There was no way around it when the Mount Hua Sect came into view.

With the way that it was designed, it perfectly represented what a cultivation sect would look like in my past life.

Though for those that didn’t know what cultivation sects were, which was all of the soldiers that were with me, they were impressed for different reasons.

The main reason was the energy that they felt in the air.

From the looks on the faces of the others, I could tell that they had tried the same thing as me. At the same time, they all experienced the same thing as me where they found that they were incompatible with the spiritual energy.

After walking through the Mount Hua Sect’s gates, we were immediately surrounded.

It didn’t seem like they had gathered on purpose, it seemed like they had all gathered here because they wanted to see what was happening.

But seeing just how many people gathered here, it really was a surprise.

The Mount Hua Sect didn’t seem to lack people at all.

Even if they were curious, it wasn’t as if they were qualified to enter the main hall since they were still disciples.

There were a few that remained, but they should be the core disciples of the Mount Hua Sect.

Inside the main hall, there was a group of old men that were waiting for us.

The aura that they gave off was like the aura that the elder gave off, showing that they were indeed the elders and even the sect master of the Mount Hua Sect.

In that case, I greeted them with cupped hands as I said, "Greetings fellow daoists."

The higher echelon of the Mount Hua Sect were surprised to see this greeting from someone that they didn’t think was from their world. But in the end, they returned this greeting which showed that they were at least receptive to us.

The one that was the sect master cupped his hands towards me and said with a smile, "Guests from afar, thank you for coming to our Mount Hua Sect."

Once the ice had been broken, we were able to start a conversation between us.

They apologized for attacking us all of a sudden, though the way that they apologized seemed like they were pushing it onto the negligence of the disciples. They were trying to downplay all of this, as if they were trying to avoid being held responsible for this matter.

There were quite a few people that were unhappy with this, but they held back in the end.

After all, what we needed most urgently was information and the other side knew that as well. Which was why they were trying to settle this matter as simply as possible so it wouldn’t come up again.

Once that apology came, they started asking me about the power that I demonstrated.

Of course, since this was the only card that we held, it wasn’t as if we could let them have it that easily.

Instead of giving them the information that they wanted, we only traded for information about this world.
