After defeating the unicorns, the protagonist encountered bicorns who feigned allegiance before launching a surprise attack. The protagonist easily neutralized the bicorns with ice magic, collecting their materials. He noted the dungeon's immense mana reserves, implying a powerful final boss.

The third room was one that was much more spacious than the last two rooms, but there was a reason for that.

"This place...it’s like the land before time..."

Spread out in front of me was a large forest that really seemed like it had come from a time period that was long lost.

It was similar to what I had experienced a while ago, but it was also different.

After all, there weren’t any dinosaurs or prehistoric creatures that were here.

This place seemed like it was created for a settlement of completely different creatures. However, that didn’t mean that the ones that lived in this place were any less dangerous than dinosaurs.

In fact, they were actually more dangerous than if dinosaurs lived in this place.

Looking up at the space above the treeline, it was easy to tell what lived in this place since they were still flying up above me. But it was surprising seeing them since I never thought that there would be so many of them.

The final boss of the dungeon was a red dragon.

What was flying in the air were dragons of all colours and elements.

If the dungeon core was able to summon and nurture all of these dragons, was there even anything for it to worry about?

Not to mention that this wasn’t even the final area of this hidden floor, this was still the opening area of this hidden floor.

Even dragons were being used as openers for this floor, just what kind of floor was this?

"It has to be some kind of parasite..." That was the only thing that I could think of.

If the dungeon core had been capable of doing all of this, then it would have become an invincible dungeon core that no one would have dared to mess with. But that kind of thing would have broken the very balance of the game world and wasn’t allowed to exist.

So the only possibility was that something had changed this dungeon core to create this hidden floor.

"Are they trying to build up their forces? But if that was the case, what would they want to do after building up their forces like this?"

I didn’t have a chance to think that much about it since the dragons that had been flying up above me took note of me. I didn’t know how they had noticed me when I was hidden by the trees, but they were coming right for me.

It seemed like there was something that was drawing them to me with how they came after me.

If I had to guess, it was most likely something related to whatever was controlling the dungeon core to make this floor. It most likely recognized me as a threat after I cleared out the first two rooms and was trying to get rid of me.

"If that’s the case, I can use this."

If I could stir up whatever had created this hidden floor, then I might be able to find some flaws that would give me information about that thing.

So it seemed like I had to cause a bit of trouble.

As the dragons dived down at me, I could see that they were gathering their elemental energy inside of their mouths. All of them were preparing to fire their dragon breaths at me.

That wasn’t surprising since the dragon breaths were the strongest attacks that dragons had.

If they were sent to take care of me, it was only natural that they would start with their strongest attacks. It wasn’t as if they would wait and give me a chance to fight back or do something else.

Since they were coming at me with full force, there was no reason that I shouldn’t face them with full force as well.

Raising my hand, there were swords that suddenly appeared in the air around me.

At this point, it didn’t matter if I used the divine energy or not. At this point, even if it was the forces of Destruction that had snuck into this place, it wouldn’t matter if I used the divine energy since they had viewed me as an enemy.

Once the swords had finished gathering in the air, I released them at the dragons.

The dragons seemed to sense the danger that these swords posed to them, which was why they released their dragon breaths without any hesitation.

But the swords that were released tore right through all of the different dragon breaths that had been released. It didn’t matter what form of dragon breath was fired, all of them were scattered without a trace by the sword that penetrated through them.

Part of it was the force that the swords had been sent out at. The other part was that these swords were special swords made from a special material that could resist any form of elemental energy.

Which was why they were perfect for dealing with these dragons.

After scattering the breaths of the dragons, the swords continued flying upwards until they hit the dragons.

None of the dragons were able to take a single blow from these swords as they started falling down.

In the eyes of the dragons were looks of disbelief as they never thought that this would be their ending. But there really wasn’t anything that they could do in the face of the swords created from divine energy.

During the process of falling down, the dragon corpses suddenly disappeared and turned into loot.

I had already expected this to happen, which was why I had created other swords that flew up and caught these drops. Otherwise, there was no telling where these drops would have landed.

In a span of a few breaths, all of the dragons that had been flying in the air had been knocked down by these swords.

However, that wasn’t the end of it.

"The ones that were flying in the sky were just the ones that were patrolling. It seems like there are still more dragons hiding in their nests."
