Undine recounts the origin of the water elementals and admits to manipulating them in their youth by claiming the title of princess. Though Undine attempts to maintain a facade of annoyance regarding their continued devotion, the elementals reveal that Undine was a selfless guardian during their formative years. As the emotional connection between the group and the water spirits shifts toward cooperation, the elementals prepare to guide the prophesied one to their source. Undine remains focused on their pressing mission, eager to move past the embarrassing display of affection.

Now that the introductions had been completed, nothing remained except to proceed towards the origin of this location.

Guided by the water elementals at the forefront, reaching that origin turned out to be entirely effortless for us.

Yet the origin appeared to be situated right where one might anticipate.

As we ventured further in, I initially paid little attention to it.

However, plunging even deeper, a sense of unease began to creep over me. Part of me even suspected that these water elementals might intend to abandon me here to perish by drowning.

Of course, actual drowning wasn't a risk since Undine would remain by my side.

Nevertheless, continuing this downward descent seemed unlikely to yield any discoveries.

It truly felt as if they were guiding us to a barren spot devoid of anything noteworthy.

This vast expanse of water held absolutely nothing within it.

As though the water elementals were the sole inhabitants of this realm.

Yet that struck me as odd, given what I'd gleaned from the other elementals—they required vitality to thrive in such an environment. The creation divine energy relic had supplied them with precisely that vitality.

Thus, for this area to lack any lifeforms whatsoever, it hardly felt vibrant or alive...

After an extended dive, we at last reached our goal.

But upon glimpsing our halting point, I shot a puzzled glance at the water elemental ancestors. After all, this scarcely resembled the appropriate spot.

Only upon noticing my dubious stare did they all nod in unison, affirming that this was indeed the correct location.

That left me staring strangely at the object before me.

Present there was a swirling whirlpool at what appeared to be the base of this enormous water body.

So this massive water mass did possess a bottom, yet the presence of such a whirlpool at its depths came as a shock. One wouldn't expect a vortex like this at the very lowest point, but that wasn't the sole surprise.

The additional revelation was that this whirlpool emanated faint traces of divine energy.

Not ordinary divine energy, but specifically the creation-attributed kind.

Thus, the instant I drew near, I instantly recognized it as the target for infusing my divine energy.

The sole issue lay in my complete ignorance of the method to achieve that.

Injecting divine energy into a whirlpool like this wouldn't prove straightforward, after all.

Simultaneously, it was clear that this entity would expand upon absorbing my divine energy. The greater the infusion, the larger and more potent it would grow.

It seemed inevitable that I'd soon get dragged into the whirlpool and torn asunder by its forces.

"So how am I supposed to do this?" I muttered aloud, yet no one present could provide an answer.

To begin with, no one else could replicate this feat, so advice was out of the question. All they could manage was to observe my actions.

Truly, I found myself bereft of any viable choices...

After scrutinizing the whirlpool for some time, I sighed and edged nearer to it.

Though I realized touching it would suck me in and shred me, lingering at a distance accomplished nothing. Thus, I aimed to discern something by approaching a tad closer.

That approach failed, as no new sensations emerged from the whirlpool upon nearing it.

It all felt like a pointless endeavor, yet I sensed the watchful eyes of the water elementals trailing me. Quitting prematurely would leave them disheartened and fretting over future outcomes.

Only when I pressed right up to the whirlpool did a peculiar sensation arise.

This wasn't an ordinary feeling, requiring time for me to identify it.

Once I comprehended it, I instinctively lifted my hand toward the whirlpool.

In that instant, a link formed between us.

This sensation resembled a stream connecting me directly to the whirlpool.

As if I could tap into the whirlpool's inner power without physical contact.

Still, this link lacked the strength needed to channel power into the whirlpool.

That said, the familiar vibe sparked a particular recollection.

I retrieved the orb, gripping it while gazing at the whirlpool.

This subtle bond evoked how I directed my divine energy via the orb. Indeed, the orb allowed me to project divine energy and form various creations without direct touch.

This aspect had escaped my notice until now.

Without the orb, I invariably needed physical contact to wield creation divine energy.

Evidently, the orb served as a conduit enabling interaction with distant objects sans touch.

It appeared a solution still existed.
