Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2180: What is my specialty (1)
Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
"Sh*t, it really seems like I’m going to run out of divine energy before I can come up with a solution."
There really didn’t seem like an end to the amount of corruption energy that War could gather around itself, as endless corruption energy monsters were present here.
At this rate, trying to purify all of it felt like throwing drops into the ocean.
But if I didn’t, then I wouldn’t be able to defeat War.
So, what was the best way to break through and reach War?
While I was considering this, it seemed War was still getting faster and faster.
Seeing this, I realized that War’s domain had a second component.
It wasn’t just the death of the corruption energy soldiers that made War stronger; it seemed that even the passage of time made it stronger. It wasn’t that more and more corruption energy was being gathered around War, but rather it was the attribute of its domain.
War was something that became more and more intense as time passed, which explained why this same domain, representing war, was the same.
The more time that passed, the stronger the domain became.
So, it seemed like there was even a time limit being imposed on me...
"Why are you thinking so much about how you can break through his domain?"
I was caught off guard when I heard this voice, and I looked around to see where it was coming from.
It was only after looking down that I realized there was a bug clinging to my shirt.
Seeing this bug, I immediately knew who was speaking.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked the bug, or rather Queenie who was behind the bug, this question.
"It’s very simple; why do you care about what his domain does?"
The more she spoke, the more confused I became about all of this.
After all, in a battle between domains, it was all about discerning which domain was superior. Since I was weaker in terms of energy, it only made sense that I would seek out some kind of weakness to exploit and turn the tide.
But now Queenie was telling me to forget that?
I just couldn’t grasp why Queenie was saying something like this.
"Think about the specialty of your domain."
"My domain?" I asked, my voice laced with confusion.
It seemed like Queenie was done giving advice, as she fell silent.
I didn’t know what else to say, but I at least started contemplating Queenie’s words.
Eventually, she said, "Domains are representations of one’s power and they are based on one’s beliefs. As long as you focus on that, you don’t need to worry about anything else."
Queenie's tone was completely different from her usual manner of speaking, making me feel as though this wasn't truly Queenie.
Only when she put it like this did it start to make a bit of sense.
It was as if something had suddenly clicked within my mind, and I figured something out.
"I’ll need your help."
Queenie, or rather the bug representing her, gave a nod, indicating her agreement.
Though, before I made my move, I said, "We'll have a talk about your identity later."
This time, there was no reaction from the bug. However, that was more than enough to reveal who was behind it.
In fact, it was akin to a silent admission.
Ignoring it, I began drawing on the divine energy Queenie provided through the bug.
The specialty of Queenie’s divine energy was its propagation factor, which would help compensate for one of the things I was lacking. While it wouldn't make up for everything, as this was merely weaker divine energy, it was still sufficient for me to give it a try.
Once I had gathered enough divine energy from Queenie, I spread out my domain once more.
This time, I didn't just release the domain in the surrounding area.
I expanded it so that it completely enveloped War and its domain.
I was replicating what War had done previously, attempting to surround me within its domain.
Though, in this instance, it wasn't as if my domain was suppressing War’s domain, given its inferiority in power. It was more about enveloping it without exerting direct pressure.
"What are you trying to do? Are you giving me a hug now?" War taunted me when it witnessed this deployed domain, but I remained silent, focusing on my own domain.
Since it was my domain, it meant I had complete control over everything within its boundaries.
I used this control to pinpoint the distribution of the corruption energy soldiers, searching for areas with fewer of them compared to the rest of the formation.
After identifying a suitable location, I unleashed my attack without hesitation.
"You think destroying the soldiers will…" War only managed to utter half the sentence before being forced to raise its shield to block.
While not every projectile was halted, a handful of weapons managed to penetrate its defenses.
Though the impact seemed minor, it was enough to etch a mark onto War's formidable armor, the first one I had managed to inflict since its domain was unleashed.
This first mark, achieved after War unleashed its domain, signified a turning point.
"You..." War’s unfinished sentence, coupled with a shift in tone, unmistakably conveyed a newfound perception of me, no longer considered insignificant.
It was evident that War now regarded me as a genuine threat, transitioning from treating this encounter as a mere game.
Nevertheless, this revelation sparked an epiphany within me, and I began to grasp the true meaning behind Queenie's words.
"So, this is my true strength..." I mused aloud.
