After a while, I was tired of playing at the same table.

Since I had come here to experience the gambling den, it was only natural that I would want to experience different things.

Which was why I picked up my winnings and went over to another table.

There were a few people that moved after I got up and they stood there near the entrance. It didn’t seem like it was anything special, but I knew that this wasn’t the case.

These were people that had been sent by the casino to make a move just in case I left this place.

They were still planning on fleecing me, so naturally they couldn’t let me leave that soon.

Worst case scenario, they would just try to accuse me of cheating to prevent me from leaving. They wouldn’t be able to prove it, but they would be able to use this method to keep me here for a bit while they figured out what to do.

However, they didn’t make their move since they saw me heading to a different table.

It seemed like the people of this casino wanted to observe me a bit longer to see what I was doing and what kind of tricks I was using.

The next table that I sat down at was for a game that was even simpler than the previous one. After all, the only thing that one had to do was make sure that your cards added up to twenty one to win.

For this one, there was a trick that could be done without even knowing what cards were in the deck. It all depended on counting how many cards were left and figuring out how many of the cards that you wanted remained.

It was very simple math that even I could figure out in my current state since all of my stats had been boosted from everything that I had gained.

Only it wasn’t as if the dealers made things easy.

At the same time, it wasn’t as if there was anything regulating the rules in this place.

Since they were cheating, it wasn’t as if I had a reason to hold back either.

"Hmm, it seems like I’m having quite a streak of bad luck here."

The dealer’s face twitched when he heard this, but he did maintain a straight face even though I said this while looking right at him.

After losing a few rounds and then folding, I suddenly said, "All in."

As soon as he heard this, the dealer’s face turned ugly like the other one had.

It didn’t seem like he wanted to give the next card, but that hesitation only lasted a second before he gave me the card that I needed to win. This card was actually supposed to go to the next person since he was certain that I would stop, but I had defied his expectations.

Normally, one wouldn’t really ask for another card when they already had a twenty...

This was a trick that he had done to make it seem like he barely won, but I had used it against him.

It really was impossible for him to play tricks on me when I knew exactly what he was planning.

So in the end, my money doubled once more.

I didn’t remain at the same table after winning this since I knew they would try playing more tricks on me.

So instead, I went to the next table.

It didn’t matter which game I played at this casino, the dealer’s own tricks were always used against them. They really couldn’t do a single thing since I could see all of the tricks that they used.

Though to an outsider, it would seem like the Goddess of Luck was favouring me.

Thinking about it, this world did indeed have a Goddess of Luck and I was someone that was on speaking terms with the gods. Perhaps the real Goddess of Luck was indeed on my side.

With the winning streak that I was on, it seemed like many people’s attention was drawn to me. At first, it seemed like they were looking at me as if they were wondering if I was cheating.

But it didn’t take long for their expressions to change since I kept moving to different tables. After all, it would be impossible for me to set up cheats for all of these different games.

In their eyes, I was like the God of Gambling with how luck always seemed to be on my side. Though I certainly didn’t want to receive this title when I did become a god.

Many people even started following my bet and the casino started to lose even more money.

At that point, management really had no choice but to step in.

"Sir, it seems like you’ve been on quite the hot streak today. Perhaps you might be interested in something more fun than these simple games out here."

There was a part of me that couldn’t help finding it funny.

After all, what they were saying was very similar to a certain situation from my past life. It was the kind of situation that would usually lead to one losing their life unless they were the main character.

I honestly never thought that there would be such a thing in this world.

But the way that they were acting, it really was hard to dismiss this idea.

Since they were going out of their way to invite me like this, it would have been rude to not go along with them. Though in my case, I was more interested in seeing just what was hiding under the surface of this casino.

At the same time, I was curious if they were actually going to bring me to the place that I thought they were taking me.

"Alright, let’s go then."

Without a single word, they led me into the back of the casino and opened up a hatch that led into the ground.
