Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2171: A small talk

"Holy son, you should really be resting up." The pontiffs trailing behind me urged for me to halt my advance towards the chapel within the main church, but I paid them no mind.
Thanks to the teleportation arrays, traversing from that kingdom to the Holy Empire had been remarkably simple. However, my immediate destination upon arrival was the main chapel.
The insistence of these pontiffs to impede my progress struck me as rather peculiar. It felt less like concern for my well-being and more like an orchestrated effort, a directive from someone seeking to obstruct me.
The implication was clear: an individual, or perhaps multiple entities, were attempting to prevent my entry.
Considering our location within the Holy Empire and my intention to commune with certain deities, the identity of those orchestrating this obstruction was hardly a mystery.
"Have you received oracles?" I attempted to prompt a confession, but their only response was to turn away. Their silence, however, served as an answer in itself.
I had no need for conjecture regarding the deities' reasons for withholding their presence; I merely wished to discuss a particular matter with them.
Yet, a significant obstacle stood between me and my audience with them.
If they were unwilling to meet me, the path was effectively blocked, as I could not forcibly enter the divine realm without their invitation.
However, upon reaching the chapel, I found myself being drawn into the divine realm.
The sensation of being pulled into the divine realm felt different this time, almost as if the action originated from within myself.
Once I arrived, I discovered a solitary figure awaiting my presence.
The very instant I laid eyes on this figure, I was taken aback.
Ordinarily, this divine being manifested as pure, unidentifiable light, obscuring any distinct features. While I might have discerned faint outlines, they lacked any substantial detail.
This time, however, the blinding light was absent, allowing me to perceive the figure clearly.
It wasn't difficult to surmise what had transpired, yet I was genuinely surprised to witness her complete form.
She appeared precisely as she had in the vision shown to me during the inheritance ceremony. Despite the unknown passage of time, she seemed utterly unchanged, as if not a single day had elapsed.
Then again, she was a deity.
Deities were, by their very nature, immortal; their forms did not alter with the passage of time. It would have been more astonishing had she shown any sign of aging.
A silent moment passed between us as we simply stood there, yet I could perceive the emotions playing across Solista's face.
Though she attempted to mask her feelings with a stoic expression, the subtle shifts in her eyes betrayed her inner turmoil. It seemed her divine light had previously served as a veil for such expressions.
I had little to say, as my objectives were paramount.
My sole reason for seeking out Solista was to pose a crucial question.
"I have obtained the third inheritance; where is the fourth?"
Solista had previously assured me that upon acquiring the three inheritances, the path to the fourth would be revealed. Now, having secured the three inheritances bestowed by the God of Creation, my focus shifted to locating the fourth.
Even the third inheritance alone had dramatically amplified my power, yet I doubted its sufficiency against the formidable War. I still vividly recalled the terrifying second form he assumed during our last encounter.
The limits of War's might remained unknown, and thus, I couldn't ascertain if my newly acquired strength was even remotely adequate.
I was unwilling to gamble with the lives of my family, which is why I was determined to claim the fourth inheritance before confronting War.
Only by obtaining that final inheritance would I possess the confidence to face the forces of Destruction.
However, it appeared Solista was not acknowledging my inquiry.
No, it wasn't that she hadn't heard me – such a lapse was unimaginable for her. It was a deliberate refusal to answer.
I remained silent, awaiting Solista’s response. When it became evident she would offer nothing, my patience waned.
"It is not yet the opportune moment," Solista stated abruptly, cutting me off before I could speak further.
My brow furrowed instantly upon hearing her words.
My expression conveyed my disbelief and frustration, yet she seemed entirely unmoved.
Sighing softly, Solista continued, "I understand your impatience, but the time is truly not right. I will inform you when it is, but that time has not yet arrived."
Her persistent evasion only deepened my disappointment and ignited a surge of anger, as it seemed they were reneging on their prior promise.
"You’re not ready." Solista stated, her words seeming to pierce directly into my thoughts.
Then again, judging by the way I was gazing at her, there was hardly any need for her to be a mind-reader to understand my internal musings.
Ultimately, it appeared I wouldn't be gaining any insights from her.
"Thanks for nothing," I remarked, just as she initiated my departure.
