The protagonist attends a meeting regarding the corruption energy destroying lands. He confirms he has found a way to restore the land, but it's a slow process and might draw the attention of the forces of Destruction. Despite the potential danger, representatives from smaller countries, desperate to reclaim their homes, agree to the plan as long as a squad is formed to protect the reclamation team.

"Can you please help me heal those people over there?"

I gave a simple nod in response before heading over to where a group of old people were waiting for me.

The reason that it was all old people was because this was a free clinic that was in the middle of the Holy Empire.

In this place, they didn’t have to pay for healing like this since it was offered for free by the church. In a place where religion was the most important thing, it was only natural that there would be a bunch of people that were able to use holy magic.

Not to mention that old people like this would suffer from health problems the most.

It was why they were the ones that would be visiting the most.

However, it felt awkward for me to be doing this job.

After all, this was a job where those that held this position were known for their celibacy. When it came to me, I was the farthest thing that one could be from celibate since I had multiple wives and many children with those wives.

But when it came to using holy magic, it wasn’t as if there was anyone that could surpass me.

It was better to say that it was divine magic since what I was using for the holy magic was divine energy. It was using divine energy to simulate holy magic, but it was on a completely different level since it was divine energy.

"If only you weren’t a priest, you would make a good man for my granddaughter."

When I heard them say this, all I could do was awkwardly smile in response.

If only they knew who I really was, they certainly wouldn’t have said something like this.

Once I finished healing these old people, I followed the priest in charge back to the main church and prepared for the prayer.

Since this was the Holy Empire, it was only natural that they were the ones that had prepared this for me.

Though the better way to put this was that the prime minister had dumped me onto the Holy Empire.

I had been trying to remain inside of the Kite Kingdom with what I had been doing, but the prime minister seemed like he didn’t want to clean up more mess caused by me. Which was why he reached out to the Holy Empire and asked them to help arrange this.

If there was one group that would understand this, it was naturally the Holy Empire.

They hadn’t left a single gap and had perfectly prepared a new position for me.

It was almost as if they were too enthusiastic about this.

However, I didn’t complain about the place that they had prepared for me.

I was wandering around the world living a normal life because I was preparing to accept my powers as the future God of Creation, so there really was nothing better than the opportunity to observe the faith that was being received firsthand.

After all, faith made up the very foundation of a god’s power.

As I had all my seals released, I was able to see how faith was being converted into divine energy as they prayed. The faith that came from humans was a form of energy itself, but it wasn’t a dense form of energy.

It was the form of energy that was so weak that it was hard to believe that it even existed.

However, this wasn’t the real power of faith.

Faith was something that was gathered en masse, so it wasn’t harmful to followers to have this collected. All of that faith gathered together was actually powerful enough that it could be converted into divine energy.

Though from how it looked, it seemed like this divine energy’s catalyst was something related to the gods.

It was only when it entered the statue that was at the very front of this chapel that it was converted into divine energy. It seemed like something that came from the god was what was converting it.

Thinking about this, I couldn’t help thinking of the connection that had formed between me and those that had prayed before my statue.

Was it something similar where a connection was formed between those who prayed and who the statue was of.

But even if I didn’t see this, I already knew that this was something that was important for those that became gods. I even knew that this was something that had helped those ancestor of the orcs become demigods in the first place.

I had already been here for several days now and I was slowly figuring out the link between devotion and divine energy. But it always felt like there was this one little bit that I was missing.

It felt like there was something that I just couldn’t understand because I didn’t have firsthand experience.

Only it didn’t take long for me to get that experience.

"Brother, are you coming to tonight’s meeting?"

I was surprised by this sudden invitation.

Even though it wasn’t as if I had a bad relationship with the priests that were in this church, it wasn’t as if I was that close to them either. After all, I had only come here just a few days ago and it wasn’t as if that was enough time for me to build up a proper relationship with them.

So for them to suddenly invite me like this, I really didn’t know what they wanted from me.

However, it really was hard to say no when they invited me this sincerely.

So in the end, I followed them to see what it was that they were inviting me to.

The moment that I stepped in, I was surprised by how many people were gathered in this place. It seemed like more than half of the clergy was gathered for this meeting.

A part of me couldn’t help wondering if this was something dangerous.

But that thought jumped out of my mind the moment that I saw the statue at the front of this room.
