Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2425: Hidden floor (46)
Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
Once I was done looking at the loot that dropped from the behemoth, I looked around the room a bit more.
I had been focused on the things that came from the behemoth that I hadn’t been looking at anything else in this room.
However, I soon found the thing that I was looking for.
Seeing this thing, I couldn’t help letting out a sigh of relief. Though at the same time, there was a part of me that couldn’t help wondering if there was something else that was about to happen.
"It’s not as if there would be a second hidden floor, right?"
But there was no telling what would happen until I took the portal that was in front of me.
This portal was the same one as the one that I took to get to this hidden floor in the first place. It was almost as if this was an exact copy of the portal that I had walked through previously.
Only this time, it should be the exit to this place...
Taking a deep breath, I moved towards the portal without actually stepping into it.
I was trying to see if I could figure out if this really was a portal that would take me out of this place.
It was just that while I was using the divine energy to scan the portal, I found that there was something else that was placed here. This was something that was completely separate from the portal, but it was still related to the portal.
It was a handwritten note that was placed beside the portal.
"This is the exit, you don’t have to doubt that."
A bitter smile appeared on my face when I read this.
I didn’t know what to say in response to a letter that completely read my mind like this, but I did know who wrote this. It was the same person that had created this hidden floor in the first place.
Thanks to this letter, I did have an idea of why they created this place.
"So it’s an experience? This isn’t the kind of experience that I wanted..." I shook my head with a bitter smile even though it wasn’t as if there was anyone that I could actually complain to right now.
In the end, I had to admit that this was quite the experience that taught me something new. Though I could have done without being sent to all those different worlds and meeting those gods.
The only thing that accomplished was that I had created more enemies for myself.
Though I had no idea where the gods of those worlds were located, I was certain that they would regard me as an enemy in the future. At the same time, there was no doubt that they would attack me the moment that they met me outside of this world.
Even if that was a long way to come, it wasn’t as if I wanted to make enemies this early.
The worst thing was that I had made an enemy out of a machine that viewed humans as the enemy. There was no telling how many such a thing would have spread to, it might even be more scary than a god.
With a sigh, all I could do was put the letter away and look at the portal.
In the end, there was nothing that I could do since everything had already passed.
I would just view this as an experience and try to figure out how to use it in the future.
After I had finished reading the letter, I stepped through the portal without any hesitation.
However, it didn’t bring me back to the place that I wanted to go.
Instead, it brought me to a familiar place...
"Wasn’t that supposed to be an exit?" I asked, but once again there was no one here to answer.
It wasn’t just because there were no signs of life in this place, it was more because the one that could have answered just wasn’t here at all. It wasn’t as if they would have appeared in a place like this.
So in the end, I had to just see if I could find anything.
But when I was about to move, I found that I was in a different state from normal.
It wasn’t a state that I was unfamiliar with since I had been in this state previously when I received the inheritances of the God of Creation. It was just that I had no idea why I had suddenly been thrown into a memory like this.
"Is this to give me context on the civilizations so I know how to deal with them in the future?" That was the only explanation that I could think of, but it was an explanation that I wasn’t happy with at all.
"If you’re going to do this kind of after sale service, you shouldn’t have thrown me into those worlds in the first place. It’s just cleaning up after you cause trouble..."
But that didn’t mean that I wasn’t curious about the history of this place.
It was a place where a robot uprising had happened, so naturally I wanted to know how that came to be. Though judging by the scenery around me, it almost felt like the robot uprising was already over.
Still, I wanted to see what this memory was supposed to show me.
Only all of a sudden, I couldn’t help feeling something familiar.
It was just that this wasn’t something that should have appeared in this place.
I had to get closer to make sure that I wasn’t making a mistake, but it really was hard to mistake this thing for something else. This thing had a unique sensation that nothing else could replicate, so it was easy for me to confirm this thing.
It was just that it didn’t make any sense at all.
"Why is there corruption energy in this world and what is it doing here?"
