Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2184: Fight it (1)

The initial indication of her transformation was the egress of corruption energy from her feet.
At this juncture, Zeldir had no alternative but to release Dorothy, reverting to his diminutive form. It wasn't a preference to relinquish her; rather, the encroaching corruption energy posed a direct threat to him. The corruption radiating from Dorothy acted like a sentient entity, seeking a new host.
Consequently, Zeldir was compelled to let her go, lest he expose himself to the corruption's assault. This was particularly perilous for Zeldir, a divine messenger imbued with celestial energy. Had the corruption energy latched onto him, the ensuing conflict with his innate divine energy would have been catastrophic, resulting in internal annihilation to facilitate its infiltration.
Upon being dropped by Zeldir, Dorothy's descent was intercepted by the very corruption energy emanating from her. This dark energy coalesced into a makeshift cushion, absorbing the impact of her fall and ensuring her safety before spreading outwards around her.
Despite the abrupt impact, the corruption energy persisted in its search for a vessel, exhibiting no signs of damage. Simultaneously, Dorothy underwent a palpable alteration. Her physical form continued to augment, maturing into an adult physique, yet it was simultaneously contorting as new appendages emerged. Initially resembling an adult human, she now appeared to be morphing into a demonic entity.
Horns sprouted from her head, wings unfurled from her back, and a tail extended from her posterior. The transformation was undeniably that of a demonic creature. Curiously, demons were not typically considered the embodiment of Destruction; they were merely pawns, ensnared by the machinations of destructive forces.
"If her desire is to acquire greater power to aid us, then this creature she's becoming must represent that power?" This was the most plausible hypothesis I could formulate, though its validity was secondary at this moment. Her fall indicated an opportunity for intervention.
"Channel your divine energy and attempt to purify the corruption. We must construct a net to contain it and help her regain control." This was not a solitary effort; it was a necessity for all present. My own divine energy was depleted from the battle with War, and even with Queenie's assistance, suppressing this phenomenon alone proved immensely challenging.
However, assistance was scarce. Many seemed paralyzed by fear of Dorothy. Despite our efforts to gradually shift the racial alliance's perception of her, deep-seated apprehension lingered. Her uncontrolled power fueled calls for her imprisonment, and now, in her current state, fewer dared to approach.
A handful of individuals offered aid, but their contributions seemed negligible. "Fight it! You can overcome this! Do not succumb!" I implored, attempting to bolster Dorothy's resolve against the encroaching corruption. Yet, her escalating transformations offered little hope, and her progress seemed stagnant.
"Perhaps it is time to end this, once and for all." Whispers of this nature circulated, but I resolutely ignored them, focusing my attention on aiding Dorothy in her struggle against the metamorphosis. Nevertheless, my efforts appeared to yield minimal results. "Resist!"
A familiar voice pierced the clamor. At its utterance, Dorothy seemed to react. A tremor ran through her, and her ongoing transformation abruptly halted. The voice resonated with a positive effect, reawakening her will to resist. I turned towards the source of the sound, my expression conveying surprise and inquiry: "What are you doing here?"
Rose completely disregarded my question, her gaze fixed solely on Dorothy. She had not arrived alone; my other wives had accompanied her. Rose was the first to voice her encouragement, and the others soon followed, their collective exhortations urging Dorothy to battle the corruption energy. With our combined support, Dorothy finally began to respond.
Summoning her will to fight, she began to suppress the corrupting energy that had invaded her being. As she pushed it back, her physical form started to reverse its transformation. Gradually, the horn, the tail, and the wings vanished. Concurrently, her body began to shrink, reverting to its original stature. To aid her, I concentrated my divine energy, weaving a net designed to help her regain control over the corruption. However, it appeared not everyone endorsed this approach. There were still individuals who felt it was best to eliminate Dorothy permanently. These were the ones prepared to risk everything for that outcome.
