason that the sect masters and elders were saying this was because they were giving reminders to the disciples of their sects. They were reminding them to go and challenge the treasures that actually matched their abilities.

The disciples followed the advice of the elders and went for the treasures that they were confident in taking on.

It didn’t take long for the first disciple to receive a treasure.

Though after receiving it, it seemed like there were those that wanted to take this treasure from that one disciple.

"It’s just fair competition!"

That was the excuse that they gave even though it was technically blatant robbery. But it wasn’t as if they weren’t prepared for this.

It didn’t take long for all of this to devolve into battles between sects.

The disciples of each sect protected the disciples that received the treasures and made sure that they would be able to keep them.

During this time, the argument between the sect masters and the elders started once more.

It seemed like no matter what happened, rivalries between the different sects would never fade away. As long as there was something for them to fight over, they would start a fight over it.

Not that I was interested in this at all.

The only reason that I was even watching was because I was waiting for them to become heated. Once they reached a certain point where it seemed like they were only focused on their own fights, that was when I made my move.

I started moving towards the pavilion, but I never actually looked at the treasures that were scattered about. I didn’t care at all about these treasures since they weren’t my target.

Instead, I entered the building that the treasures were coming from.

One would think that it would be filled with treasures since it was the place that all of these treasures came from. It was also the reason why the sect masters and elders followed me when they came back to their senses.

Only they were disappointed the moment that they actually looked into the building.

They found that there weren’t any treasures as they had expected, there were only a few random things that were scattered around the building.

Though it didn’t take long for them to realize why this was the case.

"It’s flying out from there."

As soon as one of the disciples had claimed a treasure, there was this door that opened that released another treasure. In the split second that the door was opened to release the treasure, everyone could already see that there were countless other treasures hidden behind that door.

It made them turn all of their attention to the door and the things that were behind it.

None of them actually paid any attention to me as I started going through the things that they considered normal in this room.

Even when they did pay attention to me, it wasn’t as if they actually noticed anything strange.

They had no idea what I was picking up, so it was only natural that they would have no idea what I was actually doing.

In the end, I was able to gather quite the nice haul because of all of this.
