"It appears you had an enjoyable night."
A wry smile touched my lips as I observed the pleased expression on Alidus's face. My lack of verbal response was, in itself, a sufficient reply. The profound exhaustion I felt from the preceding night was also difficult to conceal. I wasn't the only one who had been left wanting; the four of them had been equally unsatisfied. Though I exerted myself to satisfy them and even managed to render them unconscious through sheer pleasure, they inevitably revived and sought more. It was a ceaseless cycle: one would succumb, only for another to awaken demanding further attention. Ultimately, I was completely depleted by them. Nevertheless, being thoroughly drained in such a manner felt strangely satisfying after a prolonged period of abstinence. However, this was neither the time nor the place for such reflections. Therefore, clearing my throat to compose myself, I inquired, "Well, shall we commence?" As I spoke, I directed a particular glance at Alidus, which, in turn, elicited a wry smile from him. The individuals assembled before me were not strangers; in fact, they were quite close to me, having shared significant responsibilities. They were, after all, the most potent relic users besides myself. They constituted our most formidable fighting force against the forces of Destruction. They were the ones who would provide the greatest assistance to the racial alliance when I was otherwise occupied. Yet, during our most recent confrontation, their contribution was regrettably minimal. They were simply no match for War in their current state. This is precisely why we had convened: to ascertain if I could impart some of my abilities to them. If they could absorb knowledge from me regarding the utilization of divine energy, their strength would undoubtedly increase. This was especially true as I intended to instruct them on perceiving the flow of divine energy. Naturally, a deeper comprehension of divine energy would lead to superior control over it. The ultimate aspiration was to teach them the application of domains. However, I recognized the need for a methodical approach, as this was something that required gradual instruction. I had simply underestimated their capacity for slow learning... "What do you mean by 'flow'?" "Are you suggesting there's a discernible pattern to it?" "I'm making an effort, but I simply cannot perceive this 'flow' you speak of..." Even the venerable Lancelot, who possessed the greatest talent among them, seemed unable to grasp my teachings. While he did not voice complaints like the others, his expression clearly conveyed his confusion regarding what he was meant to comprehend. The more he attempted to understand, the more bewildered he became. Even the seasoned instincts honed by Lancelot during his years as the greatest knight proved insufficient for this task. Initially, I struggled to comprehend the difficulty they faced, but then the reason became apparent. Even the saintess herself couldn't easily follow the currents of divine energy; at best, they could only perceive a faint sensation. They lacked the ease with which I could follow it, thanks to my unique senses. It could even be stated that my ability to perceive divine energy was unparalleled. Consequently, I reasoned, I could not hold them to the same exacting standards. "If they cannot sense it, how can I help them visualize it?" The crucial element was enabling them to visualize it, thereby facilitating their control over its flow. Yet, I understood the immense challenge unless they could perceive it visually or through some other sense. To achieve this, I needed to discover a means to make it possible for them. "What if I utilized my abilities to aid their visualization?" After considerable contemplation, a solution finally emerged. My travels through the various elemental villages had exposed me to diverse situations, which in turn imparted this knowledge. It was only through witnessing these examples that I was able to learn this power. Now, possessing the creation divine energy, which granted me the ability to manifest anything I could conceive, would it not be logical to create something that would assist them in visualizing this? Furthermore, it would allow them to experience the essence of a domain without exposing them to genuine peril. Although, some degree of danger was unavoidable, as experiencing a modicum of risk was essential for learning. Employing this method would truly be a case of killing two birds with one stone. "What are you doing?" Alidus inquired the instant he sensed the shift in the surrounding atmosphere. The others also perceived it, but unlike Alidus, they remained silent.Old Man Lancelot appeared to anticipate the unfolding events, having already steeled himself. Meanwhile, the Saintess seemed to commence her prayers, sensing the shift in the atmosphere. Once the surrounding domain was dispelled, I declared, "This is for your benefit. Concentrate on the domain I've established and absorb all you can from it." Then, in a gentler tone, I added, "Now, let's discover just how much punishment you can endure."
